We went on date last night and felt like steak. When we pulled up the line was out the door but somehow we got sat right away. It was a crowded Saturday night but our server was attentive. Our food was hot and fresh and delicious! We had no complaints but I would say that busboys were being a bit sloppy. I was so disappointed with the service we recieved when went there to celebrate my nephews birthday as a group of 9. We were told that they couldn't accommodate us as a group. We told them that we could take two tables then they lady said she could not guarantee that we would be seated next to each other really? We were celebrating a birthday. Let's start at the beginning, the hostesses he kitchen was ignore you when you arrive. They stand chit with their backs to you. When your name is called they grab the bread and walk away. We were left standing there. We were not even asked to follow her or spoke to at all. The restaurant is always dirty. When I looked in the kitchen walking by I was so grossed out. The kitchen was very dirty. When our food did arrived my steak had a short black hair on the plate. I sent the food back and we will not eat there again. Not one of the Roadhouse's better locations. Their staff are slow, and there's always a wait. Trying to walk through the place you have to turn sideways and push past groups of staff as they gather to laugh and joke instead of doing their job. Once you get seated the wait staff will notify you, several times, that they'll be right with you as they walk by a couple of times. Hope your orders right the first time, as the wait staff won't be back for 10+ minutes to correct it if not. Go ahead and request your check when you get your dinner, otherwise you'll have another 10 minute wait for the server to get it to you, followed by a nice wait for your card to be brought back to you. I don't know why, but this location can't seem to get it together. Every time I ask for a medium steak, it's wrong. I've gotten to a point where I just eat it however it comes. We went to this Texas Roadhouse for the first time a few days ago. I called in when we were on the way so that we wouldn't have to wait long to be seated,, and when we got there, the table was ready. No waiting at all and it was a packed house! The food was outstanding, the waitress that we had was on top of her game, especially considering how busy they were. I signed up with yelp just to rate this restaurant. My skin was crawling when my husband and I quickly hopped up and left $20 to cover 2 barely touched margaritas & a full order of fried pickkes. Aside from peanut crumbs everywhere. Our booth was caked with grimey food. The small roach crawling on the katchup showed signs that this place wasn't overlooked... or didn't just have a busy crowd. Single patron seated next to family with small child that they had a hard time controlling. My waiter Luke was very good but, the waiter for the family with the child behind me could use a shower and deodorant. When he brought their food on the tray lifted to his shoulder, the overwhelming BO was more than obvious. The steak was good as always but mr BO drags the rating down two stars.
