We had a party of 10 and they were super accommodating on a busy Sunday evening. The hostesses and waitresses were super friendly and very attentive. It was my father-in-law's birthday and they came and sang and made him sit on a saddle. All-around we had a very pleasurable experience and we must say that we have never been disappointed at any of their locations. Texas roadhouse always seems to be well staffed and well-trained. That goes along way in adding to a pleasurable experience. We never went more than a few minutes without the waitress coming to our table asking us if we were okay or if we needed anything. This bone in ribeye steak was fire! I don't eat steak often, but when I do it has to be right. For the few times I have gone to any Texas Roadhouse I have never been let down. The staff and the cooks get an A+ in my book. The portions and seasoning of the food is on point. Then to top it off the adult beverages is on the money. I always eat good, but have yet to get dessert. Because by the time I finish my meal I am stuffed . So if you ever want to treat yourself to a good meal or gather you friends up to enjoy a good meal, music and drinks this is your go to! They go big in Texas and this place proves that point! You get a big, nice portion and soft yeast buns with cinnamon butter to compliment your entree. I especially like the fried catfish filets, which are well seasoned and crunchy. The ribs have a nice sweet sauce and fall off the bone texture. The house salad is more than just lettuce and tomatoes! The hotdog from the kids menu is huge. This is the place to go if you're hungry or want dinner and leftovers for the next day! Recently I came to your location and was not greeted in a proper fashion. The staff did not seem welcoming at all. Our waiters service was fine, she just didnt not have a welcoming attitude. I felt as if she was doing her job for money but not because she actually enjoyed her job. There was only minimal effort done during our service. We all have our bad days but when multiple employees have the same attitude or lack of work ethic it really makes me dissatisfied and not hopeful that I'll be returning. read more

Overall, a solid night out locally for some better-than-expected steak. Service was very professional and attentive. The cinnamon butter & buns were delicious (& complimentary), and we always had a full basket on the table. Would recommend the French dressing on the house salad. Not 5/5 stars because the only seating available to our party of 10 was two back-to-back tables, even though we called in 40 minutes prior to our arrival on a relatively slow Thursday night. I took my lovely niece to eat at Texas Roadhouse for late night dinner because she's never been. While eating we heard yelling and screaming in the back. I assume it was an irate customers. It turned out to be 2 employees arguing and using profanity in the back. When I say arguing, I mean yelling to the point where it sounded like a fight was about to happen. It slightly frightened my niece. She was concerned and so was I. My niece got out of her seat and sat beside me and said "I'm ready to go!" This really saddens me that my niece had to experience this on her first trip to TX Roadhouse. I didn't pay for her to come hear employees argue. I would expect behavior like this from customers because the population of people change from day-to-day... BUT EMPLOYEES! Why ruin your reputation like that... was it worth it? Besides that altercation, my waiter was very pleasant and checked on us frequently. My food came out warm... i prefer piping hot so i know it's cooked fresh but i was so tired I didn't feel like asking them to heat it up. Despite that, the meat was very moist and tasty and the green beans and mash were good! They lose a star due to lack of professionalism and warm food. Okay, not bad, not bad. Great fun restaurant with good menu, fun ambiance and good service. Been a TRH in Cleveland many times while working there on business. This is the firs time for me in the Pittsburgh area and specifically in Monroeville. This place opened not more than a month ago. In that time they have worked through most of the 'opening day' issues and troubles. I used the 'call ahead seating' option and was seated within 5 minutes of arriving. That is good system management let's just say. We were seated in a booth in the bar area, which was just fine with us. Our server/waiter was very professional and cordial and prompt with his attention and service. We had three different stake selection all of which came out just a tad over done but very tasty nonetheless. The sides are 'kind-of' 'homestyle' but adequate accompaniment's to the main portion of the mean which is steak; which is why everybody is here. The menu is quite varied and offer may choices from ribs, to burgers to many kinds of steaks. I think everybody could find something interesting to eat here. Everything is moderately priced and full of flavor. Left well satiated and happy. We will be back for more. read more

As a Texan spending a month in Pennsylvania I was sure glad to see Texas Roadhose Restaurants here. Came in about 3:00 pm today and we were seated immediately. Our awesome server Jayla was with us pretty quickly and was very patient with my husband who has aphasia. There was a small mix up on my salad but it was easily and quickly fixed. Our steaks (11 oz. sirloins) were nice cuts and cooked perfectly. The only "problem" I have as a Texan is that they do not have Dr. Pepper, a Texas made soft drink. read more

I am ONLY giving this place 5 stars because of our server Sandi. Sandi was amazing, but as for the rest of the experience it was below 1 star. The food was garbage and mine was so burned I couldn't even consume it, it was also an hour before we even got food, but the other servers and kitchen staff were chuckling and carrying on as it seemed Sandi was the only one actually working and she kept apologizing. The table next to us came in before us and waited even longer for their food and the manager just blamed it on the waitress when in reality it's how you manage your staff and allow them to behave. The manager didn't even come over to our table and if I didn't know who the manager was I would have thought Sandi was the actual manager and maybe she should be because not only was she a hard worker, she was kind, and very professional. Whomever owns this place needs to re evaluate who you are hiring and keep a closer eye on the quality and also it was absolutely filthy in there the health department should be notified. I love TR steaks and the value is awesome. The service tonight deserves mention unfortunately. I waited 45 minutes past my scheduled pickup in the parking lot. No warning, no comment that they were running behind. Just wait and wait. Several others came and went so there must be a secret to good service. When I got home a few minutes later the steak was over cooked and the sides all cold. Oh and if you go and are fortunate to get Courtney as your manager, be prepared to be called honey, sweety, dear and any other demeaning term of endearment you can imagine. If that were a male manager saying the same words, he would be fired on the spot. I'm sure I'll go back and next time I might get 5* service. We went there for a birthday party of 10. we waited on hold for upwards of 30 minutes to join the waitlist. finally decided to come and wait. We asked for a party of 10 the hostess didn't even acknowledge us, just immediately called management who told us they won't accommodate a party that large? We asked to be seated 5 and 5. She refused saying she wouldnt Seat us near each other even if we waited longer for two tables. There were 10 seats at the bar and we are all over 21. We offered to show our Ids to sit there. She refused. overall management and the hostess was super rude. To make matters worse, we walked over to another restaurant and saw the half of the restaurant empty. It was a Tuesday night at 7:30...not busy we were staring at 2 open tables from the hostess stand. i don't recommend this location for anything But take out which talks away tips from wait staff. I travel the country and i would have to say that this was the worst experience I have had at a Texas Roadhouse. I ate at the bar and ordered my steak before a guy who came in and sat down next to me. Our salads came out at the same time, which is not a big deal. However, he was served his steak a full 29 mins before my steak was delivered. He was literally finished by the time my steak arrived. Granted the young lady was in the weeds, but the inept manager did not send her any help after she came out to check on her. I couldn't get her attention to even order another beer. My steak came out over cooked. And the manager did come out and asked me "how was everything?" I told her "late" she laughed and said they were very busy. Our experience was very bad to say the least. I took my mom here and the chicken wasn't done. The waitress was nice enough to send the food back and when my mom got her replacement, it was still pink on the inside. The waitress compensated us again and told my mom to pick something on the menu to get instead. She choose a cheeseburger. When she got the food it was a pulled pork sandwich. If I could give it less than one star I would. We arrived at the Monroeville/Wilkins location and were seated at 5:55 p.m. By 6:25 p.m. we still had not been waited on. Several wait staff passed by our table, they didn't even acknowledge us. The restaurant was not crowded at all. In fact the section we were seated in had only one other occupied table when we arrived. When people that came in after us were given drinks and had orders taken, that was enough. We walked out and asked to speak with the manager. When we explained what we had experienced, her reply was sorry I didn't know. That was it. I've had hit or miss experiences there. The first time our food was delicious. Second time, not so much as my steak was very over cooked. Third time was the charm because the burger was DEVINE. it's always REALLY crowded there so prepare to wait - even if you call ahead. However even with the crowd, I think the service is fine once you get a seat. Take some earplugs though, because the place is LOUDDDD. Showed up 7:30 at night on a Sunday. Not very busy. No wait for the bar. Bartender was super in-personable and just frankly kind of rude. Tried to order the Dallas fillet they were out. Okay order the prim rib. They're out. Then I settle for the ribeye with a salad and cream corn. Guess what. They're out of corn. Get my dinner. Never got my salad. Never got a refill on the drink. Ordered a rattlesnake bite before we ordered food and guess what. Come to find out they're out. Get the potato skin instead and we get it literally got it when we finished our steaks. Will not be returning to this location and literally hope this place fails as this is the kind of establishment that should. I've ate at several Texas Roadhouse and this is horrible. read more

Worst food experience I had in my life me and my girlfriend went a couple months ago to order a well done steak both of us. When we received our food the steaks was completely bloody both of them. They recommended me to get a new steak and keeping my sides after the blood dripped into my food. Once they brought out our new steaks they were still not well done!!! I was completely through at this point they brought over the manager who didn't apologize instead we were charged 74 dollar and we didn't even eat our food. Months later me and my girlfriend returned only to get the SAME exact experience. Only this time it wasn't just me. I watched as two tables near me sent their steaks back because they weren't cooked properly. I don't know what happened to this location but it's going down hill completely. I walk past as I'm leaving after having another distasteful service only to see the kitchen crew grouped up laughing. Is there no accountability in that location how could three meals get sent back and everyone is just around laughing. Highly recommend never coming here until there under new management! read more

Came here for dinner with my boyfriend and used call ahead seating. Got to the restaurant and waited for about 25 minutes. Got seated, ordered and salads came out very quickly. Multiple people were seated after us and received their meals in a timely manner. Unfortunately we waited for about an hour when our waitress finally came over and said she apologized for the wait and alerted the manager. The manager approached us and apologized for the wait and gave us a discount on our bill. Very professional and polite. We waited for another 15 minutes and our waitress brought our food. Which were BOTH the wrong orders. I ordered chicken and received beef, he ordered a filet Mignon and received a sirloin. I finally received the right order after sending mine back but he did not. They also charged us for the filet on the bill. I appreciate the manager trying to make it right but in all honesty we will not be returning. read more
