This was first time ever at any Texas Roadhouse! After a rough day delivering Girl Scout cookies before Snowmageddon 2026, I was famished. I'm trying to eat a little healthier this year, so I've scaled back my visits to a lot of my favorites guilty pleasures. Believe it or not, Texas Roadhouse is a great option for lean protein and fiber--two things my Cal AI app is telling me I need more of. I ate at the bar. I ordered an eight ounce sirloin--medium rare--along with mixed vegetables (steamed carrots and broccoli) and a massive sweet potato with a bit more delicious butter than I'd initially anticipated. Everything was tasty. You'll see from the photo of my dinner that the presentation was serviceable. I'll absolutely go back, especially since my total bill for dinner was $20 before tip. I'm not sure how they stay in business! Staff at the bar were friendly and accommodating, despite the place being slammed. It did take a few minutes to get my check, but it was clear the team behind the bar was working hard. read more

We decided we had Gift Cards last night.....so we ended up at Texas Roadhouse in Plymouth, they always Serve you those Rolls with Cinnamon Butter....don't get me started with those Rolls ...there Addicting and Dangerous...because there so good, anyways we also got some Fried Pickles with Cajun Sauce and Ranch, there so good, for Mains we got....since we are NOT EATING MEAT every Friday for LENT, I got the Salmon with Veggies on it and for my Side Double Salad with Thousand Island Dressing, everything was made amazing, @websterbuffa88 got the Shrimp with Rice, Salad with Blue Cheese Dressing and Sweet Potato with Honey Butter, everything was delicious and our Servers Erin and I think her named was Amanda did a fabulous Job on such a Busy Friday Night, definitely worth a Date Night for us both, great Meal also! read more

so disappointing. before we even had our bodies in the booth, 2 servers arrived "ready to order?". NO. they came back 3 more times before we were ready. had. 6&8 yo kids and myself. Yes the rolls were fresh and delish. And the peanuts. Both were Free! Kids got chicken tender meals-the chicken probably was cooked a day or two ago. Sides? Corn was cold. Our service was AMAZING! If you ever go to the Plymouth location and have Joe/Joey as your server you will be one of the luckiest tables. Boy was on top of it, did a coke run low - no bc we had a new one, did he ID the older yet young-ish woman to make those tips YES. Table of 9 with no mistakes, no missing food, high energy. Go. Go now. The only reason I'm rating this a 4 is bc you can't make reservations and have to call an hour ahead to add yourself to a waitlist, then can't be seated until the whole party gets there. read more

Been here many times but for some reason this time was not what I would call great. When we arrived we were greeted straight away and they tried to seat us at a table that was for a large family and there were only 2 of us, so we asked for a booth since there was no one there yet and you would have thought we asked for someone's first born by the look we got. At least the table was clean. Our waitress came over and was pleasant and took our drink and appetizer order and I specifically asked for the unsweetened tea and lo and behold what did I keep getting, sweet tea. Our appetizers came and before we even had our first bite our salads were in front of us as well which really detracted from eating the appetizer. I ordered the 20oz bone in ribeye medium rare and the first one came out and was all fat and bone and cooked well done. The Manager came over and apologized and said that a new one was being prepared and it was on the house which they didn't need to do because I just wanted the steak that I ordered and not a free meal. Well I'm glad it was because the second steak that came out was not even cooked, it was raw and cold and had actual blood on the plate. Also all of my sides were cold and not replaced which was not acceptable. When I told the waitress she replied "at least it's free". I have to say, I really enjoy Texas Roadhouse. But unfortunately last night was AWFUL thanks to our lack of service and a very unhappy waitress. Last night was my brother in law's birthday and my wife and I decided to take him out to dinner. But unfortunately we were sat in an area that was waited by the woman who had a personality of a wet paper towel, it really felt uncomfortable and embarrassing to have taken my brother in law there. She was definitely not friendly, offered no suggestions and looked annoyed the ENTIRE TIME! My wife had to go and ask her if everything was ok? But that didn't change a thing. This is a perfect example why I voted NO on question 5, someone like that should not get equal tips as someone who is actually a very good waitstaff. read more

Service was good. My wife ordered the 6oz filet. Unfortunately when the steak came out it was a sirloin not a filet. Manager came over and did not take the plate back to investigate the cut of meat just said we can cook you a new one. We said ok then the new steak came out and it was once again a sirloin. Two nights in the same week we came here for dinner and both nights the restaurant was filthy. We called ahead via the app so we didn't have to wait but still had to wait several minutes, even though there was no one in front of us and plenty of tables open. On both nights, the floor was the filthy. The staff walked on the path and not one single person picked up a broom to clean the floor. One of the staff came out of the kitchen and lost control of the food in his hands. A cup on dressing fell to the ground and splashed right next to me. This kid kicked the cup and left it on the floor, stopped, then backed up to pick up the cup and placed it on the tray with the food he was to serve. He never returned to clean up the floor. The mess remained on the floor and each staff person walked over and on the food that was messed on the floor no don't understand why no one stopped to clean the floor. One of the two nights one manager came to visit us. The other night, the one with the food splatter, not a single person from management came to any of the tables to visit. Both nights the bathroom was filthy. This is one of the nights to show how filthy it was at the sink. Showing the toilets would be revolting so I will not share. The place seems to be mismanaged or no desire to keep the restaurant clean. The food was ok. I had a grilled chicken sandwich both nights and each night the chicken had very little flavor. I asked for croutons on the salad and they forgot to do that. Also asked for the salad at the meal but was brought out before the meal. I have been to other restaurants under this brand name and have never been to such a filthy restaurant. I will not be back. read more

We've been here many times but last was about 1 year ago. The place was half empty on a Sunday afternoon- an indication something was off. Well- it was the food. Our server, Curran, was phenomenal! Absolutely loved his energy and friendly personality. Helped us choose our drinks and gave very helpful suggestions from the menu. Food itself was amazing and Curran always checked up on us, made sure we were well taken care of. He made the experience very pleasant and walked out of the restaurant extremely happy. The management and staff were all so very kind and were consistently making sure that we were satisfied with our experience there. If I could leave zero stars I would. They sat us at a table that hadn't been cleaned underneath. I physically had to KICK food out of my way to put my feet under the table. The floor was littered with food on the ground yet there were several people standing at the hostess station doing nothing? Despite okay food, it's impossible to enjoy yourself there. They think the public likes freakish dancing to excruciatingly loud music right next to your table while you're trying to eat and have a conversation. They drag old people 20+ yards to sit at the back door that's constantly opening and closing in below freezing weather and near the bathrooms where all you hear is the hand dryers. Made reservations only to wait 30 minutes when we arrived. Hour and a half for food after being seated and my steak was so well done it hurt to swallow. Every meal was wrong and I had to watch everyone eat and take mine to go. Want bread? Sure. Never came. Want your chili before your meal? Never came. Want cheese and bacon on your fries? Never came. Ordered a family meal of chicken through the app for my daughter's birthday party. Super easy to use and I was able to place the order and pay a few hours before I needed to pick it up. I'm not a cheap spender when it comes to going out. My margaritas alone were 16/each- which I didn't even mind. I ordered the smothered chicken tonight as a dinner. The receipt the waitress charged me extra for smothered and veggies even though that's what my meal consists of? When I brought it up she said she will get the manager and made no sense in her reasoning behind the upcharge. I said listen I'm not waiting for ur manager it's the principal? She gave zero effs!! This was my second time going to a Texas Roadhouse the first time was the Dartmouth branch so I was really hungry and I wanted a good meal the day I went was Tuesday July 9 .I ordered the 12 oz rib eye , corn with sweet potatoes No complaint with Brian the waiter , My steak was literally served raw I couldn't believe it I had Brian bring it back and have them cook it the sweet potatoes where cold no hot or warm but cold . I said earlier I've been to the Texas Roadhouse twice once in Dartmouth and this time Plymouth the experience in Dartmouth was very poor so it's been about two years . We ordered dinner and an appetizer. We watched several tables around us getting their dinners served to them while we continued to wait almost an hour to even get our appetizer. We asked the server how much longer it would've for our dinner. He advised us he would check. After waiting another 10 minutes we approached where the food is given to the servers. We asked our server what the status was he informed us our order was not placed. He proceeded to put our order in and apologized and said he would talk to the manager about the situation. She came to our table after the meal and offered us a free appetizer for our next purchase. Nothing offered for this meal. The best part we never received our appetizer. read more

The place was busy, not their fault. When I went to the restroom I saw that about 1/3 of the restaurant was empty. They claimed there were no empty seats - I pointed out all the empty seats. Well, it's been just over a week since my mixed skin tone family and I were served with racial profiling and exceptional rudeness. I spoke to the waitress and the manager. I wrote about our horrible experience through the Texas Roadhouse website. I posted about it to Facebook and Twitter (I even used #). I followed up with a call the next day to be sure the detailed post to TRH website had been received. The nice lady I spoke to said she saw that it was there and that they usually ask for 24-48 to respond. Just over one week later and.... nothing. I'll accept a lack of response as a clear response. I stopped on our way out of the restaurant that night because, even though our experience was already horrifying, I thought I could help the waitress understand what went wrong, but when she rolled her eyes and walked away I should have realized that was the Roadhouse way. On the plus side we went just down the road to the locally owned and operated #Cabby Shack. Ten stars. They couldn't have been nicer even though by now it was getting late. read more
