BAIT AND SWITCH! Bad experience this evening. Went there during their happy hour as advertised online for dinner and drinks. When we placed our order, our server assured it was happy hour prices. We were well within the time frame. All rosy until the bill came. $9.50 for a skimpy pour of house wine and $8.50 for a draft beer. When we asked about the charge the server said oh sorry I misinformed you. She left with the check (we thought she was going to correct the bill) and came back and said sorry, it doesn't apply to beer and wine. What? Spoke to manager at front and was told some locations offer happy hour prices but not at the Viera location. Too bad. This is the classic bait and switch and we won't be back. read more

I enjoy eating in this restaurant. But I have ordered to go twice from them and both experiences have been horrible. First time we drove from our home which is about 7 miles and got our food and then drove home and the order was the wrong order. Got a child meal when we ordered two adult meals. Last night we tried to go orders again. I ordered my usual the rib eye (which is usually very good) very tough and not good at all it almost looked and tasted like a sirloin. Loaded potatoes were so hard you could not eat half of them. Salads were good and the rolls were good. Spent almost $65 and could not eat most of the food I suggest that the store look into its to go department and work on it. I guess in the future if we are going to eat here then we are going to have to physically go eat in the restaurant. Which after a busy day may not happen. read more

Steaks are always perfectly cooked. They sometimes get the Salmon wrong but are always quick to correct. Great customer service!!!

Overall, ok but some simple changes will make a big difference. The rolls were great! The baked potato is very big. The service was good and everyone was friendly. The coke was very thin on syrup so the mixture needs to be adjusted. My medium rare steak came out very rare, same issue with the table next to me. The manager brought out a newly cooked one and it was done correctly. There didn't seem to be any seasoning on it though. The knife is a good quality, not as nice as Longhorn, but the fork is cheap stamped metal and the size of a salad fork. Not comfortable to use and doesn't go with the knife. I tried to give a balanced review of the good and bad and hope my suggestions are appreciated. read more

From the moment we walked in this place won us over. The hostess brings you to the table with a basket full of warm rolls. Our server was great, made recommendations for appetizers and drinks that were on point. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and portions were large. This location has horrible phone service for to-go orders. Made me wait on hold 15 minutes. Then when I started ordering, halfway through they told me I couldn't order on the phone through their Texas Roadhouse To-Go option which was clearly stated by pressing #4 on the phone. We've eaten here twice in the last 2 months. We always go early and get seated right away. The prime rib is the best I have ever hat at a chain restaurant. The steak and ribs combo is also superb. Lots of sides to choose from and the atmosphere is casual and friendly. Super servers that break out in a line dance a couple times a night. So much fun. Of note to old friends of TRH, there are no more buckets of peanuts on the table, but the food makes up for it. We love eating here. Prices are very reasonable, at least half of a fancy steak house in Orlando. read more

Horrible experience - I was going to dinner with a friend and I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and the quality of the meat looked terrible. It was grayish in color and had tons of fat in it. I was picking through the meat and a huge bone about 5 inches long and 1 inch wide fell out of my sandwich (which would of been terrible if I bit into that since it was hidden in the bread - also it was extremely hard and someone could have broken a tooth on it) I asked the server to take the entree back and just ordered a side of fried pickles. New place. Just open about 2 weeks. Our experience could not have been better. With COVOH virus issues they did everything they could. Had a lot of staff working but would imagine many were trainers. Kailee served us and did great. From salad to 10 & 12 oz rib eyes were perfectly cooked. Good quality. Hope this continues in to the future. Chains tend to slide backwards once established. Had dinner here for the first time on 10/25/20. We were waiting for the new restaurant crowds to settle down before we went. We were not disappointed. It was pretty crowded but we got a table right away. Our server Sara was amazing. She took care of everything we needed and answered all of our questions since we were new to Texas Roadhouse. The food came out promptly and everything we had was delicious and cooked exactly as ordered. Both our steaks were tasty and we really enjoyed our entire meal. The music was a bit loud at times and the restaurant is a bit loud, so if you're looking for a quiet meal this isn't the place. Brianna the manager was great as well and was checking with tables to make sure their experience was good. All in all this was a fun place and we will definitely return. read more

First visit yesterday. Arrived around 4:45, and was surprised how many cars were in the parking lot. Restaurant was 3/4 full, but found out later that there is a special until 6 pm, and we'll this is Florida. Waitress was on point, checked by often. Steak was delicious as well as the Catfish. Salads were crisp and fresh. Rolls with cinnamon butter were a little smaller than we remember, but we're fresh and they brought more. Manager stopped by to say hello. Experience was pleasant and the food was better than I had honestly expected. Will return. As we were leaving at 5:30 there was a line out the door. read more

I have been pretty disappointed with a lot of the restaurants in the area so I already had a chip on my shoulder when I arrived at the place, Boy was I wrong. from the very second I walked in I was surprised, the atmosphere was uplifting and it was super crowded but here is the kicker they engineered every booth with Glass dividers so that Social distancing requirements were met and because they were glass it did not affect the experience one bit. Then I tasted the Steak... It was spot on, perfectly cooked the manager visited my table and engaged us... She was delightful and very charming. My wife and I really needed this experience. Due to our son having asthma we're still not venturing out, so we ordered takeout. The website failed to mention they had a spot to park and food would be brought out. So I parked and walked up asking where to go for takeout, they directed me to the side and where I could have parked. I let them know who I was, they said the food was almost done and would be right out. So I moved my car and waited. I occupied myself and before you know it 20 minutes had gone by. It turns out they gave my order to someone else!! This started off as a 1 Star, but the manager came out(in the rain) to apologize profusely, offer a credit for next and comped this meal...which still had to be prepared again. This is our first visit to Texas Roadhouse in Viera. We have been to them in the local area and out of state. I called ahead to determine the wait time and found that there was no wait. Our waiter was very pleasant. I had the 8 oz NY Strip and it was superb. My wife had the steak kabob which she described as very good. Our waiter checked on us during our meal. A hostess came by to welcome us to Texas Roadhouse and gave us a card for a free appetizer on our next visit. I did not have to walk on peanut shells to get to our table, but when I inquired we were offered some. No thanks. read more

Again we visited Texas Roadhouse Viera and again were very disappointed. Our food must have sat waiting for our server as it was lukewarm, both the entree and the vegetable. Cold meat and cold broccoli is not very appetizing. Server was busy disappearing and/or dancing, not very attentive and not very informed nor helpful. We usually have another server who is very good, Christina. But servers and/or cooks need to step up and serve orders HOT. Will there be a next time, I'm not sure. read more

Terribly disappointed in my web order for pick up today scheduled for 12:15pm. I placed the order at 11:40am. Ordered a grilled chicken salad with no alterations and a steak filet salad also with no alterations. Arrived at 12:15pm, food wasn't ready but ok. Less than a 5 minute wait. Got food, drove 4 miles home only to find chopped egg all over the steak filet salad with barely any green lettuce. Chopped egg is not listed as an ingredient for this salad and the person who was to eat it hates eggs. Called the restauran, waited on hold for close to 5 minutes. Gal answering the phone put me on hold for the manager...another 5 minute wait. He seems nice and says he will make a new salad ASAP. I head back to pick up new salad, taking the poorly made one back to show him the condition of the lettuce, the eggs, etc but the manager doesn't have time to see me. I understand being busy during the lunch hour but when a customer has an issue you take the time. Obviously doesn't care about improving their food prep, their ingredients so leaves you wondering about other areas such as food safety. read more

The food was good but the service sucked. I work in a restaurant so I know how service should be. For starters when the waitress was taking drink orders she was calling us by numbers. "6 wants water, 5 wants water, 4 wants water.." etc. Okay fine she's new and just trying to be organized. Didn't like it but let it go. Then for bread and appetizers we didn't get tiny plates and there were literally a stack of them right by our table. When it came to getting food we had a person who didn't even get the order and the waitress admitted to not even putting it in. Come to find out it was because she didn't even right it down. So the whole table had finished eating and our one friend didn't even get her food yet. Finally the manager came to apologize and didn't even comp the meal or offer a free dessert. In the restaurant I work at my manger would have bended over backwards to make sure the mistake was corrected. So again to reiterate, food was good but service was not. I'm giving three stars because maybe it was just our server and not the restaurant as a whole, however the manager didn't try to rectify anything. read more
