Tried Texas Roadhouse for the first time and it didn't disappoint LOL the rolls are to die for so I understand the hype. I could eat so many!!!!!!!!! The steak and shrimp were a bit too salty for me. The cactus bloom is good but so huge. My friend and I could barely eat half. I also ordered chili for my side and I really liked that. I would come back here for the rolls and apps

I really love the steak kebab at this restaurant. I ordered it rarely came out perfect. It's so low in calorie and healthy that it is my go to. I did have a baked potato today because I wanted to splurge, but generally speaking I get the side of vegetables only and it's so satisfying. It's seasoned well it's tender. Just delicious.

I'll start off with the good! -huge parking lot - great service (we loved Katie!!) - great food - loved the cheese fries and steak - get the brownie sundae, yum! The bad ( we went on a Saturday at 4:30pm) - the 35-45min wait that was actually over an hour. - [[HIGHLIGHT]]limited seating inside, where you can hear your name called[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] -the host lied "you"ll be next!" We were NOT next. -the famous rolls that sit under lamps but also has waiting guests with children coughing on it (since the weight is so tremendous the lobby gets beyond packed) Overall would recommend but be aware of the wait, especially if you're pregnant / have children / elders in your party.

The service is good and they give a complimentary freshly baked butter bread which is so good, the crews is very nice The steak we eat on the first two visits are quality meat with a very affordable price, but last Friday dinner we visit the steak is so dry even we order medium, hopefully next visit good quality steaks again

6 oz Sirloin Steak Dinner Early Bird $12.99

The early bird special 6oz steak with a cup of chili was a good meal. It's tough to go at 4:30 for dinner, but I made it happen just to try it. I knew I wanted steak so with the 6oz option. Steak was decent and not too chewy. I thought the cup of chili will cost extra, but it was included in the early bird deal. Chili was alright, if that's your go to side.

Beef Tips were overcooked but the mashed potatoes were excellent.

I am almost NEVER visit chains. But my first visit to this wildly popular restaurant was a very good one. So, yes, 5 stars for Texas Roadhouse. First, sign up for their email club or whatever it's called, and you get a free appetizer. Just do it. You can always unsubscribe later. The place was absolutely packed on an early Wednesday night. There was no wait but on their app, you can join a waitlist, if you wish. I can imagine they get slammed on the weekends. Nearly everything we tried was very good. As soon as you sit down, you are given a baskttheir incredible rolls and butter. They are pillowy soft, sweet, and delicious. Everyone loves them. You will love them. If the server doesn't mention it, you can also request shelled peanuts. The "tater skins" starter is a solid one. You get eight, count 'em, eight potato skins absolutely stuffed with melted cheese and tons of bacon crumbles. This place does not skimp on the toppings or, really, on anything. It comes with sour cream and a very tangy and delicious ranch dressing. This is a very hearty and good appetizer. For the entrees, the sirloin was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. It didn't need any sauce but the Texas Roadhouse brand sauce in the bottle on the table is very, very good. Give it a try. The cheeseburger was absolutely delicious. You get a big, thick patty and it's well-seasoned and very juicy. I would absolutely order this burger, possibly over the steaks. The only slight bummer were the beef tips. They were overcooked and dry. They come with onions, mushrooms , and sour cream (on the side) which gave the dish a stroganoff-type flavor which I liked. But sadly, that meat was overkilled in the kitchen. For the sides, the French fries are big, steak fries, and they are well-seasoned and very good. The mashed potatoes tasted homemade and were great. The buttered corn was good. I was slightly disappointed in the chili because it was a little thin. But it had big pieces of meat in it which I loved. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Decor-wise, the place looks like what you think a Texas "roadhouse" might look like--very Western-themed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is also very loud but in a festive way. It is all country music on the sound system, all the time, and about every 45 minutes or so, the servers line up and do a line dance in the middle of the restaurant. It's a hoot[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I don't know how anyone could not like this unless their name is Scrooge or Grinch. Our server was beyond friendly and sknew the menu by heart. From other reviews, I get the sense that hospitality is a priority to this chain, and it shows. This is a very entertaining place and the food was mostly very good. I would happily return.

Texas Roadhouse 20 Teterboro Landing Dr. Teterboro, NJ 07608 Dinner Rolls with Cinnamon Butter Cactus Blossom Rattlesnake Bites 20 Oz. Bone-in Rib Eye Baked Potato with Shredded Cheddar/Buttered Corn Country Fried Sirloin Sweet Potato/Seasoned Rice Herb Crusted Chicken Appearance: Taste: Don't have a cow, man! When you step into this steakhouse, this joint will knock you off your socks! From prompt service to tasty food, get ready for the last supper! The appetizers are always a compliment to the main menu. Although the cactus blossom is clearly a counterpart to the Bloomin' Onion, you'll want to devour every last bite. As always, don't be bashful about asking for an extra dipping sauce. Regardless of whichever meat you choose, you're in for a treat. If you can't decide, do what I do...make multiple visits so you get the best of all worlds. Medium rare is my preferred method for the steak. It had a slightly pink center and melted in my mouth! Like the appetizer, the side dishes are the wingmen to the main course. Whether you choose a baked potato, shredded cheese potato, or sweet potato...you won't go wrong and they each have a unique flavor and zest! Lunch specials are available, but the time frame is limited. Your best option is to just go all out and order from the dinner menu. Come hungry and get ready to feast like a beast! #texasroadhouse #cactusblossom #boneinribeye #steak

Good food. Takes a long time to be seated so join the queue on your phone in advance during busy hours. Chicken fried steak was mid. But the trio of mini filets was amazing! Will get that next time. First time at this chain and I'll def come back. (mac and cheese was eh, chicken fried steak eh) liked the loaded mashed potatoes, fried pickles, mini filets, rice

Reading the WSJ that TR is one the fastest growth chain steakhouse. Sunday night 8:30pm full house with a line. We waiting 30min & get our table for 3. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Dallas bar layout, clean, fast, good value & loud[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Without asking they serve hot unlimited buns with cinnamon butter & bag of peanuts. Good and sufficient for people to munch on. We order Jr steak for my daughter, appetizer combo, grilled chicken sandwich with mushroom and margarita all fairly tasty. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Room to improve is music is so loud we can't heard the server.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] All the food plus drinks less than $50.00 for sure bang for the buck

Everything was great. Our food was delicious and the waiter Marcus was excellent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Comfy country fun place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

PEANUTS and Fresh-Baked Bread (comes with a portion of Honey Cinnamon butter)
    Chloe' L.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This restaurant has a simple, vintage cowboy style.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Sirloin Steak (medium rare), Ranger Rib Basket, 18oz Margarita (+Patron Kicker) and side dishes (roasted sweet potato, corn, and broccoli) are all above average. The food is great value for money. The Extra Fresh-Baked Bread (almost unlimited, the hot bread with Honey Cinnamon butter is delicious) is also excellent. Their roasted sweet potato is basically the same as Taiwan's "earthen-roasted sweet potato"... the texture, sweetness, and flavor are all the same, hot and creamy...it reminds me of Taiwan!!! The service is also very responsible. Although they can't always be there to greet you, they are quick to serve when you need it, which is great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Considering the restaurant's ambiance, the prices, and the efficient service, it's a very pleasant experience overall, and a great place for the whole family to dine together.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Becky K.

Not worth the hype. Came in on a Sunday at 3pm expecting an average crowd. Thankfully we put our name on the waitlist virtually ahead of time because it was a 75 minute wait. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The foyer of the restaurant was a mob scene with an unbelievable amount of people coming and going. It felt like we had floor seats to a concert.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Once we finally were seated, at a table that was definitely not large enough for our party[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive (reason for 2 stars) and the bread was obviously delicious. However, everything else about our experience just wasn't up to par. The steaks were very bland for the price, [[HIGHLIGHT]]we were squished at the table, and the restaurant was a zoo.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Probably will never return to this location unfortunately.

    Cynthia D.

We called when they opened & said we had a party of 11 & we wanted to come in for dinner & asked if they could seat us & we were told "We can accommodate you" exact words. The man said to call an hour before we were to arrive so they can reserve "the table" exact words....the TABLE. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We got there & the put us in 2 seperate back to back booths, not a table & we had 2 seperate servers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When I complained & said that it was my son's 37th birthday & if they couldn't seat us together, why didn't they say that either time we called? The manager offered to seat us diagonally across the aisle from each other but that we'd have to wait & see if they could manage it but sitting across an aisle (with servers & people walking by) was not a better option so we declined. I would have walked out but it was impossible since we all came in different cars & it was too late to try to find somewhere else that would have a reservation for a party of 11. (Plus my 77 yr old sister has a walker & oxygen she can't stand around waiting) The manager then offered to comp 2 of the 5 appetizers we ordered (appetizers we had to pass back & forth over the back of the booth walls so we could all share) my sisters walker was out in the middle of the floor & we were so cramped at each small booth. Just say you can't do it if you can't do it. Why lie? I guess because they knew we'd have to stay just as we did but thats just poor customer service......If they saved the seats 2 booths back from us, against the wall, we could have had a side by side situation that would have worked but the idiot that decided that 2 back to back seperate tables was a good idea should be fired. We had a bill of over $400 & she comp-ed 2 appetizers?!? It was insulting. So my son sat at the booth with his friends & the family sat together at the other booth & I couldn't sit with my son on his birthday. Nice. We used to dine there at least once a month (a family of 6 adults) but since they ruined a family occasion by not being honest & telling us we couldn't sit together we wont be back. Yes, we would have found another restaurant for the party but would still have continued to visit monthly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The photo shows the ridiculous choice the restaurant made & they thought this was a good idea?!?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The the 11th person (from our 2nd booth) was taking the pictures.

As we walked in, it wasn't too busy, we got a table right away. The interior looked super pretty with brick wall background, tables and booths for dining indoor. They had outdoor seating available too. The menu had lots of interesting Mediterranean dishes. We started with the grilled octopus that had delicious seasoning with mix of olive oil and red wine vinegar. The complimentary bread was fluffy, accompanied perfectly with the octopus. The branzino was a flavorful filet, well cooked. The side of spinach was well made too. I loved the lamb kokinisto (from specials menu). The meat was so tender and the sauce was incredible. I just kept taking bites and eventually finished the whole bowl. At the end I took the rice pudding to go and loved the taste of it. Our server Stephen was super nice, paid full attention to all his tables. He told us about the specials of the day from which I actually found out about lamb kokinisto. The appetizers came out quickly but the entree took some time since we had ordered branzino and lamb. They add 3% surcharge for credit card, so take cash if you want to avoid the extra fee. When a customer is served food that is clearly unacceptable, I would expect management to take the situation seriously, check on the customer, apologize, and make an effort to correct it. When I told my mom where we were going her reaction- "omg that place is still around?!? It use to be excellent back in the day!" Well I am happy to report this place is just as good today as it was during my mother's heyday. I decided to get a few oysters and clams to start off with and everything was just so fresh. As an entree the Seafood in a spicy red sauce was easily one of the best I have had in a very long time. There was a generous amount of seafood within the dish, the sauce I swear I could just drink it out of a cup and the pasta was cooked perfectly. My husband got the bbq ribs which I didn't try but you could see how they just slid right off the bone and he couldn't stop talking about how good they were. We ended our meal with some strong espresso. I enjoyed how it is a very casual atmosphere with a nice bar area that had a few TVs to watch some sports games. No need to dress to impress. The service was a little bit on the slower side but the waitress was very nice. The man who brought out my oysters, I asked him which were the east coast and which where in the west coast oysters, along with asking him where in the west coast my oysters were from and he couldn't tell me. I just think a place should just know these things is they are selling them. Nonetheless we still really enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to return.

Upon entering this casual vibe, we were greeted by the host. There is a lively sports bar side full of TVs and a dining room side, where we got a booth immediately by the window. Their menu has a wide array of options, rivaled only by the countless photographs and mementos that fill nearly every inch of wall space. There are many sandwiches, a half-dozen salads, thin-crust pizzas, and a substantial range of pastas. For starters, we decided on two dozen East Coast oysters on a half shell and Steamed Mussels with white wine butter broth. A side of Italian bread was brought for dipping. We had a large group, and they seated us at 2 separate and crowded tables in the side room, which was less than ideal (with a reservation). It also got really hot because the room was packed. They were pushing us to order everything family style, but everyone wanted to order individually. The two of us weren't super hungry, and asked for our entrees to be on a separate check before ordering, which they would not do. Since I knew we were going to end up splitting the check with the one table, I ended up getting a more expensive entree to make up for the apps and drinks we weren't having (I already had a drink from the bar and my husband doesn't drink). I settled on the special lobster carbonara (which I think was $75). Good, but overpriced. My husband had the filet mignon - it was cooked as requested but we prefer more seasoning. A friend passed her grilled scallops over to us to finish - I took one bite and it tasted like ammonia. I discreetly spat it out. For her sake, I hope the rest didn't taste like that. The atmosphere was loud and hard to have conversations. They did a conga line around the restaurant later in the evening. Not really my scene. Service was slow and it didn't seem like they could handle big groups, even when split up. We ended up staying here for about 3 hours. We ended up leaving before we were even offered dessert. Also, keep in mind they have valet parking.
