This review is about hospitlity. The food was fine. I got together with friends to play music for a few hours on Sunday. When we were done chose to go a restaurant as usual. We choice Texas Roadhouse. It was 22 degrees wth strong winds outtside.. We went in and asked a table but there was a waiting listt so registered and stepped aside. Shortly an employee ask what we were doing and we told her. She you can not wait here, you will have to go outside to wait but you can wait between the doors. It was stone cold there because what heat was there wasnot enough. They should have used overhead radiant heaters indsraead of a small space heater. This is a management issue not an employee. They failed to provide for people waiting. In does not seem a covid thing because the entire restaurant was packed with little distance to spare and had no problem lettting those waiting to be packed in a small room between doors. It was frigged out and their hospitilty was poor. We decided not to return in the future. read more

I placed a to go order over the phone. When I arrived, I was greated by a very polite and upbeat young woman named La'Kayla. She went and checked the status of my order, came back and informed it would be a few more minutes and asked if I'd like to pay then. I paid and waited patiently and as La'Kayla stated, my order was done in a few minutes. She reviewed my order with me, informed me of what was in each bag or container. Made sure I was happy and double checked if I would like or needed anything else. She was the exact type of person any company would be lucky to have as she was polite, attentive and on top of all the things needing to be done for her job. I've eaten at many other locations and never had this type of experience. The food as always was perfect and delicious. I ordered a meal for takeout after a long day of work. Walked in and stood around for 10-15 minutes until someone appeared to take my order. After a chaotic mess of placing the order I drove home. When I arrived home both my entree and the second entree were missing our sides and salads. I called the restaurant and spoke to a manager who apologized and would give offer a coupon to my email for a free side if we would give them a 2nd chance. Me and my girlfriend decided to use our coupon and also buy two more delicious steaks to take home after work. She placed the order over the phone and once I arrived I noticed that I never recieved the coupon I was promised. No big deal, the manager seems like a nice guy and told me he would throw in the missing salads from yesterday into my order! Sweet! But when it came time to pick up the order they then tell me that they cannot find the order and I should check the other location to make sure I didn't place it there. How a big franchise can fail to take down an over the phone order is beyond me. If you're ordering out, good luck. Hopefully your salads and sides aren't missing, or your entire order like mine was. The first handful of visits to this location were good, even great experiences. However, over the course of the past few weeks, it seems that service has taken a downturn. In this instance in particular, I placed an online carry-out order. Upon pick-up - which was ready when I arrived at 9:30 - I found that the order was missing the salad, a side of ranch with my order, and my fiancé was given an incorrect side. After having the salad added to the bag of food, I was told that the dressing in my salad looked like ranch so the hostess/server went to the kitchen to grab a side of caeser dressing. This was incorrect and I felt badly having to ask her to go and get a side of ranch as I now had two sides of caeser. The thing that I found to be most disappointing was that the half dozen rolls that I ordered upon arrival were completely burned to the point of being inedible. This is the best part of the meal! The food is okay but the rolls are what we legitimately look forward to. We sincerely enjoy having our date nights at this Texas Roadhouse location but the last couple of visits have left a bad taste in our mouth and we will likely make the trip out to the location off of Airport Hwy. should we choose to have Texas Roadhouse again. read more

Not impressed. I've ate at this restaurant on more than one occasion. This was my worst experience so far. The waitress (Brandy) did not seem real enthused with her job. Even though the shirt she was wearing said "I love my job". She brought us menus and told us where the drinks were located left immediately and did not return for 15 minutes to actually take a drink order. When we asked to order our food at that time it seemed like an inconvenience. She offered an up charge for loaded mashed potatoes which I agreed too. But when I asked her why they didn't come out that way she stated I didn't want them even though she had billed us for them on the receipt which I asked her to change. My wife's food came with the wrong sauce but at that point her attitude was one one we did not wish to converse with. Got here right when they opened on a weeknight. Highly recommend doing that to get in on the happy hour menu! Monday thru Friday until 6 and Saturday until 2 they have several $8.99 deals. This location is a disaster. We were greeted quickly and sat. Our server was very nice as well. We order a vodka tonic double and a skinny margarita and tater skins. Took a bit to just get our drinks. Once we did, the vodka tonic was weak and margarita had sprite in it. The manager re made it without sprite. If you order alcohol, stick to beer. Our appetizer arrived with our food and was just thrown on a plate. Poorly presented and hardly any bacon on the half we requested it on. The food arrived without the right dipping sauce. Thought I would give this another try as the last time my husband and I were there, the sound level was unbearable. This time it was me and my son, since my husband will not go in there, and it was worse than I remembered. I just don't understand why they have a need to be soooo loud! And they turn up the music occasionally when it's time for the servers to line dance ("if they're not busy" per our waitress) Don't go there if you hope to have any conversation with your table mates. As for the food? Each had a filet and while they didn't warrant being sent back, they were not worthy of the price. I would not recommend the Toledo location on Secor Rd. We placed a to-go order of $80 plus and they left off multiple items; as we live 20 minutes away no one wanted to return to the restaurant to try to get the missing items. WORST PLACE EVER! Would not come here if this was the last place to eat on earth! Staff is extremely rude, I've been to many Texas Roadhouses establishments in my life, and the this by far is the worst. I walked in and the lady had a really bad attitude with horrible customer service. We had a party of 9 which, I know is a lot. We asked if we could sit together and they put half the party at one table and the other at another part of the restaurant. There were at least 6 other booths that were empty nearby and the lady said a party that big can't sit together or near each other. I asked them why and said it was their "policy". We were told 1 hr 20 mins. We waited over 2.5hrs and just kept being told your next on the list. When you walk in they also removed 2 perfectly good tables for a on deck area so when you are next you have to come sit in an empty booth with no table. Absolutely fantastic experience! As a former resturant employee, I tend to be a tad critical of service and food quality but I was pleasantly surprised with the over all experience! From the start, the hosts were very friendly - greated us when we arrived and thanked us when we left! The entire time we were dining, I did not see a single employee without a smile on their face! The food runners were even enthusiastic and friendly! Our server, Jazzmin, did an amazing job as well! She timed our entire meal perfectly - within seconds of us finishing our appetizer, the salads arrived and again, within seconds of us finishing those, our entrees arrived! (Which were also fantastic, by the way!) I am not typically a person to leave reviews but I thought that an experience that nice warranted some positive feedback! I know that this location has just opened so I sincerely hope that the employee morale and enthusiasm stays at the same level as it was on this visit. We will definitely be back! First and last time to go to a Texas Roadhouse. Food was ok. The server tried her best. But oh my God - was so noisy. Then they turned up the music so the servers could dance. Every 5 minutes was a birthday celebration where they yelled like it was fun. Went last night and still have a head ache. Again, food ok. But the floor was covered with it as well. WHOO-HOO!!! I'm getting hungry just thinking about this place! Wow, what great rolls and butter, I could literally eat 20 of the rolls, and the butter that goes with them......AMAZING!!! I love the atmosphere at Texas Roadhouse, goes so well with the food that is served. The saddle they bring out for a birthday is super cute. When you first walk in it's kind of like a meat store, where the meat is in a glass display case with the name above the actual piece of meat. In my opinion, that is such a good idea!! I really don't know a lot about different cuts of meat like sirloins, t-bone or ribeyes. So I wasn't a hundred percent sure on what to order. I ended up ordering a 8oz ribeye cooked med rare with a salad and a baked potato, YUM! My fiancé ordered a bigger ribeye and we got our son the steak off of the kids menu(bad idea,I'll explain soon). My meal was glorious lol, super delicious, I already had eaten a million rolls but the meal was so good I ate all of it when anywhere else I wouldn't have been able to do that. Then again, I never would have eaten that much bread, well maybe at Olive Garden haha. The steak was cooked perfectly, I do however suggest you do not use the steak sauce that is already on your table but instead wait and ask for A-1 or Worcestershire sauce or whatever your into but I really would NOT use that sauce. It is N-A-S-T-Y!! Not even exaggerating... well maybe a little but no it's gross. The salad was the best side salad I have had a restaurant in a really long time, super fresh veggies and they put hard boiled egg on it and the ranch, wow, the ranch is amazing!!! I would totally have a ranch fall /water fall thing at my wedding if I could use there ranch, that good! The kids steak off the kids menu wasn't good at all, my 6 year old is a super picky eater (like most 6 year olds) but he lives him some steak. The steak was super, super well done, very rubbery and hard to bite into. I know some people say cook it well done for kids but let's get real, super well done over cooked steak is disgusting, so he ended up eating off of our steaks. He's lucky we shared lol, just kidding! He did love his fries though and this boy is a French Fry connoisseur! The service was also very good, timely and very nice!! All-in-all it was a great meal and great time. My grandson, a elderly friend and myself visited the store on Secor Rd in Toledo, Ohio on 4/2/22. My elderly friend arrived 1st and put our names in to be seated and was told 15 mins before we would be seated. I arrived 10 mins. later, we waited an additional 20 mins then someone asked had we been assisted, we said yes and she went to the counter and asked if we had a reservation, we said no so we were asked to wait in our cars. We asked how long before we were to be seated, she checked and then said I guess your table is ready now. Once seated the waitress came right away. Because we waited so long we ordered our meal and drinks which was water, raspberry tea, and an apple juice box. Two of the drinks came we thought she forgotten the straws and the apple juice because she walked away after putting them down, when we saw her again she was serving someone else. We asked for straws and cutlery because we had none. We had no other contact/conversation after we received our food until I asked for boxes. Boxes were brought and 1 min later the bill, was not asked if we wanted refills or dessert. I di give her a $2 tip on my $41.00 bill and my elderly friend gave her a $2 tip on her $16.00 bill. That was my worst experience that I have had with your restaurant. I haven't had this much fun at Texas Roadhouse before. Our waitress Claiborne was absolutely the funniest and the best waitress we have ever encountered at a Texas Roadhouse. She was joking around and made the table laugh each time she checked on us each time. Claiborne was fast getting our drinks and food. I couldn't stop eating their rolls and their peanuts, they were super delicious. Their food tasked very good, and it was out fairly fast. The atmosphere is a Texas style restaurant with southern music. Texas Roadhouse is very close to many hotels and department stores, and you are able to walk to them. On the weekend you should call ahead to be placed on the waiting list. I highly recommend coming to this Texas Roadhouse. The place was very well kept up, the floor was clean, and the exterior was great also. read more

Great reasonably-priced steakhouse Every time we go to Texas Roadhouse the food is good, the staff is efficient, and the prices are reasonable. We usually get seated quickly even if they're busy, and they seem to be rockin' most of the time. I'm not a big fan of the overall Country n' Western theme, but have yet to be disappointed there. read more
