I normally have a great time here, but today was different. I ordered some ribs that never arrived, and we noticed that the portion sizes were downsized to an excessive amount. I wouldn't have minded as I was still full, I know that the economy isn't the best, but they still charged me for the ribs and had a bugger of a time getting that off of my bill. It was 11.99 and then they refunded me 8.99 and then 2.00. Being a math teacher, I know that is still not 11.99, but I was tired of dealing with it. I was rather disappointed about the whole ordeal. Also, I was ok waiting for the ribs, but they seemed to be trying to push us out as quick as possible. Please just do better next time, I don't get out much and this kind of ruined the experience. read more

Advised our waitress of my dairy allergy and ordered accordingly. Our waitress, Laura, was careful with my selection even double checking with the kitchen to make sure my dinner would be dairy free. However, when my dinner arrived, the server, not Laura, did not ensure my dinner was free of dairy. The kitchen staff had put butter on my vegetables. And because the vegetables were served in a small cup, I was unaware of this until after I had taken a forkful of vegetables and consumed them. We noticed the melted butter at the bottom of the cup. Needless to say I spent 10 minutes vomiting in the bathroom. The worst part - Texas Roadhouse didn't even comp my meal. I didn't expect them to comp my husband or daughter's meal, but to charge me for a meal I could not eat, and to spend the next 24hrs sick and unable to eat, you would think they would've at least offered to pay for my meal! The wait went from 15 minutes to 45 without being told. Then was told that the server we were going to be sat with they said she couldn't handle a group of 7. And a group of six that came in 10 minutes after us got seated in 2 minutes. Take care of your patrons. read more

The food was wonderful. The service was excellent. We got there around 8 pm ordered our food got our beverages. While we were eating one of the staff decides to sweep our section closing isn't until 10 pm we are eating our food while she's sweeping carpet! Particles flying through the air near my steak is a good thing. This is this only issue I had. You don't do this while people are eating! Especially paying for food and service. That is just tacky. I'm sure they did see it that way. Hopefully they read this and this will help the business tactics. read more

Terrible dining experience. Visiting from California and looking forward to a good filet. Dinner came out and no salads were brought. Sent my food back and asked to have fresh entree after salad was served. Waitress asks why I'm sending entree back. Duh I want my salad then my dinner. Manager comes over apologizing said my entree will be made fresh and after my salad it will come out fresh. When I'm done with salad my filet comes out and everything on the plate is cold. We've never been disappointed when dining at the Texas Roadhouse. Since we sat at the bar top, we didn't have to wait to be seated. Their famous hot rolls were presented as we were getting settled in our seats. Michelle was tending bar, and greeted us immediately, handing menus to us. Although she was extremely busy, she was quick to fulfill all the customers' requests. House salad to start, and it was chilled to perfection, and SO tasty. Our dinner arrived just as we finished the salad, a juicy ribeye cooked medium rare and those fall-off-the-bone ribs. Everything was perfect. Staff was friendly and quick to please everyone. Had an excellent experience all around here. Waitress was superb as the entire staff. We had steak, smothered chicken, shrimp and chicken fried steak. Everyone was happy with there meals. They have a few up charges on mushrooms and potatoes that are loaded, so be aware of that. Dad was there for his 85th birthday and he's still talking about his fun experience! Our waitress Tess accused my family of not paying and had her manager bring us back in the restaurant. Incredibly embarrassing and I regret leaving more than a 20% tip now. Honestly the worst. My friend and I both ordered a salad and she got hers and I didn't. I waited ten mins and then asked about it and the server said that they were out of lettuce. Okay solid. So I got a loaded bake potato and he brought out mashed potatoes :|. Oh well man shit happens but then there was hair the corn and in the mashed potatoes. This was our second time eating at this chain. Unfortunately this experience was not as good as our first. Both of our loaded mash potatoes came out cold. We asked our server for them to be reheated which she assured us they would be. After waiting for 15 minutes for the new potatoes and never seeing our server, I requested to speak to a manager. The manager apologized and put a rush on the potatoes. Since my filet had been sitting for 15 minutes she offered to have the kitchen reheat it on the griddle. When the second round of potatoes came out, they were once again cold. Due to the reheating of the filet, my medium rare was now well done. The manager apologized and took care of the bill and offered to make it right by offering us entirely new plates. We were done at that point as it was late. The manager was terrific at trying to make the situation "right," but the kitchen was off tonight. read more

We had gone to Texas Road House on a Thursday evening and ordered Prime Rib, Fliet and Herb crusted Chicken. The prime rib was very undercooked and cold and had been sent back to the kitchen and was brought back but was almost like it just sat under the heat lamp. The Fliet had also been seriously under cooked and had been sent back. The chicken was very very dry and plain. We had also had two other meals with steak frys but they came Long after our meal was delivered. Plus the meal had taken a lot longer than it should have. Overall there was horrible service except the waiter was awesome but the other service was very bad. We do not plan to go back to Texas Roadhouse soon read more

I love Texas Roadhouse. At Westminster Maryland. We've been to road houses in at least 10 different states. I hate to say it but Great falls Idaho was one of the worst. The rolls which we love they were hard and doughy and cold. The house salad which is usually really good because of the blue cheese. The blue cheese has been thinned down so it's kind of terrible. I can't blame Great falls for this as it has been happening in other road houses. I ordered a 10 oz rib eye. They brought out a prime rib. I ordered a beer and they kind of forgot it but 15 minutes later it finally showed up. I usually get to sirloin but decided to upgrade to the ribeye. It was grizzly and not too tasty. I'm kind of disappointed. The problems that I see at this Roadhouse is that they're not acting as a team. They asked if they could give us other rolls so he asked for rolls and butter. They never came. So kind of sad that a good restaurant can go bad. read more

We waited over two hours to be seated, which was fine because it's a new place to eat in town. I was so excited to order my steak. I had looked forward to it all week. When my steak arrived, it was overcooked. I told my server, and she reassured me that it would be fixed right away. I waited more than thirty minutes for my steak; when it came, it was not grilled correctly, and my sides we not even right. To say I was disappointed was an understatement. They did take my meal off the check, but by this, I didn't even want it. I left hungry and disappointed. read more
