Had dinner at Texas Roadhouse recently and the place was very busy. We were told that there would probably be a wait of about 25 minutes. Nope, after less than ten minutes we were told that we would be seated. Their hostesses and servers have a great process to communicate status of the tables in a pretty large restaurant. Our drink orders were taken as we sat down and shortly our server was there to take our dinner orders. The entire meal was very well done. All of our entrees and sides were done to a T. Will definitely be back when in Weatherford. I only deducted one star because of the background noise and it really isn't the restaurant's fault. Terrible experience! Bad management! Was so excited to go here with my family to celebrate my grandpa's bday and it was a complete dud. We got here on a week day right when they opened to avoid the crowd. They were not busy and they sat our large (extended) table right next to another couple instead of spacing us out at least one row. All the sudden the lady at the table beside us starts coughing & hacking up her lungs uncontrollably. We were all disgusted because it was over the top & she wasn't covering her mouth. She did not stop coughing and when our food came a few of us moved to another booth (about 2 rows away) because we were grossed out & one of us have serious health issues & are more susceptible to sickness. Well, that was the biggest deal to the employees and manager. They were going to charge us with 2 different tips and the other waitress didn't ever check on us. They were not busy, were not filling up the tables, and were not sympathetic to our concern. They treated us very rude and we are good tippers, friendly, and easy to deal with. We are all very unhappy with how they handled this situation and the management style was very poor. Won't be back. read more

My 1st time here. Had lunch at Texas Roadhouse in Weatherford yesterday with my nephews. Very good service. Overall it was a great experience, especially getting to hang out with my best buddies (my twin 15 year old nephews) The rolls were warm, soft and pillowy goodness, the butter was so tasty (do I even need to say that). The cactus blossom was hot, crispy and oniony deliciousness. My salmon was flavorful and tender, the lemon pepper butter added just the right amount of acidity and spice. The cup of chili was really good, with lots of big chunks of beef throughout. The whole group chose green beans and they were scrumptious, with the smoky flavor of the added bacon, mmmmmm mmmmm good. My nephews steaks were cooked to the exact temps they requested and they both said their steaks were super easy to cut and chew and full of flavor and melted like butter in their mouths. Also, the blue crush lemonade I had was very good. I love the tang of lemonade with the sweetness of whatever the blue was that was added. I got to enjoy a great lunch and goofy conversation, in a great atmosphere with my little buddies that I haven't seen in a few months. Our food orders have ranged from burgers, chicken, salads and steaks. all have been pressed very well and tasted great. Have been a somewhat frequent diner here over the years, and have seen the place evolve/devolve. Last trip, was deliberately and repeatedly ignored at the bar, despite the fact that I eat there frequently, and leave generous tips (and I mean 30% sometimes) but when the food arrived, it was great. Steak done just right, sides were well furnished. Was pissed at the bartenders, so left them a $6.66 tip to make a point (tip for service, felt bad but they went out of their way to be discourteous). Went again just tonight and found the bartenders much more agreeable (different set) , but the salad arrived with a hair in it, and the baked potato had only a passing acquaintance with a heating element. Steak was sub-par too. Told the manager about the hairy salad, and he promised to make them wear their hair nets. Good for him. Guess if you don't enjoy the company, and the food sucks, there's no point in going back. If you go in, check the food for those little 'extra' ingredients, expecially if youve had a run-in with the bar staff. read more

Heard it could take 45 minutes to get a table because of popularity but decided to try it anyways... so glad we did! the bar was open for full service so that is where we went... Locals were thrilled to have a new place to eat! It's not easy to get into this place because they are always so crowded. So we waited patiently since opening to find a time they weren't slammed when we were out and about. The disappointment is real. Every dish and utensil brought out had dried on food from not being cleaned properly. Stop blaming covid for poor service. You cannot continue to serve people on dirty dishes and expect to retain customers. I would much rather have waited an extra 10-15 minutes for PROPERLY WASHED DISHES than to be served with someone else's leftovers stuck to every single dish that was placed on our table. My husband and I struggle with this place. Sometimes we get an amazing server but usually it's someone super average. We've had our share of just plain bad experiences too. So, I'm giving 3 stars; it should be 2.5 to truly be average. The food is usually good(; though the kitchen staff usually send the steaks out a little more done than ordered. I've started ordering rare steaks to get a medium rare one delivered to the table. It mostly works. Sides are almost always good and hot; though. We almost never get sat down with the fresh rolls like they used to. They usually don't have any made up when we come; but we don't need any anyway. But I know many people like them; so be ready to ask your server for them because if they didn't give you bread when you sat down; your server probably won't notice. Beverage refills are hit and miss. Sometimes they get refilled; other times it seems we're only allowed one glass of tea. Fine in the winter, but in the hot Texas summer a refill is appreciated. Usually it's towards the very end of our meal that we get asked if we'd like a refill. This last time it was as we were paying the bill. So we Love getting to go eat at Texas Roashouse in Weatherford, Texas. The wait staff is very good. One night after we got off work, we drove over for dinner. We were waited on by one of the Best Wait Staff People Ever. His name is Bronson. We are so pleased and happy to have Bronson wait on us. So now when we go over, we ask for him by name. Bronson is kind, very nice, always has a big welcome smile on, and greets you like you are family. This young man is just the best. So when you order, he will ask how would you like this item? Do you need this, would you like something to go with this. How do you like your salad? Can we add this and would you like that also? He will tell you if he has tried like the Ribs, or a Steak. He politely ask if you need sauce on the side, or gravy on the side. Absolutly makes your dinner the best ever. It not only taste great! It's brought to you just like you like it. The orders are always correct. You never have to ask for anything, he is on top of your order. Making sure it is perfect. Your glass never runs out, because he is checking to make sure your dinner is amazing. We are so happy to have had Bronson wait on us. Overall I would give Texas Roadhouse a 1 due to lack of servers being attentive to their tables. It took 10 minutes for a server to come check up on my table after I sat down. I understand, maybe it being their opening week, but for the amount of workers they had no one bothered to stop by and check on my table. I ended up going again for a second time and sat in a different spot it took so many attempts to get the servers attention. As someone who has work in the restaurant industry and was a server this was unacceptable! None of the managers checked up on our table as they usually do per road house policy. Just looked at us and walked by. When I got a hold of a manager to let them know about my food. I had a medium rare prime rib with onion and mushrooms, paired with a house salad and corn. This is the best steak I've ever eaten, buttery smooth and full of amazing flavor. My wife had the country fried Chicken and it was perfectly tender. Full of flavor same as the steak.
