I never expected to write a review for this restaurant. At least like the one I'm currently writing. I ordered a ribeye steak which was a treat being on a fixed income.. The steak came out with more grizzle which is the arch-enemy of any denture wearing senior. This is where a negative experience is transformed into a vey positive one. The waitress saw I was struggling to chew it no matter what end I attacked it from. This server came over in an apologetic tone informed me that she was going to get me a better steak which she did! Then the manager came over to apologize for my experience with the first steak. Get this! She even gave me a discount on the second steak. Talk about making lemonade out of lemons. The staff were all outstanding, professional and very cordial. The lesson is that a negative experience can be material for a very positive one. Longhorn you remain my favorite steak place. People shouldn't expect perfection. It's what they do when they are faced with adversity. My hat goes off to the female server and female manager! You both done good!. read more

We have been to this location a total of 3 times.Our first time was so long ago I can't remember,second was fine .3 rd was underwhelming to say the least.We walk in around 4 pm,Not very busy .We are hit with a foul smell .I turned around to my daughter and Boyfriend and said "what is that ?" They smelled it too .we were seated and We often drink water with our meals do to trying to limit soda/tea caffeine instale.So we all order waters .It just went down hill from there .Our waitress asked us if we need bread .I found it odd .why would she ask us if we need free bread .I have never been asked that before ,they just bring it when the bread is free .Then it picked up and got a little busy .Which means service for us got worse .We never received refills and she just seemed uninterested in waiting on us .Finally we asked for dessert to go she brought back our to go boxes (for my boyfriends very undercooked bloody steak ) that our dogs enjoyed at least .And no we didn't complain about it .I mean at that point we just wanted to go home .We felt unwelcome and almost like we had to beg for service .She brings the to go boxes and didnt really say much .was she taking it out on us because I said I smelled something awful ? Or because we ordered water ? I can't say I enjoy LongHorn Steakhouse. After all it's owned by Darden Restaurants. I'm not a 'steak' type of gal. We came for a birthday celebration here and I ordered what most of Yelp reviewers recommended as the salmon dish. I was hoping to enjoy it but it wasn't everything and more. Which makes sense why the seafood maybe wasn't as great as maybe the featured item of steak. The customer service here was good. They gave up complimentary ice cream for the birthday celebration. We ordered the lava cake at the end but we weren't big fans as it was too sweet for us. For a steakhouse it was alright. Just didn't live up to the other restaurants I have had with similar items on the menu. read more

Well now that was an interesting dinner. While we were seated right away we were out in the far corner ear the restrooms. It wasn't so much where we sat but our server who appeared to be either high or drunk, but I'm going with she probably was on the gummies. She was on the boarder line between rude and dysfunctional. Many times she would walk tied us then turn around like she didn't know where she was going. She would walk up between us and the table of 2 next to us and say something like, "is everyone good" then turn and walk away while saying it and not giving either table a chance to answer. She would plop down drinks or food and walk away. She was just weird to say the least. I will say that our meals were as good as always and prepared the way we ordered them. I looked for the manager on the way out but didn't see anyone who appeared to be in charge so we left. I guess that I could have asked to see the manager but decided that it wasn't worth it. My wife and I came from a funeral and needed comfort food. The restaurant in Westchester, Ohio did not disappoint. I had the ribeye and it's one of the best Ribeyes I've had in a very long time. Went here for a quick bite before getting an errand done. That was a mistake. They were basically empty and I understand why. The staff in the kitchen all were very loud and just hanging out. Probably because, well, almost no one was there so I guess I can't blame them. I ended up getting the chicken somethings. The first one was good but after that they were soooo salty. I ended up wiping the salt off as much as I could with my hand and even used a napkin. The filling while decent had no chunks of chicken at all. It was basically a paste, I dont know, honestly. They tasted like they were frozen and then dropped in the fryer and rolled in salt. Basically, they were fancier taquitos (which hey, they're good sometimes) with alot more salt. Stopped in with the wife for a nice steak dinner, we had drove by it and always forgot it was here. I'm glad we finally came in! We normally go to Outback, and even stopped in to Roadhouse, but this place blows them out of the water. This location has a very classy feel once you go in, it felt like you were at a higher quality restaurant. The staff was very nice, welcoming and helpful, the menu has a lot of choices and I hope they're all as good as what I had. I ordered the Full Rack or Ribs, with a side salad and lobster & shrimp bisque soup. The soup was delicious, with chunks of lobster and shrimp in it. The salad was large and fresh. Now the Ribs were fall of the bone tender, meaty and reasonably priced. The only thing was that they were a little salty, it could have been a mixture of the dry rub and the sauce. But other than that it was very good. My wife got the NY Strip, which was amazing! I'll definitely have a steak next time, but I'll also try the ribs again later, maybe it was just that night that was a skittle salty. If you're wanting a delicious steak for a great price this is a good place to stop by. read more

Family order 3 take out dinners. Each with a sweet potato. Asked for butter and cinnamon sugar. Upon arriving home found we had received the sweet potatoes with sour cream and chives. Receipt showed "Sweet potatoes with everything." Called to say what was wrong with the order and spoke to manager on duty. She stated that "everything," was sour cream and chives, which we didn't ask for. She apologized and stated that most people order sweet potatoes with everything. She then stated she would give us credit for the 3 meals. We called 5/20/2025 to take advantage of the credit and we're told by the manager on duty, that when an order is wrong they send an email gift card. We stated that manager didn't say that and stated she would make a note. The manager on duty then stated they would have to call the manager we'd spoke to find out what happened. Call was placed on hold and when they came back stated that the manager vaguely remembered the call and that they would only replace the sweet potatoes. Call concluded when manager was told that our family would no longer be eating at Longhorn. Manager's response was have a good night and hung up. read more

We had excellent service and food while dining here to celebrate my Dad's birthday! The 22 ounce Porterhouse is amazing! The steak was grilled perfectly to medium rare and the seasoning was fantastic! The loaded baked potato, bread and house salad with ranch were also delicious! We also tried the Grilled Chicken and Strawberry Salad and it was outstanding! The salad had grilled chicken over field greens with fresh strawberries, grapes, mandarin oranges, candied pecans, red onions, feta and a raspberry vinaigrette! They brought out a complimentary birthday sundae to celebrate my Dad's birthday! We also ordered the Chocolate Stampede for the table to share and it was definitely a chocolate lovers dream come true! This has been one of our go-to places for many years. Our first visit was probably 10+ years ago and my wife had a coupon in her purse and when we went to pay the bill, the waiter returned with the coupon and apologized, but this coupon was for LoneStar Steakhouse and then said, the manager wants to offer you double the coupon's value and thank us for coming to The LongHorn Steakhouse. I came here for dinner with my family on Mothers day. We called ahead to get on the list and was told 20-25 minutes, we arrived and checked in and still waited 20 minutes. Did I mention it took 15 minutes or so to get to the restaurant. This is the reason for the 4 stars. We all ordered a drink and two appetizers. Which came out fairly quickly and with tasty. Emma our waitress was amazing and she did a wonderful job of taking care of us and making sure our drinks stayed full and getting our order correct. It did take a while for our food (main meal) to show up, but I account this to being mothers day and 3 in the afternoon. Longhorn is always our go to restaurant. We eat there often. Today we ate there and I ordered wine. I was told the only red they had was a Pinot Noir which I ordered after looking at the price for the Noir. $7.99 for short pour and $10.49 for the long pour. They brought the wine which was in a very small glass. It probably was four ounces. When I got the bill, they charged me $10.99 for the wine. I thought they charged me for the long pour. What I found out was the only red wine they had was the a different Noir which was $10.99 for short pour and $13.99 for the long pour. Our waiter was exceptional. Our food was good as usual. But paying $11 for a little glass of wine left a bad taste in my mouth. Pun intended. It's a shame management can't stock the wines on the menu. My total bill was $94.10 including the tip. read more

In the past this has been a good experience. But, Last Friday after my wife finished half of her ribeye here mouth started burning (as in hot pepper burning). I tried a couple pieces and 5 minutes later my mouth was still burning. It kind of crept up on you. The waitress told us that the cooks had recently been "retrained" on how to season the steak I assume by by corporate. She said that the lemon butter seasoning on top should counteract the heat and brought out more to put on the meat, but it did not work. This was not ordered blackened by the way. Beware!! I order from Longhorn pretty regularly. The restaurant is usually pretty consistent no matter the location, however today when ordered our Sunday dinner takeout (I had my usual Parmesan crusted chicken) my chicken was very watery. I didn't want to waste my food so I poured the water out of the container and tried to eat it but something was just off so I ended up just tossing it. We started the meal off with complimentary bread, onion chips and stuffed mushrooms. The presentation was very appetizing and everthing tasted as good as it lioked. Our server, Rachel, was fantastic! Good food as expected. Flo's fillet is our go to at Longhorn and it was done correctly and of good quality. Other sides were as expected. Server was attentive and not hovering. The atmosphere was chaotic and noisy with a party of 10 seated nearby. Servers has to crawl around the table and a high chair at the end of a booth.
