First time at this location and they did not disappoint. Even though the restaurant was busy the food came out in a timely manner and our waitress was very accommodating. I'm glad I was able to give this location a try.

Food is always amazing here. The Shrimp and lobster soup was great. The appetizer Wild West Shrimp was great. The shrimp, rice and broccoli was tasty. The chicken tenders were perfect. I love it here. Will definitely be coming back.

Steak yummy in my tummy. The New York strip was seasoned well. The kids steak was very chewy but still good. I recommend the New York strip over the kids steak. The fries were seasoned well. :)

Very salty and no chunks of chicken

Went here for a quick bite before getting an errand done. That was a mistake. They were basically empty and I understand why. The staff in the kitchen all were very loud and just hanging out. Probably because, well, almost no one was there so I guess I can't blame them. I ended up getting the chicken somethings. The first one was good but after that they were soooo salty. I ended up wiping the salt off as much as I could with my hand and even used a napkin. The filling while decent had no chunks of chicken at all. It was basically a paste, I dont know, honestly. They tasted like they were frozen and then dropped in the fryer and rolled in salt. Basically, they were fancier taquitos (which hey, they're good sometimes) with alot more salt. Overall, a bad experience and while I don't know exactly how much they were I know they were more expensive than they should have been. Edit: I do want to add the bartender did a good job.

12oz NY Strip, with a side of fries.

Stopped in with the wife for a nice steak dinner, we had drove by it and always forgot it was here. I'm glad we finally came in! We normally go to Outback, and even stopped in to Roadhouse, but this place blows them out of the water. This location has a very classy feel once you go in, it felt like you were at a higher quality restaurant. The staff was very nice, welcoming and helpful, the menu has a lot of choices and I hope they're all as good as what I had. I ordered the Full Rack or Ribs, with a side salad and lobster & shrimp bisque soup. The soup was delicious, with chunks of lobster and shrimp in it. The salad was large and fresh. Now the Ribs were fall of the bone tender, meaty and reasonably priced. The only thing was that they were a little salty, it could have been a mixture of the dry rub and the sauce. But other than that it was very good. My wife got the NY Strip, which was amazing! I'll definitely have a steak next time, but I'll also try the ribs again later, maybe it was just that night that was a skittle salty. If you're wanting a delicious steak for a great price this is a good place to stop by.

Now THAT is extra butter! Yum!

Amber made our whole experience awesome. Intuitive, bringing Stella knowing my husband would love it. Extra butter really meant extra butter.

The 22oz Porterhouse cooked medium rare is magnificent! The steak was grilled and seasoned perfectly and it melts in your mouth!

We had excellent service and food while dining here to celebrate my Dad's birthday! The 22 ounce Porterhouse is amazing! The steak was grilled perfectly to medium rare and the seasoning was fantastic! The loaded baked potato, bread and house salad with ranch were also delicious! We also tried the Grilled Chicken and Strawberry Salad and it was outstanding! The salad had grilled chicken over field greens with fresh strawberries, grapes, mandarin oranges, candied pecans, red onions, feta and a raspberry vinaigrette! They brought out a complimentary birthday sundae to celebrate my Dad's birthday! We also ordered the Chocolate Stampede for the table to share and it was definitely a chocolate lovers dream come true! The tasty dessert had 6 types of chocolate and vanilla bean ice cream with a total of only 2,460 calories!!!

The menu includes LongHorn Salmon. I asked our waiter to find out what a LongHorn Salmon looked like. He had the chef draw one!

It was like a small city that I had never heard about. There were so many stores and restaurants all around. The atmosphere was amazing, there was a celebration in the square for Juneteenth and the live band and singers were wonderful. The food at Cowboy Sallys was delicious. I got the Coca-Cola Short Ribs and they were so good. The mashed potatoes were creamy and the short rib fell apart like butter. My friends each got a sandwich and they loved them. We ended the meal with dessert, their bread pudding and chocolate lava cake. They were both delicious, and the cake was nice and warm. Our server told us that the lava cake is supposed to come with ice cream and they ran out, so she took it off our bill which was very nice. While the service was very kind and welcoming, it was a little slow. Our server took a while to come to the table in the beginning and was somewhat absent during the dining experience. The host came over to take our order because she was busy. But they were both very nice when they did come to the table and chatted with us. Overall it was very fun and the food was really good, and it was the perfect night with nice weather and live music not far away.

Lots of black, blue, darker colors, but nowhere near as macabre. Pleasant, though. We were given menus, cool, leather bound mini binders. (These are way different than other pics from earlier reviews) Really neat selection of house drinks (adult beverages) wide selection of Bourbons, whiskey and tequila. My wife got the Berry Naughty, (see menu pic for description) Evan waited on us. I ordered the Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich, Hickory-smoked pulled pork + Tangy Carolina gold BBQ sauce + Southern slaw + House pickles + Cowboy Crack Sauce + Buttered brioche with fries. It has coleslaw and their special Cowboy Crack sauce on it. The pulled pork was cooked well, huge amount of meat. Definitely not shredded, but pulled apart. A few chunks were at least 2" in length and about 1 1/4" wide. Also, it comes with a boq sauce already on it, besides their special sauce. My preference is the pork has no boq sauce on it but it's at the table to add if it's needed. But, gotta say this, HUGE amount of meat, and a tasty bun. Fries were good, but not spectacular or special. Their ketchup has some kick to it, so that was pretty neat. But, my taste buds were almost confused with the special sauce, the bbq sauce and then the ketchup. My wife ordered the Coca-Cola Braised Short Rib Slow-braised short rib + Coca-Cola reduction + Buttery whipped potatoes + Smothered green beans + Crispy tobacco onions. Next time I may order that. I tasted the meat and mashed potatoes, yeh, really yummy! All in all, a good night, really good service, not too noisy, nice decor (several lights looked burnt out in a corner chandelier and a a dark evening, it would be difficult to see a menu. Just sayin') Not a big drinker but definitely a large selection of adult beverages. Would definitely make it a fun evening. Yeh, warrants a return visit with friends!!

I've eaten my way through every smokehouse in Cincinnati, so when I say Midwest Best BBQ is the real deal, believe me. My arteries are practically Yelp-certified. The team of servers and cooks seems like they recruited an entire football team of young men from the University of Cincinnati; service so fast you'd think they were running a two-minute drill, attentive enough to make your mom jealous, and coordinated like they're protecting the quarterback only this time, the quarterback is your pulled-pork sandwich. Their wings, rubs, and sauces? Every single flavor profile was so good I nearly proposed to the coleslaw. And don't get me started on the G-Funk wings. They're delightful, though naming wings after a rap genre means you half expect Dr. Dre to hand you wet wipes. And let's talk about the smoking schedule. They've got a night smoker and a day smoker, which sounds less like a BBQ setup and more like a buddy-cop movie: "Day Smoker plays by the rules, Night Smoker breaks 'em, but together they deliver justice... in the form of brisket." Mark, one of the owners, literally smokes meat during a half-day shift with the love and passion of a Michelin-star chef who moonlights as Cupid. This guy makes ribs like he's serenading them. If Hallmark made a "Brisket Romance" channel, Mark would star in every single movie. I bought several pounds of meat to take home. Not "a pound." Several. Because nothing says "self-control" like hiding a bag of smoked chicken behind your kale in the fridge. Exclamation point. Period. Now, location... ...here's the kicker. They're hidden off the road over a hundred yards. That's right, it's the Area 51 of BBQ. You basically need Google Maps, a Sherpa, and divine intervention to find them. Yet, somehow, when you do, it feels like stumbling upon the Ark of the Covenant... ...only tastier, and fewer Nazis melting. Inside? Casual. TVs locked on Bengals or Reds games, so you can watch disappointment while you eat happiness. Patio? Shaded. Perfect for when you want to sweat from the hot sauce, not the sun. The sides? Top echelon. Beans, slaw, cornbread, each one a little sidekick to the main meat superhero. And for the low-carb crowd, this place is a protein paradise. Keto bros rejoice: you can bench-press your brisket guilt-free. Bottom line: Midwest Best BBQ doesn't just feed you, it baptizes you in smoke, sauce, and joy. And if you're not leaving with meat sweats, did you even go?
