Our server was by immediately. We ordered coffees and waters and we shared the Bacon Cheddar Cheese Omelet for breakfast this morning. Our server keyed our meal in as Split, so the kitchen split our meal into 2 plates at no extra cost loved that. So our breakfast and service was good. Didn't have the luxury to actually eat at TGI Fridays, since our layover was getting shorter and shorter. But they have an Express, a station where you can get various meals to go: sandwiches, packaged salads, drinks. In another area, they actually have packaged hot sandwiches, so I grabbed a cheeseburger and my husband got a bacon chicken sammie. We also got some water. Pricey, as you find in an airport. Customer service was fast, the guy who helped us could have been friendlier, but he was efficient, got it done. Was the cheeseburger the best I ever had? No, but it wasn't the worst either, same with the sandwich my husband hot. A great way to grab something hot to eat for lunch if you don't have time for the actual restaurant meal. We ate by our gate and made it to boarding on time! Good save! read more

Anytime we fly early, we come here for breakfast...b/c the bar opens at 7am and why not. It's not always this specific location, but whichever Fridays is located in the terminal in which we're flying out. I love their seasoned breakfast potatoes. This time I had the BELT sandwich. At DFW to catch our flight and right down from the gate is TGIF and just about the only thing open. Were shown to a table and my Wife and I ordered the same thing - "BACON & Cheddar Cheese Omelet" - 3-Egg Omelet with seasoned Country Potatoes and Toast with Jelly. Had time before our next flight to have breakfast in the Dallas/ ft. Worth airport. After a short walk we found TGI Fridays that was open and seating available. Our server quickly took our drink order and was able to have a nice table to people watch while we waited for our meal. TGI Fridays had several breakfast options and went with the French toast and steak and eggs. French toast was a little undercooked for one of them but overall good. Steak and eggs were seasoned as expected and a decent portion for the price. Tables were quickly cleaned as customers were also looking for a meal between flights. Overall a good experience for the amount of time between flights. Would come back in the near future for other connecting flights. read more

Stopped at my favorite spot during my layover in Dallas Fort Worth--TGI Fridays! I'm still heartbroken they closed all the locations in Northern California, so getting to enjoy it here felt like a nostalgic treat. The food was everything--that Jack Daniel's sauce is STILL undefeated. Please consider bringing a location back to NorCal. We miss it more than you know! By Gate C7. I came in here at 9pm, and had until 10 to get food and beverages. The hostess sat me right away (lucky, because it's one of the few open places that have both food and drink). My server Jason said Hi immediately and that he'd be right with me. The two other servers in here were similarly responsive as I saw others sat, both ladies never stopped moving and were friendly and professional with their tables like Jason was with me. My first choice drink was out, but my server recommended a replacement. Ordered the southern chicken sandwich with a side salad. Salad was... a salad salad. Lol. No complaints. The chicken sandwich was great. Light and crispy outside, moist inside. The avocado was sooo creamy and good. It hit the spot, and I was finished by 9:45. I ONLY took a star off because of the design. It's a shotgun straight through, and you KNOW so many travelers have their giant roller bags clogging up the walkway. And I've been backed up into by the inconsiderate people sitting at the table behind me. It just needs more room. Stopped by here for breakfast during a layover. Not doing that again. The food was decent, but beware of alcohol prices. Nearly $17 for a glass of mimosa (which was not even fresh squeezed orange juice)!!??!? They list prices of food on the menu, but not of drinks. I guess now i know why. It seems like a bit of a scam. Aside from that -- Food was decent and similar to what one would expect for a chain restaurant. The southwest veggie omelette was enjoyable. Ambience is what you'd expect for an airport chain restaurant. Not bad, not great. My one recommendation if eating here is -- ask about drink prices before ordering. read more

Went here during our transit in Dallas airport and ordered a grilled chicken burger and cobb salad. Salad: looks pretty big and has many things on it. Love the freshness but they could soak the onion in cold water for a bit to reduce the bite of the onions. I went on a flight with onion breath Burger: buns a little too sweet for me but I love the avocado they included in the burger. Overall it was a nice service, good salad, but the grilled chicken texture is weird..... maybe almost like a rubber? It's not too bad considering we're in an airport. read more

My server, Lauren, greeted me with a smile and promised not to let my Bloody Marys run dry; and boy did she deliver! I ordered the wing combo/sampler plate (mainly to keep my buzz under control) and it paired nicely with one of the better Bloody Marys I've ever had in an airport. Prices were decent considering the location, in one of the country's busiest airports, but the atmosphere was comfortable, relaxed, and had a pretty chill vibe. As far as the actual wings, they were standard Fridays fare; a little overdone, but full of flavor and an aspiration to be more than food for the soused. Absolutely delicious. Not sure if the three Bloody Marys helped with that or if they tasted as good as I remember on their own; I was already more sauced than the wings when they arrived to my table. Overall, a great experience at a great location with an excellent sever who got tipped generously, but probably not enough to compensate for the grouchy travellers she encounters on an hourly basis. I'm not exactly sure what kind of angel Lauren is, but bless her soul. I was having a long travel day - missed flights, delays, weather cancellations, luggage transfers (you know the vibes), so naturally human interaction is what I don't want and food and relaxation is what I need. As I sat down in Fridays, Lauren with the sweetest smile complimented me (mind you I've been traveling and at the airport for 12+ hours - so you know not the cutest). Her compliment completely changed my mood and outlook on my current situation. Her compliment warmed my heart. She reminded me that everything will be ok and all work out, no matter what. Our short conversation was so meaningful to me, as if the universe/ God was listening to my prayers and heard my stressors. Her colleague Randell was also so sweet. He also chimed in and reminded me of how powerful gentle compliments are to both men and women. And how powerful one can be to the world, how truly important little things are. Service was terrible. Honestly, it took almost 15 min to get water and that was after another server was able to get our server. Then we finally got water after another 10 min. Got food (both of us got French toast and it was delicious). Then she quickly said " pay with cash pay me but CC use scanner on table " and then she left. We had to try and wave her down after another 15 min to get the check. And she said "'oh you are paying cash?" I wanted to say " if you would have asked how we were paying you would have known". I know traveling can be crazy and I understand busy times. But this was at 7:30 in the morning and really unacceptable. I've ordered from here four times ultimately I'm done after TODAY. I ordered the employee meal: a hamburger, medium well, with all the veggies, fries, and a sprite. The wait time was ten minutes and that was perfect but the fries were cold and the sprite tastes like seltzer water. The customer service from the lady (older women, I want her to get her props) is always great and pleasurable. She repeats the order to make sure it's right and she is very professional. After another 15 mins she was still on her phone and not even attempting to take my order. She was very rude to the lady next to me because she didn't know how to do the pay at the table feature, lamenting on how much of an inconvenience it was. We had a two hour layover and decided to kill time by eating here. It was one of the only restaurants open at 8am. We sat on the side that was located more on the outer side on the airport. It was perfect view to people watch. Our waiter Edgar was awesome! He was super fun and made our experience very enjoyable. The mozzarella sticks were delicious! So happy I ate these first thing in the morning. All of our food was tasty! I was very impressed with the service and food, despite reading some of the other views. I think I've been to this one before. I end up going through Dallas airport often and with a layover I'm always looking for a place to sit downtown. A TGI Friday's really does the trick. Especially this one. I stopped in today. It took a little bit, half the tables are blocked, but once I sat down all was good. I got service immediately and got more order in pronto. The house margarita was solid. Well mixed. The right strength and bitterness. The potstickers came out soon afterwards. Wow they were far better than I expected. The server has said it was her favorite and I can see why. It came out fast and was very satisfying. I hung out for a while, waiting for my next flight. Being in a T.G.I. Friday's was a classic way of feeling relaxed and going back to a time when things were simpler. On spectrum of Friday's or just airport stop in this one is solid. read more

I arrived at about 8:20pm and noticed pretty much all of the restaurants and shops were closed. I came upon TGIF and luckily they were open and packed! I only waited a couple of minutes and thank goodness they directed me to a high table where I could put my backpack and items in one chair and sit on the other side of the table. I ordered the pot stickers to start but they came out with my meal. I still ate them first. They were hot and fresh with a nice portion of meet inside and the soy sauce was great, too. I ordered the Wings Roulette which comes with 15 wings, and your choice of 3 flavors. I chose Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Sauce, Garlic Parmesean Sauce, and Apple Butter BBQ Sauce. Most of my wings came as legs, there was one that wasn't a leg but I was happy. Also I think I got 17 or 18 wings instead of just 15. The sauces were all great and there was ample sauce per wing. I would definitely try this again, the Wings Roulette was $17. I also had unsweet iced tea with lemons and sweet & low. My waiter was perfect always there with a refill and anything else I needed. Service is decent but food...Not So Much! Got the "NEW" Thai Salad" w/chicken. Thought "HEY" it's new what can go wrong. Everything, soggy soft lettuce and basically all the lettuce was so small it looked like the leftovers in a bag of salad that was at the very bottom. Just to put it bluntly. Chicken looked like it was dehydrated and placed in the microwave with water to bring it back to life lol . My martini was warm and we all know martinis need to be chilled with ice crystals floating.
