Well again for the folks that follow me know I'm not a big chain restaurant person, so this is another rare stop. We happened to be in the area and was recently given a gift card, so today was the day to use it. First: the service. We had Corie today and she a nice job. Checked on us 4 maybe 5 times. Very friendly and pleasant young lady. Now the food: Maybe a month or so ago we visit the Chesapeake Virginia location and I actually had the same thing. The Cajun shrimp and chicken pasta meal. A nice little meal and a decent portion. Now they provide one breadstick with the meal. I really think they should up their game a little bit not so much this particular restaurant, but the chain as a whole, they probably should provide 2 of these if not 3, to allow the customer to soak up the sauce and actually fill the diner. They wifey today had a Whiskey Burger with fries during this visit and liked it. As for the location: again it is a chain joint and each one is nearly exactly the same. Appeared clean overall. The men's room could have used a bit of attention. Not nasty but clearly staff haven't checked on it for a bit. Sad the customers can be nasty. Of course I could have mentioned it to staff but I didn't. So I would not have a problem eating here again. I think you will have a nice little meal if you visit. Ps. Need to give "tighten up" to the company though. This did not effect rating but earlier in the morning, we attempted to check the value of a previously given gift card. The big problem was this. You go to the back of the card it directs you to either a phone number or a website. So when you call the phone number, you get no reply other than go to the website. So when I tried the website, it directed me to the same phone number that sent me to the website. Then we attempted to "chat live" with someone and then that said no available agents. To the corporate folks you need to tighten up on that that was ridiculous. Fortunately, enough again, my sweet server took care of us at the restaurant and checked our balance. read more

Visited this TGIF this afternoon with the family, what we ordered vs what we got was different one example was a mock-garita that literally came back as a glass of orange juice with salt on the rim, sent it back once I tasted it was plain juice and salt, it still was put on the bill. Had to asked to not get charged for a drink I did not ask for or drank. We also ordered Nashville hot wings got signature glazed instead, asked for sliders with a side of broccoli got fries instead, ordered a burger with no cheese and got a burger with cheese. The restaurant was about a quarter full and it took about an hour to get our food. read more

Very nice free standing restaurant with ample parking. Nice decor and excellent service, despite being understaffed...they worked. They separate the full bar & sports tv screens from the eating area. The food was very good, but we were surprised that there wasn't a selection of lunch specials. The full meals are a bit much for lunch. read more

It is so sad to see when a business is struggling ...but there were still some positives about my experience. I was not greeted by a host, me and another party were left just hanging out by the front entrance until a staff member noticed us and said, "oh, you can sit at the bar". I replied back that I was not going to sit at the bar with my 11 year old child, to which I was told it would be 15 more minutes before I could sit on the restaurant side. This was certainly not due to the lack of available tables, but likely was due to a shortage of servers. A server interjected at this point and took us to a table and apologized. Despite being triple sat, our server was attentive, apologetic, and welcoming. We had a positive experience after being sat and our food tasted good and was presented well. read more

I placed an order on April 26 at 8:45pm through the Fridays App for a delivery through GrubHub. By 10:00pm, I still hadn't received my delivery, so I checked the App, only to see that the order had been delivered. Unfortunately, the order was not delivered to me. I called my Midlothian Fridays and spoke to a Manager, who informed me that she would refund me the money and told me to reorder, which I did, because I was hungry...it's now 10:13pm, so I placed and paid for the order again thinking it would be handled...because I'm a LOYAL CUSTOMER. At 10:33 I receive a text that my order was delayed and would be delivered between 11:33pm and 11:48pm. I checked the app to cancel, but because it was placed as a delivery, POLICY SAYS, delivery orders CAN NOT BE CANCELLED. So I waited for my delivery, which was finally dropped off at my home at 11:45pm...a full meal, originally placed at 8:45pm. It has now been almost a month (a full month in another 2 days) and I still have no refund for my order. Since that time, I have talked with several managers at the location, and have sent 3 complaints to the Friday Company through their website, where I am now being ignored by their representative, Cristalyn (Friday Guest Relations). In a time where everybody is counting pennies (or nickels, dimes, and quarters) I should not have to continue trying to get a refund for something they told me would be handled! As I am retired, and living on limited income, I cannot afford, and should not have to go through this...FRIDAY just LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER!!! read more

Management needs work. If a restaurant is barely busy. Many waiters employed, there is no reason to sit around for 10+ minutes no server. That is when I leave. Better management would save the struggling TGIFs read more

It's been a long time since I had gone to this location and tonight I remembered why. It took 20 minutes to get our first drinks and another almost 25 minutes to get our food which was horrible and overcooked. The spinach artichoke dip tasted like it was out all day.....just bad all around. The service would have been better if the rest of the group supported him. Server brings drinks and appetizer out then continues to chat to other staff and ignores that we still have not ordered but then proceeds to take another tables order who came in much later then we did. 40 minutes later, still haven't ordered. Needless to say we paid and left. Time management skills and priorities have left the service industry. This Fridays will be out of business like the rest of them. read more

Went here with some friends from high school . I had a great time but the food could've been better . The drinks were amazing ! especially the alcoholic beverages we all ordered . I went causal with my meal and got Shrimp Alfredo & unfortunately I could not finish it. It wasn't what i expected, could've had more flavor etc . My friend ordered some chicken tenders and fries. Her tenders were so hard . we thought she was being dramatic until we all tried pieces and could barely bite through them. Tonight was not a decent experience from the start of coming into the Building and having to wait at the front recep, we were lost as to if we should walk to the Bar or seat ourselves. It was not a short wait either any facility that has no reception/ Host at the front or anyone to Greet you give you acknowledgment at a customer service facility over 5 Min is very unprofessional.! We finally get seated although waiting for a Martini was a wait as well I will say that Martini was was Delish it was a watermelon lemon Drop Martini, and our waitress was very nice I did not get his name but he was young , I believe he had Dreads or braids very Nice Boy, He did state it was his first Day at Work if so i Do not understand why he was left alone to waitress Tables, I do understand hands on learning or on the spot learning but supervisor should have been there at least ‍, from our time waiting to receive food we seen 2 other groups come in which both had the expieence we had they had to wait at the front and like us kept looking around corner waiting to get attended , I would say maybe this location or all TGI Fridays are best for maybe just a Bar night after 10pm seems no one was really interested in working, after seeing this and waiting for our food we decided to leave after just our drinks read more

It's absolutely freezing inside. It's only 76 degrees outside and I was told there was nothing they can do because the building is 25 years old and it takes 14 hours for the temperature to cycle to a warmer level. They also said the kitchen is too hot so. Maybe it's time to upgrade the hvac to a multi zone unit instead of making custo.ers freeze read more

Me and my husband came here on Super Bowl night. The restaurant was super empty but the bar area was full. The manager and the waitress were super nice and kept checking on us. They have a deal going on now 2 appetizer, 2 entree and 2 desserts for $20 which no one can beat. Will definitely be coming back to take advantage of that deal before it goes away. read more

I was rather irritated with the bar staff tge early evening that I visited. The reason was. I sat at the bar no person seating near me not was the place busy at all. It took more than 5 minutes for someone to great me , give me a menu and take my drink order. After my beer arrived, the lady went back to the other end of the bar. I waited patiently. I drink half of my beer. I was irritated with the lack of attention give to a customer during these still hard times. I do not know if people do not know what good customer service looks like. 1st time at this location. I like the separate waiting area for to go orders. But just like the Midlothian location; the phone ordering is not the best. Why us it that the initial person who answers can't take the order and just pass it on to a waiter or directly to the kitchen. I waited on hold for like 5 min as I was in route to the restaurant, which was about 20 min away and they would have had smoke time to prepare my order if someone had picked up the line. Came here after a movie at commonwealth 20. Nice atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon. My Boyfriend and I sat on the bar side to enjoy the specials. Enjoyed the wings, the Friday's Mojito and turkey burger with fries. Service was great however our waitress had a lot of tables on the bar side so we waited a little while for food and refills. Ordered take out via their website a week ago for my mom for her to pick up after work. Just found out from her that the burger was "hard as a rock" meaning overcooked when I had specified medium rare. And she said the cajun pasta's sauce was the consistency of water. The wings were good tho according to her. Maybe they don't have their usual cooks because of the pandemic, or maybe no one is overseeing the food going out but probably shouldn't order here until they get their quality back in order. read more

I have a love hate relationship with this place. Sometimes its good sometimes its bad. One time they under cooked my burger. And on several occasions they have overcooked the steak. The food is just okay but i like their jack Daniels sauce so I keep coming back for that and its an easy stop on this side of town to get a quick beer. It is great that TGI Friday's do the Beyond Burger. We do have to take off the sauce and cheese to make it vegan but we always add Avocado in place of the cheese. We visited this location of TGI Friday's for the first time in over a year, largely on account of the fact we received coupons in the mail recently. Upon entering we saw a place that was bustling with customers. We were seated promptly and the gentleman that seated us, also made sure we had drinks. After waiting for a bit of time, I stopped a waiter and asked who was serving our table. He went to the front and after another few minutes our server appeared for one of the few times during our meal. My son had the mac & cheese. We weren't asked about the side for him and I forgot to mention anything. My wife ordered the ribs with coleslaw and French fries, while I opted for the Chipotle Yucatan Chicken Salad. With the exception of the French fries, which were served warm, limp and strangely dry, the meal was passable. The ribs were juicy but based on the color, taste combination weren't really smoked in spite of the taste. The Jack Daniels sauce served on and as a side to the ribs was serviceable, but not house rocking. As for the salad, it was served with chicken, avocados and tostados as the primary ingredients. It was satisfactory, but little more. If we had paid face value on the meal, it may have been difficult to justify three stars. However, at 29 dollars for the three of us, which is comparable to an outing to a coffee/sandwich establishment, it is a 3 star meal. read more

Cool atmosphere with live music. Not to loud either. Service was very good. Jordan did a great job. Food was alright. I ordered the Buffalo Wingman's Burger: Blackened beef patty, Buffalo pimento cheese spread, spicy Tabasco mayo with burger set. Top that off with two crispy Buffalo wings right on top of the bun. ($12.50) I asked for medium and got well done. Their wasn't much flavor going on with that blackened patty. The pimento cheese stood out the most. The burger had a perfectly preformed look to it and I prefer my burgers hand formed and fresh! The seasoned fries were tasty. My wife ordered the Bacon Burger and her's was over cooked as well. Same shape though! Lol. She said it was just average. We'll probably come back for the atmosphere and try something else. read more
