I am visiting my family on Paso and I drove by this place on my way to run an errand. Thai BBQ sounded yummy to me. I looked on Yelp to see the positive reviews so I went inside and hey greeted me right away and handed me a menu. They have a ton of different selections. I ordered the chicken and shrimp pineapple rice to go with a side of spring rolls. She asked me if I wanted the dish spicy and, I said "yes". She was very nice and professional. She then asked me if I what level of spicy I wanted the dish. I love extra spicy. My order was ready in 10 mins. When I got home and opened the container, I couldn't believe how amazing the food looked and tasted! It rice was nice and spicy, he food was still hot and very fresh. The meat tasted amazing and there were tons of veggies and some cashews, pineapples.... My mom had already had dinner but, when she say my food, she had to have some bites. She loves the food too. This place is amazing I've came here 3 times this past week ! I always get their pad Thai and red curry . A full order of each with honestly last two or three days so you really get your money's worth ! I also love their thai iced tea however I noticed I always get very small size maybe I have to order large because I've seen others get bigger ? Oh and don't discourage their pho . Their pho is amazing and the broth is so flavorful it's incredible . I asked for extra veggies and they delivered at no charge at all oh , and door dash actually delivers this place ! We were in town last year for few days and I was craving for Thai yellow curry and Thai iced tea. My husband is not s big fan of Thai food but he agreed to drive me to pick up my food to make pregnant wifey happy. Once we got to the cafe, the place surprisingly was packed so I thought their food must be good! The cashier was nice and attentive and made sure all of my order was in the bag. When we got to our hotel, I enjoyed my dinner by the pool and I'm so glad I did because their mild spice actually packs a punch! My immediate thought was "holy Molly, this is spicy for milks, they're not joking!" The Thai iced tea was delicious and it helped ease my burning tongue. Overall the food is great. We enjoyed Sunday lunches here a couple of times recently. The food and menu are very similar to Thai Elephant's (in Atascadero). Thai BBQ's atmosphere and ordering process is more like a fast food restaurant. We received our freshly prepared food quickly and it was excellent and price was very good too. Oh my God you have to come here just stop everything you're doing and come here if you like anything about Thai food. I know that everyone has their special Thai food place that they go is the best and right on let it be, however please come here and try everything that they have to offer. I come once or maybe twice a week. The folks at the front counter are very kind and very helpful as a vegan they give me the papaya salad minus the shrimp and add extra papaya..... So so so so so good and I usually get Pad Thai and they work around the vegan parts for me and it's very good. Drunken Noodles I died and gone to heaven. If I'm in the mood for Pumpkin Curry that one is amazing too and there is a Thai chicken noodle soup that they can do sans chicken and the broth is a vegetable broth so they add some nice chunks of potato or anything that I ask for. My wife likes to switch it up a bit she used to be an only green curry kind of girl but now she's branching out she always gets the pot stickers which I think is because she knows that I can't share since they have chicken in them. And then she bounces back and forth between the Pumpkin Curry and the Thai red and green curry. We stumbled across this place a year ago. We eat a lot of Thai food, so I can tell a good place versus a really great one. Thai BBQ and combo is where you want to get incredibly tasty Thai food when in Paso Robles. The food is truly outstanding! Everything is always so fresh and flavorful. I especially like when it is served Thai hot, but they will prepare it any way you prefer. We stop here every time we drive through the area. With so many places to eat in Paso, it is really something that this is always our first choice. You won't be making a mistake if you love great Thai food.... my highest recommendation. This place is one of my go to's for take out. The pho is delicious and one of the only places in Paso that I know of that has this dish. But there Thai food is also scrumptious as well. I often grab something on my way home because it is an easy on off to the freeway. read more

The food is here unbelievably good. There's no Pho like the one they serve here in the central coast! The curry soup is amazing. The flavors of this restaurants foods make my heart skip a beat. No stars!! First time going and I have to say I was very disappointed in the quality of the food and the service was horrible. The cashier got our order wrong, and she had a bad attitude. She didn't smile once when we were there and I'm never going back to that restaurant. I ordered crispy shrimp, and cheese puffs as my appetizers and crispy orange chicken as my meal. I've never before had Thai food and seriously I was looking forward to trying something delicious and new. I looked around and everything looked great in the pictures.
