The plastic was crushed, rice falling out from bottom.

We were craving mango sticky rice since my girlfriend is from Thailand. We ordered mango sticky rice via grub hub after reading all the rave reviews of their mango sticky rice. The plastic container was crushed and broken on bottom leaving plastic bits in the food. We called the restaurant and they said it was probably the drivers fault. But still for a $9 dessert with $5 in fees, it just wasn't worth it, especially since there is always someone to blame.

8/12/23 Shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce ordered(to go with lunch). The service wasn't very kind or welcoming. Hopefully the spring rolls are good! Paid for the ordered and waited until it was ready! Luckily, the worker got much better! Said order was ready and handed it over with good day wishes. Think you! Pretty empty restaurant. They don't have it set up to eat inside. Pretty messy. Chairs stacked up.....just noticed leaving....take out only sign. FYI! Lunchtime! Order split The shrimp spring roll with peanut sauce was ginormous and really good! It was fresh and delicious and the peanut sauce made it better! Mother said hers was really good too! Turned into good service at the end and really good shrimp spring rolls!! Recommended!

This is my second time ordering from TC. My first time was a few years ago. I ordered two orders of sticky rice for pickup. Once I got there, she told me it was almost $20 I asked her to repeat the cost because I was shocked it was so pricey. I figured it was around $10 or so. If you've ordered rice before, it shouldn't be that costly. I decided to give TC a second chance. I went on their website prior to placing order over the phone for pick up. I ordered Mongolian beef for $13.99 (states on menu on website) and asked if rice came with it. She said yes. When I got there, my total was $18.xx and told her to keep the change from a $20. Not only was it not $13.99 but look at what I got! Did not taste fresh at all either. Not going there again. Lesson learned.

    Spicy chicken lunch

Was good, but I ordered during lunch the spicy chicken with sticky rice and it didn't come with a lot of meat at all. I'm a lite disappointed bc normally I get something from Bowlzeye next door and was expecting around the same portions. It's still good though

Fried Whole Tilapia Tom Yum Seafood Soup Pineapple Fried Rice Steamed Rice Egg Rolls

All the items we ordered were so dry, had definitely been cooked way ahead of time and reheated in a microwave. 1) Pineapple fried rice: completely dried out with pieces of chicken meat too tough to chew. 2) Steamed rice: also dried out from being microwaved. 3) Fried whole tilapia: the tilapia was small. The veggies in the green curry covering it were soggy. 4) Tom yum seafood soup: the flavor was good but it contained very little seafood. 5) Egg rolls: practically empty inside! We ordered delivery. When it arrived 2 of the styrofoam containers had leaked. They need to make the delivery orders more secure. We will not be ordering from Thai Chili again!

Since I'm in the Clovis area more often these days. Each time I get gas in the same plaza as Thai Chili I decided to give this Thai place a shot as they had pretty good reviews on yelp. When I entered I was instantly greeted by a woman. She asked me if it was for there or to go. It was Togo so she gave me a menu and I instantly wanted to see if they had ground chicken Thai Chili Basil which is my all time favorite Thai Dish. To my surprise they had it! So I ordered their Ground Chicken Thai Chili Basil, Pineapple Chicken Dish and Basil fried rice. I am not a one to eat Pineapple in my meals unless it is a dessert or snack separately but the boyfriend likes incorporating it in his meals. And I got egg rolls. Anywho, the order came out fairly quick. I could not wait to dig in as the food smelled amazing. The Thai Chili Basil tasted delicious as expected and the Pineapple Chicken was not for me but tasted amazing according to the boyfriend. The Basil fried rice was a little greasy but flavorful. The egg rolls were delicious and crunchy. Overall, I enjoyed the meal and food. It is not the best quality of Thai Food I had but it does get the job done. Definitely, a must try if you in the area. I will be back if I am in the area and craving Thai Food.

Today I decided I was going to give it a try. I ordered the chicken and lamb rice plate and a chicken shawarma. Please keep in mind I have extreme bias from all the Halal Guys I've eaten in my life. I made an online order through Yelp and it took me about 9 min to get there and my food was sitting on the counter. There were two employees in the back prepping other orders and there was no one at the register. They didn't really acknowledge me for a min or two but they looked really busy. I saw my name on the food tag. So I picked it up and yelled "Hey is it cool if I just get my food" and one dude just looked at me and nodded. So I left. No biggie. Came to Halal Bros chasing the dream of Halal Guys... ended up with a very polite handshake instead of a warm hug. The chicken and lamb over rice? Solid "C+ student" energy. The rice was kind of there for moral support, and the white sauce tried its best, like a dad dancing at a wedding. The hot sauce was less "hot" and felt a bit sour. Now, the shawarma? Low-key the plot twist I didn't expect. Juicy, flavorful, actually made me pause mid-bite like, "Okay Halal Bros, I see you." All in all, it's a decent spot if you're nearby and hungry.

This original location remains my recommended spot for Mediterranean food. Many Mediterranean…read morerestaurants in Fresno County are Armenian-owned, while only a small handful--like this family-run restaurant--specialize in Lebanese cuisine. Lebanese food is widely considered among the best expressions of Mediterranean cooking due to its vibrant use of fresh ingredients, particularly herbs, lemon, garlic, and olive oil, along with a strong emphasis on healthy, plant-based, and grilled dishes. It offers diverse, shareable, and nutrient-dense options such as tabbouleh, hummus, and falafel, making it both flavorful and nutritious. I always enjoy dining at Golden Grill because they exemplify Lebanese cuisine so well. Their dishes highlight fresh herbs like mint and parsley, along with garlic and lemon juice, rather than relying heavily on spices. The result is a light, refreshing, and aromatic flavor profile that feels both vibrant and balanced. The kebabs are excellent. The grilled cubes of beef, chicken, and kafta (ground beef and lamb) skewers are flavorful, tender, and juicy, topped with herbs and grilled to perfection. They carry a subtle smokiness and savory aroma, and the meats are beautifully charred with vibrant color. Their pita and saj sandwiches are also very well done. Each sandwich is warm and carefully assembled, forming a sturdy pocket filled with high-quality ingredients. They combine savory meats (or falafel and vegetables), creamy sauces, and crunchy pickles and onions into a balanced bite. The bread holds generous fillings without collapsing while still being tender enough to bite through easily. The pocket opens cleanly, creating the perfect pouch for the ingredients. For a small restaurant with limited seating that appears to receive many to-go orders, the presentation for dine-in guests is especially thoughtful. The dishes are served on clean white ceramic plates and trays, with the food carefully arranged and portions balanced. It is simple yet elegant and visually appealing. Golden Grill also captures the Lebanese mezze-style dining experience. As someone of Korean heritage, I appreciate this approach, since it is similar to how Korean meals are served with many shared dishes that provide variety in every meal. Some of the shared plates include Lebanese staples like hummus, falafel, tabbouleh, baba ghanouj, and fresh flatbread. Everything here tastes fresh and well-prepared, with distinct textures and aromatic flavors. The signature entrées come with two cold appetizers. The hummus is silky smooth, a velvety blend of garbanzo beans and tahini that almost melts in your mouth. The baba ghanouj is creamy, garlicky, and finished with olive oil. The tabbouleh is bright and balanced with lemon juice, garlic, and a generous drizzle of olive oil that ties together the citrusy and earthy flavors. The restaurant itself is clean, with tables and chairs wiped down quickly after guests leave. Service is friendly, welcoming, and helpful when placing orders. Prices are also reasonable, especially considering many competing Mediterranean restaurants do not place the same emphasis on presentation or on creating a mezze-style dining experience at no additional cost. While some may prefer other Mediterranean cuisines, I personally enjoy the fresh, light, and diverse flavors that Lebanese food offers. Golden Grill's citrus-forward dishes and extensive mezze options make it one of my favorite Mediterranean spots.
