Good luck getting served within the last 40 minutes of operation. Hoping to place an order for take-out, I called several times on Sunday 8/7, staring before 9 pm but no one answered the phone. I drove to the restaurant, but the doors were locked at 9:15 when I arrived. I understand if the staff wants to go home, but the hours of operation are until 9:30. The most frustrating part is that I was ignored. The server looked right at me...then turned & walked to the back room while several others on staff sat & ate. Finally they opened the door to tell me that they are closed. Why post a 9:30 closing time if you're going to close at 9? That's too bad, because I was prepared to spend $60...plus a tip. And it would have been generous. Since I'm in the industry, I am not a big fan of negative Yelp reviews. And since this isn't the 1st time, something had to be said. read more

Our visit to this restaurant was surprisingly good. Thanks for you follow yelpers. The place does not look much from the outside, but it is nicely decorated inside. The food was great; and we did not have any problem with the service like other yelpers mentioned. The Yom Tom chicken soup was yummy. They have specials where you can get a drink (Thai ice tea, Thai ice coffee, or half price beer), soup and an entree for $13.95. Give it a shot and I am sure you will like it. read more

We found this place off online reviews and they were right. Thai Corner is a quaint little place located in a grocery store strip mall. The inside is tastefully decorated with Asian wood carvings, pictures and architecture. There are two big screen TVs that were showing World Cup Soccer during our visit. Volume was kept low. Service is spot on and very friendly. We've now eaten there 2 times. The first time we ordered to-go, but liked the ambiance so we dined-in on the second visit. We've ordered Chicken Satay, Chicken Dumplings, Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. Everything was great! It's nice to find a good Asian restaurant that's near home and not part of a tourist trap like The Spectrum or a food court. Already looking forward to our next visit. read more

Ordered tom yum soup, panang curry, fried rice and thai tea hoping it would be very good considering the reviews was praising this spot nicely, but I never would had thought it was actually average or even below average food. I have eaten at many Thai places all around California and this spot is actually one that isn't really that amazing. I understand that most Thai spots never really make their dishes spicy (even if you adamantly ask for really spicy) due to the problem of most people tend to overextend what they can actually handle, but this spot doesn't make their food spicy at all. I asked for my three orders to be their hottest level and if they could, make it spicier than that, but I was instead met with the Tom yum soup being really sweet, partially due to the large amount of tomato they add, and no spiciness to it at all. It was more sweet and sour rather than spicy and sour. The panang curry was okay, still depressing on the level of spiciness, which is non-existent, and the flavor itself was decent. They cooked the fried rice with a bit too much oil that you could see the excess forming a puddle on the bottom and coating the rice with a layer of oil. I don't know if that is how it is actually supposed to be at their restaurant, but most Asian restaurants that do cook fried rice aren't as oily as what I received. I don't think I found much egg, or if any, in it at all, which is a key ingredient in fried rice. The only thing that was actually good at the place was the Thai tea, which is free if you show them that you checked in and gave a review. Overall, don't hope for your food to come out spicy if you ask for it and just hope that it is more flavorful than sweet. But if you like your Thai food sweet but still contains the base ingredients of authentic Thai food, it is an okay spot to eat at. Big reminder, it is pretty pricey, around $12+, even if you order the lunch specials if you consider the quality of the food. read more

Busy place, perhaps too busy for the amount of staff they have. One person taking orders,the same person answering the phone and taking payments. She also serves all the tables along with another girl who didn't do much other than pour water.We waited a while for our food,It was good, really good! Worth every penny. My gf and I came into the store last weekend and we were very impressed with the quality of the food and the costumer service. Tried take out of the Pad Thai and the Chicken Satay. The satay was fine, the peanut sauce fine -- I've had better, but it was decent. The cucumber salad that came with it was blah. You could hardly taste any vinegar in it. The Pad Thai was bland, bland, bland. There were no discernible spices in it, nor were there any peanuts. Thai food is my favorite kind of food because of the complex flavors, but Thai corner fell far short of my expectations. read more
