I loved the duck! I've never had Thai before, I loved it so much! I would recommend this place! The waiter was really friendly and nice!

A friend recommended this place for its fabulous duck noodle soup. As I was having service done on my car next-door at Les Schwab seemed like a perfect chance to give it a try. Duck is only on their dinner menu, but I decided I would spring for it since I live an hour and a half away And could take the remains home. I am having the thick noodle duck and carrot dish with a flavorful soy sauce. Definitely does not disappoint and now that I know I can find a good duck dish, I will be back frequently when I make the epic trip to Cortez. It's a bit noisy, but I can survive with that obviously, that's a sign of a popular lunch restaurant they close at 2 PM and reopen for dinner at four.

This is one of my favorite restaurants (ever) but I got home to see this is how much duck they gave me for $30...,,I was so excited as it's one of my fave menu items but yeah this is a little crazy. Hasn't happened before and hopefully won't happen again!

Fabulous green curry. Well-seasoned, creamy, thick and the medium spice level was ACTUALLY a good level of spice. The service was fantastic and I would definitely come back. Nice restaurant with good vibes.

Tasty, fresh and satisfying Thai food centrally located in Cortez. We were satisfied by the ginger stir fry and the chicken curry. The sauces were balanced - not too heavy or light. And food tasted fresh and of good quality. Service was kind and quick. A perfect simple Thai dinner in Cortez.

Handmade crab Rangoons (4) for appx $12. Sweet/spicy sauce. A little doughy where the folds were but over all yummy!

So glad I came in for lunch! I ordered two lunch specials and one app for about $43 after tip. The food was fresh and fragrant. I could hear the wok in the kitchen so I knew it was going to be made to order. The dining room is clean and so was the bathroom. The servers worked well together and I wanted for nothing. I had the rangoons, panang curry and fried rick - chicken for both. Will order all again! Hope to be back soon.

    Fresh Rolls and Pho

I wasn't expecting fresh, good food. I had the fresh roll appetizer as my meal (I ate a few before taking pic). They were crisp and so good! I love peanut sauce and this one was like a dessert. Sweet and salty. I def order again. My parents each ordered pho, one chicken and one beef. They enjoyed each bite. This is a nice, casual, quality place.

WOW. Very glad I convinced my family to stop here, and I hope I can convince you too. We stopped in for their Lunch Specials, served from 11:30am - 2:00pm. The service staff was friendly, our food arrived promptly, and each of us were thrilled with the meals we chose. The lunch special was also served with a first course of a small salad, similar in flavor to the typical ginger salad at many sushi places, but with much deeper, pleasant flavors that I can't precisely name, but know they melded so nicely together. For whatever you order, various pepper sauces/oils are provided upon request for you to administer to your liking. Here was what we tried: Pad Khee Mao (Chicken) - 5/5 - Our server's astute recommendation among the noodles dishes offered for lunch. The best drunken noodles I've had, made perfect with the red pepper oil. Garlic (Chicken) - 4.5/5 - Delicious. Garlic was a bit overwhelming at the beginning (valid given the name), but the hot pepper oil really balanced it out. Fried Rice (Chicken) - 4/5 - "Good. Pretty tasty." - My brother

They really nailed the flavors and spice on the drunken noodle. Also, one of the best composed Tom Yums I have ever had.

Service was great- even though I stopped by close to closing, staff was so friendly and the food was still served steaming hot. I got the pork pad thai and it was below average. The pork tasted stale, rancid, and gamey. The dish noodles themselves were just ok. Ambiance was calm, servers were sweet. They only had one chef, didn't have sushi and a number of other dishes when I went in on a Friday afternoon, though. Not sure if it was poor timing or if it is usually like that. Bottom line: This may be a historically local favorite, but it is certainly not up to par with other places. Apparently the quality has gone down over the last couple years, unsure what changed. If you're visiting from out of town and are craving Thai food, go to Arches Thai in Moab, UT - WAY better food for similar price. It is worth the extra drive, trust me.

Though if you ask them, they will make it extra spicey just for you. So Pad Thia is not my favorite dish, too much peanut flavor not enough vegetables. But if you like pad thia I hear it is good here. I prefer Pad Se-iw. It has the same noodle base, but includes an assortment of veggies and a different sauce, it is hearty and filling. I also love thier soups on a cold day or if I am feeling under the weather. The Tom Kha Gai, is a coconut milk based soup with a lemon grass flavor, creating a creamy and slightly spicey soup. If a creamy soup isn't for you, I also like the Guay Tiaw. It's a brothy soup that has a bit more of a kick, I love this soup and it's something different yet familiar. The soups here definitely fall into the comfort food category for me, even though I didn't grow up with Thia food. So for me this is a "to go" place. I call my order in, yes thier menu is online, then I go get it. My order is usually ready when I get there and this is super convenient.
