Outstanding food! The pot stickers are a piece of work, and the Pad Thai was very good. Definitely will be back.

Today is not just about the restaurant. It's about an individual that works with the restaurant. PATTITA Is most amazing wonderful caring staff member of this restaurant. She sent me down made sure I had everything I needed checked up on me making sure if I need sauce napkins refill a great smile making sure the rest of the restaurant is clean . After I eat my dinner, I told her I enjoy doing reviews online that I need to know her name because I will be leaving a most wonderful review. She looked at me very stunned. Biggest smile came over her face. She asked if my name was Adam. My name is Adam once she knew that she was correct. She jumped up and down several times. Very thankful to me. Very excited to meet me. She believed I was. ADAM RICHMAN. At first, I did not know that she thought I was this man I did not understand she was too excited she took pictures of me. She was honored to meet me regardless how she thought who I was she still before she knew it treated me most excellent I was honored and happy this restaurant has such a staff member. I will be back there many more times I do actually go there to pick up for DoorDash and Uber eats. It's funny, she thought I was Adam Richman, and my name is Adam and years ago I actually drove him around in a limousine for a company that when the stars come into town, I was picked to take care of them. I hope he one day finds out about this, and he goes and visits her. It would be a great honor for her. At the time I did not know what to do I did not truly know who she thought I was I suspected because she said I have over 300,000 followers when I actually in Facebook I may have only 800 friends and I don't even know half of them. She was so happy that day I did not want to break her heart. Whoever she thought I was made her feel good and she should keep that with her. I did leave the restaurant called one of my other friends that DOOR DASHis and he told me that she believes from what he understands that I am Adam Richman. it's so crazy, but I could not tell her. I could not break her heart let her have her moment. I will let her know The next time I see her, I must sit her down and explain it would only be fair to her but I want her to know I feel very special not about her thinking I was him the way she treated me before and also the way she treated me after. On the plus side I enjoy the restaurant best Thai food that I have had in the area. From the restaurant staff they feel like family they care they take care of you. They keep it very clean. Also wearing gloves this place has been around a long time I even ate there when I was younger. I still have a picture of me sitting in a booth. I recommend this place to all, especially the people visiting Chicago at the hotel come to the restaurant or just order in.

Ground beef basil fried rice! So good and spicy!!

Food is always good and authentic here. The spring rolls are also soft with a crunch. Highly recommend

    Tom Yum Chicken - Large
    Natasha B.

Really enjoyed my meal here. The staff was amazingly friendly and observant on what we needed. The chicken Tom yum soup was really good- some of the best I had. Could have done without the tomatoes. The large more than feeds 3 people. Cashew chicken was good, chicken fried rice was good but would go for the curry or basil one next time. Egg rolls were decent- very crisp but inside could use more flavor. Garlic shrimp was surprisingly good.

The Din Tai Fung of Illinois is finally here!…read more My family and I have been chasing the high of Din Tai Fung's soup dumplings for years, but there has always seemed to be an absence of restaurants like this in the Midwest. Thankfully, Phat Phat stepped in to fill that gap. We drove 30 miles for a late lunch around 2:30 p.m. to hopefully beat the crowds. There's a huge parking lot in the back, the building itself is incredibly unique, and the interior is absolutely beautiful. It feels modern while still being warm and inviting. We wanted to try a variety of dishes, so we ordered two baskets of the Shanghai Soup Dumplings, the Enoki Mushroom appetizer, Chicken Fried Rice, Phat Phat Chicken, Nasi Campur, and finished the meal with the Mango Sago. Everything was incredible. The soup dumplings definitely filled the void that Din Tai Fung left behind. Every dish was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and served piping hot. The Mango Sago was the perfect palate cleanser and a refreshing way to end the meal on a hot summer day. The standout for me was the Enoki Mushroom appetizer. That will be a must-order every time we come back. We also have Indonesian family and have visited Bali, so we were excited to try the Nasi Campur. It was spot on. The satay is another must-order in my opinion. Our waiter was kind and attentive, and the rest of the staff were just as welcoming and pleasant. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and we'll absolutely be back.

Eventually arrived and even with no reservations, we were able to get a table rather quickly. The dining room had clever decor, ample space, and had an inviting atmosphere. A nice quaint place that you gotta try if you're a local or simply looking for a different flair.

Their food has no flavor except for this little joint in Arlington Heights. I started with the papaya salad, which was good. Can't go wrong with that. Then I ordered my masaman curry with lamb. It was something I never had but for sure I will be having AGAIN. Also, had the pad Kee Mow (drunken noodles) these are typical Thai dishes that you should not f-up but several places here DO! This place was on point! Drunken noodle was delicious too. Although, the service was just ok but I guessed it worked out bc it kept us in the restaurant longer. We tried a mix across the menu, and what stood out right away was how many dishes can be made vegan, which makes it a great option for vegetarians or mixed groups. A few must-tries for me: * The Thai wrap -- DIY style and easily one of the more fun dishes on the menu * Red curry * Curry fried rice * Basil dish The papaya salad was also really well done and worth ordering. Portions here are generous -- most mains are easily enough for two people, so it works really well if you're sharing across the table. For the amount of food you're getting, pricing felt very reasonable (around $20-30 per person when sharing), which makes it a strong value spot in the suburbs. It's also on Resy, so if you have an Amex Platinum or Gold card, you can use your dining credit here. Overall, a solid pick if you're looking for flavorful Thai food with good portions and plenty of vegetarian-friendly options in the Arlington Heights area.

We had boorsok for our appetizer, fried dough bites that reminded me of funnel cake without sugar, and there were a lot! I had the strawberry mojito drink, and it was fantastic, really tasting of fresh fruit with many mint leaves inside. The khachapuri was extraordinary. They do imeruli style, round and similar to a pizza, the crust beautifully blistered and the cheese thick with a wonderful pull. One of my friends hadn't had khachapuri before and is now a convert. We also had boso lagman, with hand-pulled noodles and beef, and big manty dumplings with flavorful meatballs inside. I requested we get a slice of honey cake, too, and that was a perfect finish to the meal. Sweet but not overkill, and really tasted like honey, graham crackers, and cream. I'm not sure when I will possibly be in this area again, but wow, I would come here again.

The decor offered great ambiance! In order to try a couple of items my sister and I decided to split the laghman and eggplant salad. The laghman was excellent with fresh hand-pulled noodles. I appreciated that they split the dish in the kitchen for us. The eggplant salad was a good portion to supplement the noodles. But points of caution that they are fried and have an almost sweet and sour sauce on top which for me was a little heavy. Overall quick and efficient service for a sit down lunch during the work week. They also appeared to have an extensive drink menu of different lemonade and coffee that I would be interested to try next time.

I ordered the special pho (#19), which comes with thinly sliced rare steak, brisket, tendon, tripe, cilantro, and onions. I also got the BBQ pork banh mi. The pho was pretty solid. However, I was disappointed with the banh mi. It looked quite different from the menu photo, which, of course, I understand that menu items are created to look their best and don't always come out the same, but this sandwich ended up looking more like a carrot sandwich, and I'm not a fan of carrots. There was only a thin slice of BBQ pork, and the bread was too doughy. The proportions felt off overall, and it was honestly my least favorite banh mi I've tried. I took a bite and ended up giving the rest to a friend who took it home. If I'm in the area, I'd come back for the pho.
