New to the area and on a search for Spicy Miso Ramen. A quick Yelp and Google search showed this establishment as being the closest. Not looking to spend a huge delivery charge for my tried and true place, I decided to call in an order. Parking is not too bad as it's part of a strip mall and has a huge lot. The inside decor is really nice and I'm looking forward to coming to have some sushi here with friends. The service is great, efficient and courteous so that's a plus! While waiting for my food and watching the chef prepare the sushi, I added a roll to my order and I'm glad that I did since it's what I ended up having for lunch. My main interest: Spicy Miso Ramen missed the mark for me. From the color of the broth to the chicken instead of chashu pork option that I'm familiar with it did not deliver what I expected. While spicy, the familiar taste of the miso was absent and while a good bowl of soup it was not what I ventured out for. My search continues for the Spicy Miso Ramen and the upside I've found a place for delicious, fresh sushi and Thai dishes to try in the future. read more

Actually a good thai restaurant in West Palm Beach area. Decent prices and staff is quick and professional. Could be friendlier they felt a bit military. Good location and ambiance feels clean and fresh. Portions could be improved. I wasn't too hungry and ended up getting quite a few plates all were good but some seemed a rather small portion. We went there for the first time to try the Thai food. We had Thai Basil with chicken, which is the right heat and chicken is tender. Also the Drunken noodles with pork, which is basically the same sauce. The service is decent but could use a smile. The ambiance is nice and the restaurant is hopping with lots of take-outs and lunch crowd. We will go back to try out the Japanese menu. Overall, happy to find this place. read more

I was craving sushi and my family wanted lomein and some apps. I want to start by saying the sushi was good! The eel could have used more sauce but good nonetheless. For the sushi, 5 stars. My 3 star review is based on the fact that nothing wise had salt. I had to add a ton of soy sauce to the lomein and still couldn't get much flavor. We also ordered the chicken satay. I loved the curry flavor, but again, no salt at all. I would probably order sushi again, but def would not recommend for hot foods that require seasoning. read more

The name of the restaurant is "Thai Haru"....... If your name has "THAI" in it then by God your Pad Thai should be on point! This was by far the very worst pad Thai I've ever eaten. I took 2 bites and wondered if this is some egg noodle with a Pad Thai sauce bought from the Walmart Nextdoor. I didn't see any Egg, garlic, those dry like tofu pieces, I even tried to eat 3 more bites because we had been driving for 3 hours and this was my first meal today, but I'm not eating unauthentic bad tasting food. The service I'm sure would've been better if we were regulars, the server made us feel like we were a burden to her by being there to eat, watched her write down our order yet still bring me the wrong beverage. The atmosphere was decent, probably the only thing good about it. I'm sure many of those 4 & 5 star reviews have not had the pleasure of enjoying REAL Thai food. After 20 years in the restaurant business I can see in Florida that ALLLLL the Thai/Japanese/Chinese places tend to have large menus with Sushi, Thai Food and Japanese food yet never deliver on quality. If you can't make a proper Pad Thai CORRECTLY EVERY TIME it's ordered then you shouldn't call yourself a Thai Restaurant. Which reminds me about the name "Thai Haru"..... The prices were extremely fair and beer and wine options are available. Everything on the menu appealed to me; therefore, I opted for a variety of small items to include: salad with peanut dressing, chicken wonton soup, an avocado roll with brown rice and a Kirin light. Favorites: salmon sashimi, eel rolls, spicy tuna rolls, shrimp tempura rolls, hot & sour soup, masaman curry shrimp, pad thai and ANYTHING with the 3 Taste sauce. They have fabulous bento boxes for lunch and the best spring rolls EVER - light and so flavorful. (Even free when you buy a soda with lunch!) I had my coworkers smell and try it and they agreed it was awful. I called the restaurant and all they could say is that their pad thai is very good and popular and that I'm the first one to ever complain. It was absolutely horrible. Thai Haru occupies the location formerly known as The Thai Room on Okeechobee & Jog Rd. Labeled "Asian-Fusion" they serve Thai & Sushi, with some popular Asian dishes mixed-in. Like many small Asian restaurants, the owners/family are always on-site. This is a good start, as long as the owners truly care what their customers think, which can be hit-or-miss with Thai food in Palm Beach County. In this case, the owners/family are very conscientious about the food quality and whether you're happy with your meal, which makes all the difference. They are also very economic with generous portions. For example, their Shrimp Panang Curry is about $13, about $5 less than the former "Thai Room" in this location. It's also a bit larger with more vegetables. In addition to the price and serving-size, the quality is very good. We've had a dozen different sushi rolls and they've all been good quality fish with a nice size and preparation style. The only dish we've not enjoyed is the Pad Thai. Of course Pad Thai is a personal preference, you might love it. I felt it was a bit dry and not as much flavor as some. Other than the Pad Thai, all of our other Thai orders have been excellent. Their proteins are good (Beef, Chicken, Pork, Shrimp). Not the best of all Thai options, but nothing to complain about. Most recommended is the "Steamed Vegetable" dish in Peanut Sauce, you can optionally add a protein. For being such a healthy, low-carb meal, this is really tasty! Service is always good and food comes out very fast. Sushi is much faster than most, possibly because this is not yet a well-known restaurant. If you make special requests, you often have to order very slow if making special requests. They're also new, so there are occasional kinks being worked-out. The good news is that they typically want to make things right, so kinks are not a major issue. If you're in the area I highly recommend you give them a try! read more

Place is pretty good. Our server was really nice younger guy with glasses as far as the food goes its a pretty decent spot close to our area. The pad thai was good ! our spice level was 3 and although everyones tolerance is different a 3 packed some pretty decent heat lol. As far as the sushi goes wasn't too crazy about it may have been the roll that I got but just seem a bit bland in flavor.
