Loved the place. Located in a little strip mall. But once inside nice ambience, friendly efficient service and good food. Met my parents for dinner on a Wednesday. They were doing a bustling takeout business. Plenty of open tables. Our waiter had no issue with us sitting and talking for an hour after we were done eating. We all had soup. And we split an appetizer plate. Some of the best coconut soup I've had. The crab Rangoon actually tasted of crab - so many other places they seem to be cream cheese puffs! It's a good meeting point to meet my parents. I will definitely be back.

    Crazy noodles. Yum!

Delicious and fresh food. Starting with the veggie soup and ending with mango sticky rice, everything was tasty.

    Some new favorites.

This place was ok. Food ok. Service was slow but to be expected I guess when there is one person cooking and one to serve and do everything else. No alcohol here. We had the sample app platter. Fried onto of more fried food. The scallion pancakes were the best of the platter. The wings were over cooked and over fried and like leather. The crab Rangoon's.... Just yuck couldn't even finish my bite. If you get anything get the fresh spring rolls, all veggies and very fresh. Can't go wrong with these.

Thai iced tea, best soft rolls EVER, some of the best pho in the area, really nice hostess/waitress. 4 stars The Thai iced tea is pretty good (the glass is about 8 oz); the water comes with a slice of lemon unless specified otherwise. The soft rolls are by far the best in the area! They have tofu and a large piece of quartered cucumber, and the rice paper is spongy and soft and delicious; some places have chewy dry paper. They don't have shrimp in them (which is usually my favorite part, but at this restaurant the lack of shrimp is a good thing--more about the shrimp follows), and make sure to ask for peanut sauce. The sweet sauce they come with otherwise is not what I'm used to. The shrimp in the papaya salad was a little soggy/gooey, but otherwise the salad is delicious! The crab rangoons are pretty decent, but you won't be missing out if you don't get them. The tom kah soup is really good but pretty basic, only mushrooms and scallions. Getting it with chicken is a safe bet, but if you do go with shrimp, the shrimp is less gross and gooey than the shrimp in the papaya salad. Their crazy noodles and pad see eew (flat wide noodles) are both pretty good. I've ordered both of them once or twice and they are both consistently yummy. This is my favorite pho in the area, tied with Pho 88 in Lowell/Chelmsford, and a much closer drive. The portion is a bit smaller than some other places I've been to, (meaning when I bring my leftovers home, I only have enough for half a serving later, where some places I'll go home with enough for two more servings), but I'll still order it every time I'm at this restaurant. The noodles are perfectly cooked every time. Again, some places the noodles seem under cooked/chewy/a bit al dente, but not here. The noodle cook really knows what's up!! The restaurant is small, clean, and has a somewhat quiet atmosphere. Maybe six or eight tables in the place. There is a TV that's always on but is usually playing the news relatively quietly. The waitress is not the most attentive, but is very nice. Last time we were there, we had nonstop requests (more jalapeños, wooden chopsticks, extra broth) and she happily retrieved everything for us. We always come in here without shoes, and though we had a brief conversation about lack of shoes (she was curious if we ever wear them) we are never told to put any on. I'll be back here a few more times.

Would have eaten here but the TV was blaring and the waitress said it was already on the lowest setting. Too bad, it looked good otherwise.

From the decor to the music to the staff and food / drink presentation, it's all perfect. I have supported Brown Rice for a while, and am overdue for a review of their new location. The drink menu is creative and extensive, and drinks were beautifully presented. The food menu is almost too much to pick from. We ordered the crispy spring rolls and crispy chicken lemongrass, both delicious. It's one of those places where you look around and envy what everyone else is eating and want to try it all! The servers, hostess, & bartenders were smiling and laughing and enjoying what they do. Upbeat fun music was playing in the background, and patrons were equally enjoying themselves. If you haven't tried Brown Rice 2, you must go!

We all gos our drinks and placed our orders in and my daughter and mother in law got their food. Papaya salad and chicken skin. The chicken skin was amazing especially with the sauce. Really enjoyed the sticky rice which looks hard but isn't. I ordered the Pad Kra Pao with pork but Pho came in and I told them we didn't ordered that. Then an order of crab Rangoons came which we didn't order and we list let it sit on our table and about 10 min went by and we decided to eat it since I was getting hungry. I sat there for about an hour waiting for my food then the owner came out to show me what she wrote down and we crossed everything off that came then she said it would be coming out. Another 20 min pass and they deliver my food which was wrong again lol... I laughed it off because I know they're trying but I didn't send it back since I was getting hangry. All the food was great, they just need to get a better system from taking orders and getting those orders to the chef and brining the items to the correct table. To top it off, she gave us our recipe and that was all wrong as well. Like I said the food is amazing just getting what you ordered was the hard part. I hope to give this place a try but not sure yet.

I had a very pleasant lunch yesterday. Ordered seafood drunken noodles. I was served a very generous and delicious plate of noodles, veggies, squid, shrimp and scallops. I enjoyed it, but found it somewhat less flavorful than I would have liked. Possibly catering to a mostly Caucasian clientele, for my taste it probably could have used more fish sauce, My thoughts only, They have an expansive Thai menu which I look forward to sampling over the coming months. It is on the more expensive side, which is likely justified by a large portion size and fresh ingredients and ever increasing national prices. This is a very stylish restaurant inside with a clean elegant decor. Very suitable for a special meal. Service was fast and friendly, beautiful clean bathrooms and lots of off street parking. The atmosphere of this ramen shop is a bit different than the others in the general area. You walk in and order from the counter, pay, then sit and wait for it to get to your table (or for it to be bagged up to go). Not a problem at all, I just noticed the difference - many ramen shops around are more of a "sit down" vibe with wait staff and such. I was promptly greeted when entering, and they were very good at recommending their favorite ramen to me. I ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen (per recommendation between that and the spicy shoyu). First off, is the broth. Their broth is REALLY GOOD!! I found myself treating this more soup-like than most ramen visits, and went for the soup spoon a bit earlier than I usually do. The noodles were very "slurp-able", and the bamboo, scallion & sweet corn were great compliments! The second thing that will stick with me is the quail eggs. Another differentiator - these were tiny marinated eggs that come either 3 or 5. They were cooked & marinated perfectly... I kind of wish I opted in for the 5 as opposed to the 3!! The Chashu pork was really good, although it was different than what I was used to. It didn't really have that "Chashu" taste that I've grown accustomed to, and it tasted kind of like it was marinated in a soy sauce or something similar. Again, it was very very good. No complaints here, it just had a different vibe. A refreshing change!! Overall, I will definitely be coming back here. If you need a ramen fix and are in the Marlborough area - Up To Me is absolutely a viable option!!
