    Crispy Pork Belly
    Joy J.

We came on a Saturday and there were a lot of seats. Got a nice sized parking lot we ordered the crispy pork belly, dynamite squid, tom kha, and fried rice. Funny enough, the dynamite squid (we got it mild bc apparently it's really spicy as is) and fried rice tastes like the stir fries in Taiwan in the best way possible. Loved it. We also liked the pad thai too. The tom kha is on the sour side and it tasted more flavorful when you add some chili fish sauce into it. Service was fast and friendly as well :)

I've been hearing about this Austin staple of a Thai place for years. I'm so glad I came in! It's a little spot that feels so cozy and the service is spot on. Our server was present, helpful, and gave us great recommendations on food. We had the Khai Look Kory (Son in Law), Yen Toe-Fo (Pink Soup), and Tears but Joy (with fish). The Son in Law was a real surprise that had such great flavor with good textures as well. The Pink Soup was so delicious with the fat noodles, chicken, and seafood. I think the broth was really on point and tasted like a homey dish. The Tears but Joy is just that; spicy but amazingly delicious. The flavor of the sauce was really something special. Make sure to get some extra water because it's hot! I can't wait to come back and try many more of their dishes.

I finish the plate in 10 minutes. So good

This is my second time coming here, and this time I brought my friend! We had the green Thai tea and the regular Thai tea. They were both delicious and the green one was more floral. I got the shrimp fried rice again with SPICY yomwunsen this time. It was really spicy for me but it was still good. Service was outstanding as usual! And like I said before, it's a great place for a cute night out with your friends! It's very chill.

I've been coming here for years, and it's always been great! It's authentic and they're able to accommodate my vegetarian restrictions. I love the tom ka soup, pad thai and ginger tofu.

    Pad Thai with chicken

Best Thai food in Austin! Tom Kha Gai (coconut chicken soup) is wonderful and made with fresh, authentic ingredients..... I know because I make it at home. Pad Thai is excellent without the sweet red sauce or ketchup most local places use and it's not soupy. Drunken noodles with shrimp, great; curries etc, great. Best soft spring rolls with shrimp in town, made fresh to order... thus not chewy.

We've been here before and it is always good. Food was delicious, and the staff was friendly and attentive. We had a couple appetizers, soup, and a green curry dish.

Friendly staff. The pad zee eew was pleasantly delicious and paired it with the tom kha. If you're in town and looking for a spot for Asian food would recommend. I'll look forward to doing a 10 lbs pad Thai challenge soon

Besides the food being absolutely delicious, the staff was excellent. They catered to us as if we were the only people there. I ordered the pineapple fried rice and was not disappointed one bit. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. This was an excellent experience! Can't wait to come back.

The food is amazing! Today I tried the pepper pork and it wasn't what I thought but still even better then expected. I haven't been to a place better then here in all of austin. Come now and give yourself a unforgettable experience.

The food and service is great! Food comes out super fast! I asked one dish to be spicy and it was so good. The place is clean. Will definately come back!

I loved the service, but the pad se ew was okay I've had pad se ew in so many restaurants and this one tasted a bit too tangy and thick the sauce.

Parking & Service: Arrival was stress-free thanks to the massive parking lot in the strip mall. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us great recommendations. The Spice Factor: Interestingly, they offer two spice tiers: 1-10 and 10-15. We usually prefer a heavy heat, but found that levels 8 and 9 were still relatively mild. If you're a true spice lover, you might want to venture into the double digits! The Food: Portions are very generous and perfect for family-style dining. Everything was flavorful, though my one small note for the kitchen is that some dishes leaned a bit heavy on the salt. The service has always been great--servers are attentive, friendly, and quick to clear plates, which we've always appreciated. It's part of why we kept coming back. We usually order the fried pompano, and it's always been a favorite. But the last couple of times, the fish has been noticeably smaller--like almost half the size it used to be. That was already a letdown. What really did it for us, though, was finding a plastic to-go cup lid inside one of our drink glasses. It was buried in there, and completely threw us off. At that point, we were just done. It's a bummer because we've liked this place for a long time, but between the smaller portions and that experience, we won't be coming back.

The menu is pretty extensive too, so it was easy for everyone to find something they were excited about. I had the Tum Tad salad, which was super fresh and flavorful with a nice balance of tangy and savory. For dessert, the mango sticky rice was a standout. It was made with a black rice that actually looked kind of blue, which made it really visually fun. Not totally sure if there was some ube mixed in or just the natural color, but either way it was delicious and a little different from the usual version.

My first few bites were a little underwhelming because it tasted slightly fishy and the flavors didn't seem to come together. After giving the box a really good shake, though, everything mixed properly and it tasted much better. I ordered a spice level 2, and wow, it was actually pretty spicy. I usually add extra chili sauce to my Pad Thai, but this time I didn't need to. If you're sensitive to heat, I probably wouldn't go any higher than a level 2. The peanuts added a nice crunch, and I highly recommend asking for extra lime. I felt like the dish could have used a little more acidity to balance everything out. While the slight fishiness wasn't my favorite, the overall flavor was good, and it's definitely one of the better Pad Thai options I've found in Austin so far. Not the best Pad Thai I've ever had, but one I'd happily order again when the craving hits.

It's perfectly poached, incredibly tender, and paired with fragrant rice that's rich without being greasy. It also comes with a decadent bowl of soup. I usually start with the chicken skin appetizer, which iss dangerously addictive. It's crispy, light, and comes with dipping sauce. The combo plate is the way to go if you want to try the poached and fried chicken. You get a variety of textures and flavors, both juicy and crunchy. Both sauces are great to dip in and the chicken goes great with the rice. If you can handle spice, the boat noodles are a great option too. The broth is complex and spicy, with tender noodles and well-seasoned meat. The spiciness is definitely a build up, but the broth is so good you can't stop drinking it. Overall, P Thai's is a great spot for lunch or dinner. Plenty of seating inside with some outside, nice staff that explain everything, and a great spot to share food. I also have to give them credit for the outdoor seating area because it's such a nice setup. It's dog-friendly, shaded, spacious, and they even have a self-serve water station.
