Always pass by this food truck driving down Manor and am glad I finally got to try it! Service was decent - it's family-owned and just one person was working the truck when we visited, so it took a while to get our food (there was one person ahead of us who had ordered a bunch of dishes to-go). There are a couple tables/benches outside with overhead umbrellas, which actually came in super handy because it randomly started pouring while we were still waiting. Pad Kee Mao (4.5/5) - Came out fresh and piping hot! The beef was really tender but it was just a tad too spicy for me (I got a 3 out of 5 in terms of spice level). Next time if I got this dish again, I would go down on the spice so that I could enjoy more of the flavor. Still really tasty though! Overall would recommend if you're craving yummy Thai food at an affordable price! Just be prepared that there might be a wait. read more

Solid thai food from friendly staff at a nice food truck setting. The location is very convenient, right on manor road. We ordered 3-4 dishes and it took about 20 mins or so to be prepared which i thought was reasonable. The food had good flavor and the portions were solid. I quite liked the dishes we ordered, the green curry was very solid with a nice balanced flavor. The pad see eaw was just okay, a bit of a weird flavor to me. I will say that it wasn't as spicy as I was expecting, so I would recommend ordering a higher spice level than you normally would if you like spicy food. I'm hesitant to bring this up, especially since this is a family-owned business, but I've noticed the ingredient proportions seem quite unbalanced. There's a lot of noodles or carbs, but very little of the toppings like vegetables, tofu, or meat. It is super spicy as they are using actual thai chillies. tho the flavor is 3/5 with the amount of veggies and tofu/meat i got I probably wont come back for drunken noodle. not sure abt other dishes read more

It's behind the building in the corner. There are plenty of seats in the shade. The wait is not bad. We really enjoyed our meals from here. I ordered the mildly spicy green curry with chicken. This was more substantial than expected. It came with a generous portion of Jasmine rice. Thai Thani is an excellent food truck located on Manor Road and certainly not to be missed if you're in the area! I've been coming here for almost four years and have yet to be disappointed. The portions have definitely gotten smaller over the years, but they're still pretty generous, so this isn't a huge problem. I also love how personable the staff are. I don't go super often, but when I do, they remember me and already know my order. Everyone is extremely friendly and work quickly. There are a few picnic tables out front, but I think for the most part everyone does take away from here. The food is delicious, so you may as well enjoy it in a comfortable atmosphere! read more

Me and my bf came here to grab a quick bite and the food was excellent! We got the chicken drunken noodles and the green curry with chicken with a 3/5 spice level for both. The food seemed freshly made since it came out piping hot and the service was relatively fast considering that. Everything was really well seasoned and nice and spicy!! Picture might not do it justice... but I NEED y'all to know- this truly might be some of the best Thai I've ever had. The Green Curry was one of the most delicious curries, with a spice level that rises at first and then plateaus, complimenting the meal perfectly. It also stays piping hot so it's great to eat there or to-go! $12 for a really good serving, I ended up having leftovers and ate twice! Seriously, cannot recommend this place enough. read more

Rude employee, got there at 8:20pm, no one in line. Lady who took my order acted like I kicked her dog. I don't need the employees to smile but don't act super rude like I owe you money or something. And then after ordering told me it would take 30 minutes. Little did I know it actually took 45 minutes...there was literally no one in line so not sure why it took this long. There were no prices on the menu, which is really exciting because I love surprises. The surprise was that the price is similar to what you'd get at a sit-down restaurant, and the quality was definitely not comparable. The parking lot was extremely small and tight, and there were only two tables next to the food truck. I had the drunken noodles and they were not good. TLDR: very generous portions, especially for the prices in austin, but not anything id go out of my way to eat again things we ordered: - basil beef - drunken noodle - cashew chicken - pad thai chicken - pad thai beef - spicy chicken wings one good thing is that the portion sizes are very generous (pad thai chicken fed me for 2.5 meals)! basil beef- 3.5/5 the basil beef was alright. it was a bit watery, and the rice to meat ratio wasn't the best, but the taste was still not bad. drunken noodle- 4.5/5 my dad asked for level 5 spiciness and it made it really good! he did say next time he recommends a 3-4 lvl bc he had many trips to the restroom after that! overall, though, the drunken noodle was really yummy with a good variety of veggies to balance out the overall dish. cashew chicken- 3/5 the cashew chicken wasn't very spectacular either. it did not have much distinctive flavor. pad thai chicken- 3/5 i didn't find that the pad thai was spectacular at all. the noodles were mostly stuck together in large clumps and were pretty mid in taste. pad thai beef- 3.5/5 the beef tasted pretty good in this pad thai, hence the additional 0.5 pt, but overall, the pad thai noodles were sticky in large clumps with not much flavor, similar to the pad thai chicken spicy chicken wings- 3/5 the chicken wings didn't taste like usual spicy chicken wings, but didn't have a very memorable flavor read more

I always drive past this spot and have been curious to try it. Tonight we decided to give a go and were so happy we did! Super quick, food was hot when it came out and very delicious. We got the pad Thai, and drunken noodles level 4 spicy- both some of the best I've tried in Austin. I opted for level 4/5 because I normally am underwhelmed by spiciness at thai spots around town but this level 4 was actually hot so be careful lol. We will definitely be back! read more

I ordered the green curry with beef and it was really delicious! I enjoyed the flavor and the level of spice. It is spicy but not overpowering. The portion size is good for the price. The service was not very friendly, I didn't feel very welcomed or like she was even happy I was there, that was disappointing. I love supporting local food trucks like this, but expect more friendly service. I would still go back since I just got food to go and it was yummy. The beauty of THAI THANI is consistency. Same lovely ladies cooking means same bomb food every time! The green chicken curry spice level 4 is my go to and it's so damn good every time. Do not try to make green curry at home! Just get it from here!! I was craving Tom yum soup tonight and I stopped by Thai Thani close to my house. It wasn't on the menu so I asked. They said they can make it but it would take maybe 15 or 20 minutes which was fine. I ordered it super spicy because no Thai place in town makes anything spicy. I waited and received a small container of soup. I thought for 11.99 I would get a quart but it wasn't. I said something to the young woman about the size and price. When I got home I opened it and it was so jammed packed with meat and vegetables and the flavor was the best the Tom yum soup I have had in Austin. And it was spicy. It was well worth the 11.99. So my apologies for saying anything negative to her and I really appreciate them taking the time to make something off menu for me. I could eat this every day. Add it to your menu!!! SO excited to have a halal Thai place in Austin! Verbally confirmed by the person working, both beef and chicken are halal. Went to school here and had no idea this place existed. We tried the drunken noodles and yellow curry, both with chicken. Both were supposed to be spice level 3, but the noodles were much spicier than the curry. The curry was much more sweet than spicy. I'd say it's about the same quality as Madam Mam's or Tuk Tuk. Excited to try more things off this menu, and hopefully we'll figure out the spice levels as we go along. read more

My new favorite Thai place in austin! A friend told me to stop by this food truck for great pad Thai and he was exactly right. This venue is run by a hardworking mother and daughter, and the food is prepared fresh upon ordering it. My chicken pad Thai was seriously good - rivaled most that I've had at other Thai restaurants. I can't wait to go back soon! As a tip, their pad Thai on the menu still says that it has tofu, but they said they actually don't include it anymore in the recipe. read more

I got the chicken pad thai and enjoyed it. Maybe it was just me but it had a barbecue sauce ish taste to it.. it wasn't bad just different than most pad thai I've had. The portions are also very big, 1 order is enough for 2 decent meals. Overall a great choice for easy and quick take out read more

Pretty solid Thai food trailer tucked behind a convenience store off Manor. Big portions, friendly staff, cool location w plenty of picnic tables in the vicinity. We had pad kra pow, green curry & pad Thai and all of them were solid. Also worth noting, most Thai restaurants cook in vegetable oils which are terrible for your health. Thai Thani uses olive oil which is very impressive. Tastes better too. read more

Some of the cleanest, freshest, tastiest Thai food I've had. You taste more of the authentic flavors, and less of the heavy creaminess. The owner is very friendly, with many interesting personal life stories, and she talks about how she tried to make the food taste like it would in Thailand. Highly recommended read more

THE BLACK AND WHITE: We came here after a Sunday afternoon walk with our newborn and craving some fried chicken. Fortunately Cockti was nearby and ordering was pretty straightforward with the QR code. We got the Hulked Chicken Sandwich, Thighs & Fries, and Lemon Saffron Aioli. The hulked chicken sandwich was truly hulked with a ton of things inside that harmoniously worked together. The thighs and fries were nicely spiced up and paired well with the lemon saffron aioli. I had this place previously and they had a sichuan mala chicken sandwich. It wasn't on the menu when I went last so it may be seasonal. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Damage done here was around $25 for the two sandwiches and sauce. Juicy chicken sandwich done right with some unique seasonal options.

Everything is à la carte, so I built myself a little sampler: brisket, pork sausage, mac and cheese, and the cornbread dressing. Brisket: Moist, well‑seasoned, and wonderfully fatty. It's not the heavy smoke you get from classic Texas brisket, but the tenderness and flavor more than make up for it. Sausage: Absolutely massive. And absolutely NOLA. It was a cajun style Boudin sausage packed with rice, spices, and that honestly almost a full meal on its own. I took home half of it for leftovers. Cornbread Dressing: They described it as a crawfish boil in one bite, and they weren't lying. Sweet, salty, and full of bayou flavor. Pimento Mac & Cheese: The richest mac and cheese I've ever tasted. Some might call it salty; to me it's just the natural intensity of pimento. It was bold, cheesy, and unapologetic. The Cajun mustard ties everything together: full of spices, a little sweet, and exactly what I want with smoked meats. Service was fast, the place wasn't busy, and the whole experience felt easy in the best way. Cajun cooking is all about spice and flavor, and Parish delivers on both. A new contender on my BBQ list.

The wait for the food wasn't bad, everything was ready in about 5 mins. Ribs were probably my favorite, with the brisket a close second. They were nice enough to throw in some burnt ends for us, too. Pimiento Mac and cheese was delightful, and so was the debris grits. The pistolette roll was a nice touch and was delicious with the honey butter. Definitely recommend this place and will be back as soon as possible.

Tried the Son of a Peach with cream cheese icing, spiced peach filling, cake mix topping, cinnamon and sugar with honey butter. This one was a bit too overindulgent and sweet for my liking but was definitely worth a try. Portions are huge and can be shared as the donut is not as good warmed over.
