Just moved here and found my favorite Thai restaurant. Everything we have tried was sooo delicious. My favorite is the Papaya Salad (thai hot) with stinky tiny crabs!! (if you're asian, you know what I'm talking about!) Also all the curry is really good as well and don't forget to get Mango with sticky rice! Staff is friendly and restaurant is sooo cute!! First visit, last visit. I checked out their website to see what they have as their house specialty dishes. They have listed on their website 3 house specialty items. When I arrived about 8:35 pm I asked the guy at the counter to tell me about their house specialty dishes. He said they don't offer any house specialty dishes. Ok, maybe you should learn your restaurants specialties, or maybe you just put those on your website to occupy space, who knows. Anyway, I decided to skip that if he wasnt familiar with it. I decided to order the beef red chili curry in coconut milk with pumpkin, broccoli, bell pepper and basil, Thai Spicy. I also ordered pad se-iew. Let me preface this by saying I am no stranger to spice in food, nor the effects of it. I thrive on spicy food. I eat meals with heat spices daily, up and including to the holy grail ghost peppers. To me there wasn't a tremendous amount of heat to their thai spicy version. Now I can say the average person would probably be in trouble. The noodles were pretty darn good. However, that isnt my issue, these two are and the 2nd even more so. There was only 3 slices of beef in the red curry dish, very few vegetables. It was filled only half way. A quarter of the way up with the veggies and beef and the rest was liquid to the center of the quart container. That is unacceptable for $10. However, within about 2 hours of eating, my stomach was hurting. Not from spices, but bad food feel. Within an hour of that time the porcelain was calling. For the next 18 hours I was visiting there 2-3 times an hour. I finally had to take some pills to get it to stop. I am not sure what you are doing, as I see on other reviews also and I am certainly not the only one who has experienced this at your establishment, but figure it out. We just discovered this place during our stay in Mesa. Wow is it good. We had pad Thai with chicken from the lunch menu. Portions were perfect, food was cooked to perfection, service was excellent. Staff was welcoming and gracious. It is a small place that fills up fast. read more

Last minute craving for Pad Thai and I should have explained that I like spice in the food and not on the side . I was picking up for someone else and left the spice behind. My bad . I have dined in and ordered takeout. The ambience in the restaurant is less than desirable. The price of the food compared to the portion size is not worth the money. Staff is always friendly. I normally love this place. The food is delicious. Tonight's experience was horrifying for a germaphobe. Nothing worse than finding a hair in your food. It makes me sick to my stomach to pull a bundle of it from middle of my food. What's worse was it was cooked with the food and burned in the center. So gross, so sad. read more

I usually order their tom yum soup as I'm not huge on curry. Their tom yum soup is so addicting. It has this lime and sourness with a bit of heat- to your taste. I've ordered the similar soup in other restaurants and this has been the best Tom yum soup so far. You do have to order jasmine rice on the side as it doesn't come with i, but put together and it is so good. read more

Having traveled to Thailand I can say this is the closest place to real Thai tasting food! I have had favorite places around the Phoenix area but I always say how lucky we are for Thai kitchen in our new-ish community! Believe it or not this was my first Thai experience. My buddy raved that this place was to die for, so here I am. He always gets the same thing, Thai fried rice with chicken (no peas or carrots) so I wanted to get something completely different from him (and not as basic). I'm a huge Indian food fan so I ended with the Yellow Curry with chicken. Also got an order of spring rolls. The reviews said the Thai tea was a MUST order, so that is what I paired my dinner with and I'm glad I got it, it was absolutely delicious. I only chose hot for the spice level, flavor was great but I like things extra spicy but hey, Thai hot next time! The dish though was perfect and now I've introduced my taste buds to another type of food that I've fallen in love with, and I don't have a Thai restaurant close enough back home. Bummer. The restaurant itself was on the smaller side but extremely clean and a super cute vibe. Service was great and the food came out quick. 5/5 stars from me! ....and yes, order the Thai tea! read more

My friend recommended we should go here for lunch. Her and her boyfriend came here about 3 times had really good food. We decided to try the lunch special yellow curry chicken. I ordered the Thai hot and she ordered the Medium Thai spicy. The server told us this is the medium so that one to my friend and the hot went to me. My friend took a bit of her and hers was surprising really spicy. And mine didn't even have a bite. Come to find out that he accidentally gave us the wrong meal. We were in a hurry so we just decided to switch plates instead of waiting for a new one. The meal didn't have much chicken in it, it had lots of potatoes and carrots that came with a side of rice. I thought hey it's lunch I shouldn't eat too much anyways. Half way through my meal my stomach felt upset. I finished my meal and instantly ran to the restroom.. I think you guys know what happened from there. I ate at 1230pm and I've gone to the restroom about 10 or more times. FOOD POISONING! Honestly, the food didn't taste bad at all. My friends & I were in town for the tough mudder & have a tradition of having Thai as a celebratory post run meal. We chose Thai kitchen due to its proximity to our rental. Pros: Pad Thai Thai iced tea (sadly, no refills) Ginger chicken Papaya salad Sweet server who reminds me of my mom Cons: Our food arrived at various times so by the time one person received their meal, another had finished theirs. I have been here twice in a matter of a few weeks and the food is very good. It's always busy during lunch and it is a small space space but their turnaround is great. I recommend their Pad Thai soup and their papaya salad is very good as well. I think they are doing the best I can with the covid-19 like to see more visible signs that they are cleaning and guarding against the Omicron virus spread. read more

Family Owned!! Very clean and overall a nice place with great healthy choices. Everyone local was happy when this place opened because it was something different in the East Valley and my household has been extremely happy with the food and selections. Some things have changed since they first opened like the portions have gotten smaller but you expect things like that with a new business. Not so new anymore but they seem to have gotten things down pretty well now and they've always been quick, courteous and accurate with our take-out orders. When your move from another town, you have to find your local Thai go-to joint. I found mine! The ambiance is excellent, probably the best I've seen for a Thai restaurant. Friendly contemporary vibe and great food. I always get the same dishes at any Thai restaurant I do. That includes Panang chicken, basil fried rice, Thai tea, cream cheese crab wontons, and of course the chicken skewers. All of my times were on point! Highly recommend it. read more

Just bad customer service and bad attitudes! First time here and It's not worth the food. We ordered yellow curry and my husband normally goes hot and the cook way over spiced it at a level My husband couldn't even enjoy the food. We asked them nicely to remake it and go "mild" and they wanted to argue with us. They remade it in literally 2 mins but it was watered down and basically sloppy.. we didn't eat it and asked if we could take it off the ticket... they then argued with us again saying we were "you people are always playing games". We apologized and tried to be polite. The attitudes were just awful and we didn't see a reason for the arguing and bad attitudes and left very unsatisfied and harassed. We had hoped to find a nice Thai place in our local AJ but we won't be going back. read more

I'm a fan of this place after tonight's dinner of Shrimp Pad Thai and Chicken Yellow Curry. Breaking down these dishes...the Shrimp Pad Thai was excellent. Shrimp was fresh and not overcooked. The noodles were perfect. The little chunks of tofu were a surprise...but I love tofu, so I didn't mind, they were tasty. I'll be ordering this dish again. The yellow curry's sauce was the best I've had in a long, long time and I have traveled to Thailand and had the best! I ordered both dishes with a medium spice level and it was perfect. Just the right amount of heat. The potatoes were good but I have to say, the chicken took this review from a 5 star down to a 4 star. It was not that good. Very little in the dish and dry. However, all in all, I have found a Thai restaurant to come back to. read more
