Let me tell you, this was probably the best Thai food I've had in my life (probably comparable to Thailand). I'm only reviewing the Cashew Chicken stir fry. 10 out of 10 RECCOMEND! It was so good with a little soy sauce on the rice and a few dashes of chili sauce provided on the counter when picking up. Asked to sub red bell peppers for broccoli and they accommodated my request. I needed a veggie heavy meal and they did not disappoint. My grandfather would always cook dishes with a little bit of meat and a lot of vegetables, so the amount of chicken was perfect for me. That plate was the perfect amount and I'm glad I didn't order anything else! If you prefer more chicken just ask for extra. Yummy Thai and wonderful service! The Kahului location's dining set up is so cute at night -- you're enclosed by the food trucks and canteen lights and there are lots of picnic benches! I'd give it 3.5 stars. Pros: the food is tasty, cooked quickly, and it's a good value for the price paid (portion size-wise) considering we're on Maui. Cons: We ate at two different locations on two separate nights. At both, we ordered Pad Kee Mau (drunken noodles). At neither was there any Thai basil in the dish. At the 1st location I figured OK, they ran out. We also had a shrimp green curry, and that was delish. On the second night we ordered drunken noodles and also ordered pad gra pow (on daily special). The English name of this dish is Basil Chicken, and the menu board even mentioned it contained Thai holy basil. Guess what? Not a lick of basil within! WTF? 3 dishes that should have basil with none in sight, including in one dish where it should be one of the main ingredients. Buyer beware. read more

This was our first meal when we landed at the airport. It's so good that it was the only eatery that we paid a second visit during our trip. Conveniently located close to the airport across the street from Costco, this place is a must-try. This was amongst one of the food trucks we tried at the lot and was our favorite. We had the Drunken Noodles and Pad Thai. Even though it was a food truck, the noodles was full of "wok hei"(breath of the wok) and was stir-fried to perfection. The flavors were spot on and the portions were good. They were all delicious plates of noodles tasting better than some actual restaurants. This spot came recommended to us from friends that lived on the island for a while and it did not disappoint. We got the Panang curry which was delicious and the perfect portion size. My first favorite item is the deep fried lemongrass chicken. Tender chicken with great flavor, and a dipping sauce. This very large lunch is fulling and never disappoints. My second favorite items is the deep fried pork ribs (yes a repeated pattern), with a great sauce, but no picture because I was too hungry. Again like the chicken, fried but tender and moist in the inside, the perfect combo again. If you are not sure, they do occassionally hand out little samples like Costco to get you hooked. It does not take very long to get your food. And you can watch the feral chicken running around for entertainment. These are the only two items I have eaten repeatly, I guess I should try other items next time. There is ample parking and a nice shaded eating area shared with many other food trucks. read more

It was quite sunny and warm when we visited this place at noon. There are some shaded areas that gives some comfort. The setup is clean and well maintained. The vegetarian options are good, with dishes like the Pad See Ew which is cooked noodles, smoky flavor, and has a nice set of spices. The Pad Thai is another good dish with a good set of vegetables. Burnt taste. This place does not live up to the hype. We were visiting Maui from Southern California and his frequent Thai eaters had been enjoying alternate cuisine for the past several days. We ended up at a food truck area and tie me up was highly recommended. We decided to give it a try. The food was good but compared to Thai that we have on a more frequent basis from various restaurants, he did not live up to the height. In fact in my pad Thai, the egg was slightly burn which ruined the entire flavor of the dish. My wife didn't let me take it back, but in our normal place I never eat something that tasted like this burnt burnt burnt. The food was phenomenal and so fresh, and the service was lovely - it was honestly perfection. So much so we visited several more times at a location closer to our hotel during our stay. The lemongrass fried chicken is really good, and the papaya salad it comes with is crunchy and well seasoned with a little spice. Jasmine rice was good. Overall an easy to eat dish. Chicken fried rice was good and flavorful. I was missing a bit of the traditional thai flavor with basil. It was good.
