We decided to have dinner here based on the current rating. Perhaps we came in early (4pm) because they were not prepared. The aircon is not working well that they have to open the door for airflow. We can even smell cigarette smell. They did not serve water while waiting for the server to come. The menu... they only have one main entree, very limited choices. For now I will give this experience with 3.75. I will update this review are we eat to rate the quality of their food. UPDATE: We ordered yellow curry, pepper beef, pad thai, crab fried rice and tom yum shrimp. All of it taste good! Really authentic taste. The service is a little slow. They do offer free thai tea or hibiscus tea. For food quality i am going to give them a better review rate of 4.2.

Spicy Pad Thai with Thai Tea and hibiscus tea. So delicious and refreshing.

Omg the Pad Thai is so good I ordered spicy Pad Thai and it is spicy but it's delicious. The order was so big, I can only eat 1/3 of it. I also got a complimentary Thai tea with my order too. I'm so happy that Thai Princess is open and doing well after Covid again. One of the best Thai food around.

Pad see ew beef was the star. Chef probably vibing to the 80s love songs on blast. Made with love. Curry had great flavor but consistency was on the runny side. Chicken was fresh, tender, not dry. Lots of vegetables. Ambiance wise, I felt the dark brown tables and seating was too serious vs whimsical seafoam green wallpaint. Waitress very sweet, offered free Thai Tea w/ purchase of entree and provided excellent service

I got here around 6pm on Tuesday. There is a huge parking lot outside. No need to worry about parking. There are about 36 seats total inside. I got the pad Thai, special ribeyes salad, tom kha soup, crab fried rice, and loaded fries. The portion is very generous and food is quite decent. I'd give the food about 3/5. It's more on the savory side, wish it was lighter on the taste. Any orders that's not an appetizer will come with Thai tea or hibiscus tea. Service was fast and courteous. Overall, I'd come back here again! Great for big groups and price.

Outstanding service, outstanding food, even sing a little karaoke! Highly recommend for in-house or takeout. And their hibiscus and Thai iced tea are second to none!

Chicken pad see ew and chicken pad thai

The staff is incredibly kind and service is absolutely AMAZING!! They offer one free drink for every entree and their serving size is beyond generous. We got chicken pad see ew, pad thai and crab fried rice, which were all delicious. This place is severely underrated! Beware their mild is still pretty spicy!

ok this place is actually SO good don't let the wait scare you away. if you can i'd recommend pre-ordering because they're usually really busy, but it's 100% worth it. the tom yum soup with shrimp, rice noodles, and extra veggies is literally the best soup i've ever had. we came back the next day just to get it again. i think i accidentally found my comfort food lol. thank you to the chef for making the most comforting, flavorful food ever and thank you anna for being so kind and welcoming. i'm actually kinda sad i'm going home because i already know i'm gonna be craving this. can't wait to come back

my friends and i really wanted thai food, and thai princess was one of the thai restaurants opened later around us that we havent tried yet, so we decided to stop by and were so glad we did! the exterior and interior of thai princess looks really unassuming, almost as if you were visiting a relative, but i feel like that made the experience very homey! the waitress was also so kind and attentive! for our appetizer, we tried the chicken satay with a peanut sauce, and this was really good! the chicken was very soft and paired well with the sauce and veggies for freshness. for our entrees, we had the pad see ew with ribeye, the pad thai with chicken, and the panang curry with eggplants. i would say the pad thai was just okay, and the panang curry was really yummy and rich! the real star of the show was the pad see ew, which was probably the best pad see ew ive ever had in my life! the sauce was a good mix of sweet and savory, and the ribeye was so tender and paired well with the perfectly cooked noodles and veggies. i would come again just for the pad see ew!! we didnt know that an order of any entree came with a free thai tea, so that was a nice surprise since we were gonna order it anyway! the thai tea was really good and had the perfect mix of strong tea flavor and sweetness. the waitress was so sweet and asked us if we wanted any refills or even a cup to-go, but we capped out on our sweet tooth for the day haha

This is hands down the best thai food I've ever had, and their hospitality is so great. Our server Anna was so thoughtful and attentive to all of our needs, and was such an amazing and sweet person overall. I truly mean it when you must go to this restaurant just to meet her. She's actually stellar and is the definition of someone that restores humanity. But actually, food was something else--you could actually taste how everything was made from fresh ingredients and seasoned literally SO perfectly. Yellow curry ~$15 had such a deep flavor but it was not heavy at all. I loved it so much! Even the vegetables were all cooked to perfection, which I know takes precision. 10/10 Pad thai ~$15 was so flavorful. The peanuts on the side were something else. we normally skip out on the peanuts on pad Thai, but when Anna brought it to us, it smelled so good that we had to try it and it truly elevated the entire dish. 9/10 Baked mussels. ~$10 Gosh words cannot explain how delicious and umami this was. Seasoned perfectly and so tender. The chef even snuck in a few extra for us, and we were oh so grateful. 9.9/10 Portions: They are SO generous with their portions. My boyfriend and I came in super hungry, but we literally were only able to finish half of the pad thai and curry. We literally brought home an entire full meal as leftovers after eating so much! Anna was also so kind to send us off with refills of our drinks and in to go cups, which were actually so delicious. Price: SO WORTH IT. I actually do not even remember the last time I went to the restaurant and left this full. $45 for literally 2 drinks with unlimited refills, 2 loaded entrees, and 1 appetizer. Anna literally even sent us away with special desserts from the chef while being so accommodating and thoughtful of our food allergies

Pad Se Ew Beef & Shrimp

I placed a catering order for Pad Se Ew Beef & Shrimp. They give free drinks when ordering an entree and got 3 thai teas and 2 hibiscus. They were kind to give me complimentary cream cheese wontons as well. I was late on picking my order and they called to make sure everything was ok. After telling them I was going to be late and expect to be there in 45 minutes they even offered to deliver to me. Really sweet people! The Pad Se Ew tasted amazing and had an abundance of Beef & Shrimp. Their cream cheese wonton was crispy and light, one of the best cream cheese wontons I have had. Their Hibiscus was one of a kind, different and unique. Rich and sweet. They also add an orange to the Hibiscus which only elevated the drink and made it taste even better. And the aroma was a wonderful scent, fresh and zesty. This place definitely is a hidden gem. Great food and great people. I look forward to trying their other dishes.

I was craving some Thai food after church, specifically the pad see ew with fried tofu, and let me tell you, this place DELIVERED!! It's so delicious, and it's made perfectly! The portion is great! I ordered to-go, and I didn't have to wait too long. Plus, I got a free Thai tea with my order! The server was so kind as well. Would definitely come back here again!

Free drinks on the house; very sweet, tastes good
    Abbie C.

Both pad see ew and pad Thai was very oily that it made the bag all oily. It was leaking. Pad Thai favor was not authentic, but instead drowned in spicy flavor which I did not ask for. The complimentary drinks that comes with each entree were very sweet but tasty. Service was timely.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this place! Tried their Tom Yum soup, cream cheese wontons, ribeye beef salad and everything was delicious! They put their own twist on these classics. Can tell they are cooking from scratch and the ingredients are fresh. The menu is varied- thai, but also some American and Italian thrown in. The waitress was so very sweet and helpful! Even though she was super busy, she made us feel very welcomed. She also made sure we tried their Hibiscus iced tea, which was sooo good! She also made fresh thai iced tea and packed it for us to take with. The place is fairly new and still needs decor, but it's clean, chairs are comfortable, service is great, and food is delicious. Come give it a try!

    They closed after opening again?

They are open! Great food / great service!

    They're back open again?

Yes, but it looks like it's a different owner and different menu also.

What happened ? Why are they closed?

No idea, just found out after searching as well. I had been calling for the last 5 months hoping to dine in with them but every time i called it was always "one more month". now to see that it's closed. they may have closed possibly due to not…

Does anyone know if this place is doing dine in yet?

They still not open for dine in. They said they will be open for dine in a month when renovation is completed.

Is lunch special available on weekend too? I don't know what main even day are.

Does Thai Princess do catering — if so, how large are their portions, how much can they feed, and approximately how much does it cost? I’m wondering for a group of 20 or so people!

Is this operated by the same people who had a location on Beach Blvd in the same plaza as Target?

YES. IT IS. GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY, PLEASE. They moved to this location a couple years ago. They have photos from their old location at this new establishment

What kind of vegan options are available?

They have noodle and rice dishes, soups and appetizers that can all be made vegan. You just have to let them know what dish you want without any animal product and they will accommodate for you. I've had pad thai, pineapple fried rice, kung pao tofu…

We shared a variety of dishes: -Papaya Salad: A Lao style papaya salad. Super flavorful, crisp, and fresh. Honestly great just eating it on its own. I also liked the raw crab in it which was nice to suck on. -Lao Sausage: Meaty and good. I liked how the flavor wasn't too strong and offputting. The sauce it came with was good, but a bit hard to dip in. This paired well with the sticky rice. -Crispy Fried Rice (Nam Kao Tod): Super unique dish! I liked folding the crispy rice with sour pork bits into the lettuce wraps which was fresh, crispy, and texture heaven. While the food was solid, I did think the prices were on the higher side for the area. It might be because of the ingredients if I had to take a guess. The service here was pretty good. They have ample parking spots in front of the restaurant in the lot.

My total came to $41.33, and I paid with $100.35 in cash. I was given $59.00 back in change, so I politely mentioned that I was still owed $0.02. I even said, "It's okay, you can keep it." What bothered me wasn't the two cents--it was the owner's response. He told me that "the government said we're not allowed to use pennies anymore." That simply isn't true. Pennies are still legal U.S. currency, and I had just received pennies as change at a grocery store earlier that day. If a business chooses not to keep pennies on hand or has a rounding policy, that's one thing, but telling customers the government no longer allows the use of pennies is misleading. This was never about two cents. It was about honesty and customer service. As a business owner, if you owe a customer change, you should either provide it or explain your store's policy truthfully--not make a statement that isn't accurate. Unfortunately, that interaction left a poor impression and took away from what could have been an otherwise pleasant experience.
