The pho was pretty good. My only complaint is that the bowl was too small and had too many noodles. It was difficult to get the noodles out from the bottom, not only because the bowl was packed, but also because most of the noodles were broken. Also, it gets pretty hot in here. Service was excellent. Tons of parking.

Solid pho. Broth hot and flavorful . Meat tender and plentiful. Noodles slightly overcooked so it fell apart as i was eating which was disappointing. The french fries were yummy. The bo luc lac was good but the garlic noodles werent that great- tasted super oily n barely any garlic flavor. Lots of parking takes cc.

One of my favorite pho spots! Parking can be difficult since the parking lot is pretty small Inside was pretty small with limited seating Service was friendly, welcoming, and attentive Pricing was reasonable ($14-$20+) Most of their pho come with WAGYU and come in 3 different sizes (S - $13.99, M - $17, and L - $21) The Kuroshi Combo came with Wagyu rare steak, brisket, rib cube, and meatball with the option of wide or regular noodles. The steak and brisket were so tender and good quality! The broth was super flavorful and very delicious! Got a M and it came in a pretty big bowl with plenty of meat and noodles! Definitely one of the best pho I've had! This was 10/10. Would definitely recommend and return

Pho was good. Service was OK. $18 for Small rare stake pho was a bit pricey. Maybe because it says Wagyu, but meats were already been dumped in a pho so it was already boiled and I didn't taste like wagyu.

We tried the short rib, pho tai, and fries. The noodles and veggies were fresh and soup wasn't watered down! The short rib was a bit tough and not easily off the bone. Would recommend to just stick with the normal steak, which was perfectly cooked. Fries were good, can't go wrong with that. The server was quick and attentive, although we were the only customers at that time. Felt clean and the atmosphere was comfortable:)

Wanted to try out a new pho spot and stumbled upon here. Kuroushi Combo (3.5/4) - you choice of thin or fresh wide rice noodles with wagyu rare steak, brisket, rib cube, & meatballs. Meat is tender and high quality. However, pho broth is on the sweeter side. Prices are as follows: $13.99 Small / $18 Medium / $21 Large Yukari Fries (3/5) - fries with Japanese Shiso seasoning. The seasoning was so light that it just tasted like regular fries to me. Nothing special. Then again, not sure why I decided to get fries at a pho spot... Ambiance is nicer than your typical mom & pop pho spot. Quick service.

This place is a local family owned restaurant that promises fresh and excellent ingredients. For just $20-$21 you can get a large bowl of pho that actually has a lot of extra pieces of meat whereas other places only give you 1-3 extra pieces and charge you double. I swear this is the best pho I've been to so far. Not only that, but their other food options are fresh and delicious! I got the brisket pho, truffle fries, and wings and my god! Total bomb flavortown. Will be back!

Solid beef that's wagyu. Big bowls. Got the $25 special with rib. The rib was huge and meaty! That was a delight. Also the $11 wings were pretty on point and crispy. Some wings were heavy batter but the chicken was insanely good. Clean venue with cool decor on the top. Authentic and delicious. Would come back. Very reasonable prices.

Food was pretty good, although the broth kinda lacks flavor but additional fish sauce on the table can make up for it. The house special has a lot of meat and so does the oxtail, favorite is the oxtail and beef cubes, probably brisket, very soft and melts in your mouth. Worth the visit. Menu is on the pricier side for sure

It might have been a fluke but waited about 15 minutes to be seated. Once seated, we ordered right away before the other large group in hopes that our food would come faster. The server worked alone and forgot our drinks. He is friendly though but definitely more help was needed. I noticed the manager and other worker just minding their own business and not helping out. It took 30 min for our dishes to come out. My Bo luc lac with garlic noodles arrived before pho. Pho shouldn't take 30 min! The Bo luc lac is as tasty but the garlic noodles were lackluster. The pho broth was actually tasty too. I would come back again and maybe the service would be better.

I always forget to review pho joints for some reason.. Which is cray since i go to so fukkinnn many. Really surprised this place hadn't been more busy the two times I've been there. Probably since I've been there both times on Tuesday but still. Yo, the broth is killer. Recipes are just on point. Got oxtail this 2nd time and it was insanely tender and flavorful. That concentrated broth that comes along with it is a meannn sipper. This is my gfs favorite pho joint in OC, which is a wild take cus I've taken her to Pho 79. The meat is supposedly all wagyu. I ain't no expert but hard to believe since the prices remain fair but I will say that the meat is FARRRR superior to most pho joint across the southland. Fatty, savory, tender and super scrumptious. All of it. Kudos. Highly recommend. Nice staff too.

Wagyu beef ribs, comes with 2 in the large order.

Food was very fresh and flavorful. The service was good and friendly. Very relaxed place with a small family owned ambiance. I would definitely recommend others to try it!

A great spot for pho!!! Our group was excited to try out "wagyu" pho for the first time! Now i am not too sure if it is true wagyu but you can really taste the fattiness in the broth and meat slices! All the pieces were tender and barely needed chewing! One thing that stood out to me was the rib cubes in the pho, which Ive never had before. It was nonetheless very tender and quickly became my first bite! The service here is super friendly and told us recommendations and frequently checked up on us. Overall, I am likely to come back- their fries and chicken wings look really good!

And I am SO glad we did because everything about our experience was seriously a 10/10! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was amazing. The gentleman at the front greeted us and escorted us to our table, and right away we felt welcomed and comfortable. Our server, Quang, was absolutely the sweetest! He was so friendly, outgoing, attentive, and helpful, especially when it came to giving us recommendations since it was our first time there. He had such a positive energy and really made our experience even better. And the FOOD!!! If I could give it 1,000/10, I seriously would. We tried the Ube Cloud, Vietnamese Iced Coffee, Garlic Parmesan Fries, Spicy Shrimp Wontons, Corn Ribs, Garlic Butter Prawns, and Filet Garlic Noodles, and honestly, there wasn't ONE thing we didn't enjoy. Everything was full of flavor and absolutely delicious. But what really stood out to us was that it wasn't just the food -- it was the entire experience. The staff, the atmosphere, the music, and just the overall vibe made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. The music they were playing was amazing too! My friend and I were enjoying ourselves, eating good food, listening to good music, and just having such a great time. The whole place honestly had such a warm, homey feeling to it. When we were leaving, the gentleman who had greeted and seated us earlier ended up having a whole conversation with my friend and me. He was so sweet and personable! He mentioned that they may be opening a location in Culver City, and I told him I really hope they do because that would be much closer to home for me. I was even joking with him that if they open one, they need to bring the whole staff from this location over there too because everyone here was THAT amazing. At the same time, even if there ends up being a location closer to me, I would honestly still make the drive back to this one. When you visit somewhere for the first time and have such a great experience, that location becomes special. You can visit the same restaurant somewhere else, but the people, atmosphere, and experience aren't necessarily going to feel the same. This location definitely left that kind of impression on us. I really hope this review reaches management because the staff here deserves the recognition. Everyone we interacted with was wonderful, and Quang especially took such great care of us. This was our first time at VOX Kitchen, but it DEFINITELY won't be our last. We're already talking about coming back and bringing our family and more of our friends so we can all enjoy it together. 10/10 food. 10/10 service. 10/10 atmosphere. 10/10 experience. You guys definitely gained some returning customers!

I personally liked the filet mignon more, but bf likes the beef belly more. They're both yum though! We always get extra bread with The Dao bc the slices they give are never enough! And we use the extra bread for the Banh Mi Chaos too. I'm usually not the biggest fan of asian fusion places, but Nep Cafe does it really well. For their other food, I've also had the Seafood Tom Kha Pasta which is incredible in flavor to Tom Kha. So if you don't like Tom Kha, then don't get this! We've had the crab toast which wasn't my favorite. I think their banh mi bread is tons better, so maybe have banh mi bread with the crab. The drinks are also delicious! I had the thai princess and it reminded me of the lychee martini at din tai fung, but better!! I loved the addition of lemongrass, it wasn't as alcohol forward like din tai fung's lychee martini. I also tried the beer that had a citrus flavor to it which is nice and a refreshing pairing to the creamy saucy food. Their coffees are also delicious, you can tell from looking around when you walk in bc everyone orders the drinks! Overall, all time fav brunch, I recommend Nep Cafe to everyone Service is always fast and friendly. Ambiance is beautiful for a brunch w the fam or going out w friends. The noodles in my bowl were incredibly soft and broken into very short pieces, almost like noodles prepared for a child. I'm quite certain they had been overcooked, as the noodles were so mushy and fragile that I couldn't even pick them up properly with chopsticks. I had to use a spoon just to scoop them up and eat. I've actually been to this restaurant many times because I really enjoy the beautiful atmosphere and the food is usually delicious. That's why this experience was especially disappointing. I hope the kitchen can pay more attention to the noodles and cooking time, because this definitely wasn't the quality I've come to expect from Nếp

Unlike your typical rotisserie or fried chicken, this place roasts their chicken in a large clay pot and the marinade is definitely not something that you can find easily. The smell of the chicken is so inviting on its own but you won't be able to smell it outside of the restaurant - gather some confidence and open that door! We got 1 whole chicken, bot chien, crispy rice, and a side of dry noodles. All of the sides are great - I've tried at least 1 option every time I come back here but my favorite is the dry noodles and crispy rice. Their chicken pairs TOOO WELL with the pickled veggies and their special soy sauce. I like mixing a little salt, pepper and lime in mine to make it extra sour but honestly, the chicken is great even without the sauce. It's a small restaurant and flagging down servers is not difficult but I love that they will come to check in on you pretty often without you putting out any effort. I either crave Spring rolls, Banh khot, Oxtail pho, egg rolls or egg noodle soup, viet wings and there's still many more things to try! One of my friends I met at personal training asked me out to lunch. We always eat well and this place was already on my list so I was game! Came in at a perfect time, right after a lunch rush. Sat down looked over the menu, pretty straightforward. Service was lovely, a little bit of language barrier but good nonetheless. We started with the Bot chien ( crispy rice cake with egg.) She asked if there was pork in the dish and they said no, she can't eat pork. It came out and it looked fantastic, looked like an omelet. I love eggy dishes! This was fantastic, definitely add a sauce like Sambal or Sriracha. We were off to a great start! But we came for the star of the show, Clay jar chicken with dry noodles!!! They set the bowls down and everything looked fantastic and smelled even better! A generous bowl of egg noodles, chicken and a side of broth in case you want to dip or just throw it in the bowl. We got to grubbin and it was instant love at first bite! The chicken was so tender and flavorful. We noticed these little cubes of tasty bits, we didn't know what they were because we didn't see it on the description, she already had a piece, we thought it was some sort of crispy bread crumb bits LOL. We asked the service and come to find out, it was crispy pork called Top Mo. We told them she can't have pork, they took the plate back. After a few minutes they came back. She asked is it a new dish or did you just pick them out. They picked them out. This is where the language barrier came into play. They didn't understand for a bit. I said she can't have pork because of her religion. That's when it clicked! Thank the Lord! Out came a fresh porkless new bowl and she could enjoy with me. They should've given me her previous bowl to go LOL I'm the pork Queen LOL. Overall a fantastic meal and I've been thinking about this meal for awhile. I need a reunion stat!!! Just so many good Vietnamese dishes in the area, it's hard to choose! I will be back!!!

The entrées were Immaculate. The gochujang pork belly with mashed potatoes was SO good. The pork was tender and practically pulled apart, while the mashed potatoes were creamy and soft. It genuinely felt like I was biting into heaven. Then came the dashi pesto udon with scallops. What a fusion. I loved the concept, the pesto was packed with flavor, the udon had a great texture, and the scallops had a beautiful sear. Momonoki is truly a hidden gem. Cozy atmosphere, creative dishes, and some seriously good food. 9/10

Awesome cozy little restaurant serving up dishes with big flavors with nice presentation and…read moreawesome service. Would definitely come back for a nice little date night. Baranzino: tender fish served with a savory broth. Delicious and pretty healthy. I would come back for this for sure. I did wish it came with something else outside of the fish for the price but still delicious none the less. 9/10 Yuzu ceasar: nice rendition on a Ceasar and the yuzu definitely came through and the lettuce was nice and crunchy. Great start to the meal. 9.2/10 Garlic parm fries: delicious, crunchy, hot. I think it could have been even more garlicky but that is my preference. 8.5/10 Arancini: solid take on fried arancini but I didn't really get the kimchi flavors. Still tasty and would order again but maybe it could dial those flavors up. 8.5/10 Miso bacon carbarnara: definitely one of the highlights of the meal. Everyone was scooping up every bit of sauce on this one. 9.5/10 Pork belly: the pork was flavorful and tender but the mashed potatoes under it was the real hero. 8.7/10 Pork jowl: this might have been my favorite thing along with the carbanara. The problem was extremely tender and yet still had some give. The accompanying sauce gave it a salty kick and wrapping it in lettuce really gave it that korean essence. 9.5/10 Overall, this place delivered on great food and would come back anyway for a fancy meal. Also shoutout to our server who dealt with the entire restaurant alone and didn't miss a beat.

Great service and chicken karaage this time was the juiciest and most moist we've had here. Think changed sauce it comes with as it's yuzu aioli now which I prefer but I could be wrong

Our waitress was always there when we needed her and would check up on us consistently! The place is very spacious, music was lively, and overall great atmosphere. Bathrooms were clean and it had a mouth wash dispenser including the cup As for food and drinks, everything was so delicious! Yuzu Lemonade was very refreshing and was a nice mix of the flavors. The yuzu and lemonade didn't overpower each other, and a nice touch of the mint leaf! Kei Coconut Ube had a nice taste to it. The sweetness was nice, super purple in color, and worth trying at least once. Drink definitely does not look or taste like a beer so think of it as a sparkling Ube drink when you try it. Beef Tongue appetizer was very tasty and the appearance was pretty. The sauce was very delicious with a hint of citrus. Beef Bowl Udon was delicious as well. The udon noodles are in the middle of the thickness level. Broth was nice and refreshing, and the beef belly was super soft and tasted amazing. Seafood Tom Kha Ramen was really good. Seafood in it were shrimps, scallops, and squid/calamari. Not too spicy, but had a nice kick to it. Veggies were nice and mixed well with the seafood ramen! Unfortunately, the eggs do not come with the udon or ramen, but they do have free unlimited ramen noodles!!! They let you get it for the udon broths as well! Would definitely come back to this place when I'm back in this part of town!
