I was surprised to see this restaurant almost empty at 11:30 am, but my family and I were pleased to get immediately seated. This restaurant closes early on Mother's Day, and we were one of only two groups dining in. We ordered two bowls of medium pho tai ($18/each), gyozas ($6), garlic butter chicken wings ($11), and special egg rolls ($9). The appetizers tasted great, and I really enjoyed the pho. The pho tai had a deliciously light broth. Even with a medium portion, the pho was filling. There was a decent amount of tender meat. They use sliced rare Wagyu steak, so the meat quality is really good here. As such, pho bowls here cost relatively more than those from other restaurants I've tried. As for the appetizers, I liked how the gyozas were freshly prepared and steamed. The garlic butter chicken wings were also large. While I didn't try the special egg rolls, my family enjoyed that there was shrimp inside. Our server was really polite with taking our orders and providing our food. Service overall is great here. We got a good refill of Thai basil upon our request. There were nice performances of Vietnamese ballads playing on a television screen. However, advertisements would pop up occasionally. At the end of the day, this is a great pho restaurant to visit in Little Saigon. Among many choices to try Vietnamese food in the area, I'm glad we chose this one. read more

A great spot for pho!!! Our group was excited to try out "wagyu" pho for the first time! Now i am not too sure if it is true wagyu but you can really taste the fattiness in the broth and meat slices! All the pieces were tender and barely needed chewing! One thing that stood out to me was the rib cubes in the pho, which Ive never had before. Not the best pho i've had but solid. My family and friend came here after dress shopping in westminster, shop itself is small with few table seatings. This place gives you option of small, medium, or large bowl which is nice since everyone has different appetites. I got the rare steak pho with rare steak ($14). They had the usual toppings like bean sprouts, lime, and thai basil. The steak was a bit stuck together when the soup came out but other than that the small was a good portion for me and the thick noodles were bouncy. We shared a side of truffle fries as well, generous portion for ($7), not overly salty and the truffle fries were not too overpowering. Overall service is fast with hearty pho. Super good. The pho broth and the meat selection is grat quality. The meats were so soft and tender, not grainy at all. The #15 pho meat combo had a little bit of each meat. They included a very smooth fatty meat which is a surprise from the regular selection. I even like their meat ball where it was soft and tender. Wanted to like this place, seems like a good alternative to popular pho places but if I come again gonna have to try and stick to what's recommended and see what I think then. 1. Shaken Chicken seemed bland even though color wise and garlic noodle they even had parmesan cheese on it, very unfortunate. Maybe it would taste more normal if I got the BEEF which is very standard. I picked this because it was a deviation from what's normally offered, thought it might be interesting. 2. Friend got small Pho. He said it was okay, nothing missing I think in particualr, he said the BEEF was certainly good - which is what you're paying for here, the Wagyu. (Although all Pho now is almost always $13-14). Mom & Pop shop it seems like. Little english, no problem service wise. Nice ambiance, can be hot and sunny when it's sunset so be aware of your seating choice. We are a family of 6 and they were able to accommodate our full group in one table. Tables are big in size so we were able to order a lot and space was not an issue. Seating is comfortable. Service: exceptional! I forgot to get our server's name though ‍ But he was very friendly, helpful, and patient (we have 3 little ones so ordering gets pretty hectic). Suggested some dishes and often came in to check if there was anything we needed during our meal. Food: 7 out of 5 stars. This is what took it home for me. Their broth is very good - even offering an option for fresh noodles (flat noodle) which is a plus because my son prefers flat to thin. I got the Shaking Beef with white rice. Beef is filet mignon and very tasty - marinated to the typical soy sauce/brown sugar sauce and had a lot of garlic which amplified the flavor. White rice is great - not too mushy and not too dry - just right. My husband got the Wagyu Fried Rice - very very very delicious! Will definitely be coming back for this dish. The only downside to the restaurant is that they don't provide restrooms for customers.
