Absolutely Worth the Visit I normally don't go out of my way to write reviews, but Thai Quality in Oxnard definitely earned it. I ordered the Pad See Ew with chicken and beef, and the flavor was out of this world. Perfect balance, rich sauce, and nothing needed to be added -- it was spot-on exactly as it came. The Basil Fried Rice was just as impressive. Packed with flavor, the spice level was right on point, and every bite had that fresh, aromatic Thai taste. I also tried the Tom Kha soup, and it was really good -- creamy, comforting, and full of mushrooms and herbs. Overall, this place delivered on everything. Great portions, amazing seasoning, and consistent quality across all the dishes. Definitely one of the better Thai spots I've tried, and absolutely worth checking out if you're in the area.

A local favorite for Thai food in Oxnard! While there aren't many Thai spots in the area, we're lucky that the ones we do have are fantastic--and Thai Quality Restaurant is one of our family's go-to places. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. On our last visit, we ordered the chicken Pad Thai, beef Pad See Ew, and beef fried rice--and we devoured every bite! The prices are very reasonable, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes the dining experience even better. If you're in the 805 and craving Thai food, this place is definitely worth checking out. Highly recommended!

You might feel a bit odd when first arriving at Thai Quality Restaurant--like something is a bit off somehow. But believe this: the food coming out of the kitchen served by a beautiful waitress who manages to smile while carrying food expertly to the table should be reason for rejoicing. The mixed vegetables with eggplant was tossed in a mild soy sauce dressing. Beef Panang creamy and rich as was the seafood Tom Kha soup. There is a wide variety of beverages to wash down all the yumminess. Definitely worth the drive to Oxnard...I will return for a third time soon.

The foods really wow me tbh I didn't have high hopes when I came in but as soon as I saw the spices box I knew it's going to be good. You guys have to try their jelly noodle salad (SA9): sour, salty, flavorful just what I like! Their Panang curry blew my mind too, I added the chilly fish sauce in and it was perfect

Exhausted after a day of field education at the nearby elementary school, I stumbled upon this gem of a spot in Oxnard. I have traveled a vast distance across ventura county from thousand oaks to simi valley to camarillo to oxnard and I THINK I have found a gem of thai place. As I walked in, I could see vast images of thai artwork strewn across the restaurant walls. This restaurant is huge compared to the surrounding stores in the lot and thus, I pondered, this must be a good place. I often use pineapple fried rice as a metric of how good the food is at a thai restaurant. It is a seemingly simple dish yet, there are a lot of things that can go wrong, including, not enough pineapple, no cashews, the rice is bland, et. cetera. However, this place hits all of the qualifications. The fried rice was fried perfectly, the pineapple pieces were crisp, the cashews adds to the texture of the rice, as well as the proteins. I had substituted chicken and shrimp for beef and pork. The meat was AMAZING. It is cooked to perfection that left a umami taste in your mouth. This would have been a 5 star review except for one thing, the service at night with waitress. The last 2 visit I had, it was during lunch time with a waiter who seemingly is the child of the owner of the place? Anyways he has TREMENDOUS service as he would take my order down within 10 seconds, understanding me, even when I place an order over the phone for dine in. The one star detraction is for the waitress staff at night who did not understand what I said on the telephone to the point of where I almost canceled because she kept thinking that subbing the protein for another protein as an "addition." We went back and forth over the phone more times than necessary until she asked her boss and explained the situation. I told her, you know what, maybe I would not place the order because of the upcharge. We eventually worked it out in the end where it was charged according to the previous 2 visits I've had. It makes it almost unnerving to place another order at night. It is such a great establishment where the food is the highlight with the pineapple fried rice priced JUST RIGHT as it stands. If you keep this up, you will have a large influx of customers because you have something unique going on here for your restaurant, dare I say, all of Ventura County. My

Wow! This was an awesome Thai Restaurant. Food was fresh, plentiful, flavorful, and tasty. There was a very large party, but service was still very good and the food came quickly. I asked for Thai Sweet and Sour Chicken which wasn't on the menu, but they had no issues making it, and it was delicious (I'm a Thai S&S Snob, so in comparison, it was one of the best). My husband had the Scallop and Eggplant and said it was also very good... you can't see them all, but there were about 7 good sized scallops... he says they definitely don't skimp on the scallops. He likes spicy food but ordered mild in case... wished he had gotten the medium. The place is clean and well kept, nothing fancy which is right up our alley!

Being from LA, we know when Thai food is good as there are a lot of places in LA that are delic! We moved to Oxnard and did a lot of trial and error before we found this gem. Their dishes are packed full of flavor. It tastes fresh and is served piping hot! I need my food piping hot! My favorite is their Coconut Curry with noodles, and their Coconut Curry Soup. Their Pad Suey is delic! Their fried rice was flavorful. The quality of their beef and chicken was excellent. They have great service if eating in. They need a bit of an upgrade as they do lack a bit of ambiance, but it is Oxnard so I guess that is expected in certain parts of town. We will only go here in Oxnard for our Thai food for now on. Thankful we found this place as we love good Thai Food. read more

I've eaten a lot of thai food and even had the opportunity to visit Thailand last year...Now that you know I'm credentialed, I can confidently tell you this food is GREAT! Finding a reliable thai restaurant in this area of California has been surprisingly difficult. This business has only been open a little while and you could easily drive past it without noticing if you weren't looking for it. The outside does not accurately represent the treasure you'll find inside! When you walk through the entrance you'll see the restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated. They offer lunch specials, take-out and none of the items on the menu are too pricey. Thai Quality is family owned as well so you know you're going to get amazing service. We had tom kha soup, pad see yew and tangerine chicken. Everything was delicious!! read more

Service was great, they greeted me as soon as I walked in. I have mixed feelings on the food, I ordered Tom kha and green curry with sticky rice. The soup was very tasty, everything was fresh, from the vegetables to the chicken. The green curry was very different, it had an overwhelming black pepper taste, the vegetables were fresh but the curry didn't have that distinct coconut milk flavor, it wasn't what I expected. The sticky rice was different also, it was purple with a slight crunch to the bite. I don't think I'll return. read more

This is the new Thai kid on the block. The service of the family is great. They are kind, recognized repeat customers and the chief is proud of his work. He's currently on my left letting other customers know about what he did to the food. They have hand painted walls, a lot of seating and there is plenty of parking space. We ordered Papaya Salad, Chili Fresh Fish and Scallop Eggplant and Tom Yum. The Papaya Salad and Tom Yum were fresh and delicious. They adjust the spice level to your liking. My family order mild on our entrees because we are weak. Oh-em-geeh!The Chili Fresh Fish and the eggplant melt in your mouth. The eggplant and scallop dish is my favorite We also ordered Thai Teas with boba and coconut juice with coconut meat in it. The sauce was good we asked to have the leftover sauce to-go. For dessert we got the sticky rice with Mango. They told us the mother made the dessert. It was nice and freshly made. So, the son cooks and the daughter runs the front and waits tables. Looking for Thai and tired of the other Oxnard places...so Yelp to the rescue. Very unassuming exterior but nice simple interior design. Food was very good (dumpling appetizer and Pineapple Fried Rice.) I really enjoyed the dumplings and the rice had large pieces of fresh pineapple. Really good. "Annie" had a great smile and seemingly genuinely happy to be at work. It wasn't busy as I was there early...so she was able to be very attentive and took time to talk without being "too present." I will be back soon!! read more

I ordered to yelp. Pick up time was not what we were told on the app. No worries, we ran other errands and came back to pick up our food. Food was good for a tiny location on a strip mall... usually the hole in the walls are the best. My only reason for not giving them more stars was that we only got 2 napkins. 2!!!! When taking orders to go, please give more than 2 napkins. It can mean 2 stars. read more

If you're in the mood for some THAI... look no further! This place has real authentic made with love THAI food!!! Come with a big appetite because, the portions are pretty nice to share. I love the good ol' PAD THAI with the shrimp. The Thai Tea is a must to get with this beautiful dish. You'll even appreciate the good service here!!! Wow we live Thai food that's is for sure! We recently moved to Oxnard and this place has to be the best in town. The quality was good and it tasted so fresh!! We ordered the pad Thai noodles and the Tom ka seafood hot pot with some fresh spring rolls . Their peanut sauce was amazing!! And wow the noodles fantastic! We can't wait to try this place again soon. We certainly want to try one of everything on the menus. It averages in price as a good deal. First time trying Thai Quality. Located in a small shopping center with other restaurants. They do have two tables outside for dine in. I ordered take out. I ordered beef salad- lots of meat but doesn't translate well take out. Spicy noodles- beware I ordered medium spicy and it was a level 10 heat. Great flavor but it was difficult to eat. Panang Curry- also ordered medium Spicy and it was a level 7 heat. My heat numbers are also based on my boyfriends high heat factor. Next time I will order mild spice level. Food was good however heat level was high. read more

Looks like a whole in the wall place, on a busy street in Oxnard where it can easily be missed if you blink. However, once you find this gem, it's hard to go back to any other Thai place. Thai food has been an absolute favorite of mine for over 20 years, and Thai Quality is my top favorite Thai restaurant in Ventura and Oxnard. I definitely recommend their Thai tea and Thai coffee. Their cashew chicken is absolutely delicious, pad Thai, drunken noodles, green papaya salad, and Tom yum soups are my go-to's! I have been trying to try other options on the menu, but as soon as I walk in the door, I immediately am reminded of my favorite dishes with such amazing aromas that I can't help to fall back on them However, I'm sure whatever you order will be an absolute delight! I found this place on accident. I was looking for the pho restaurant that use to be here. When I got inside, it was clean, quite, and had a very good vibe so I stayed and ordered. I got the spicy eggplant with beef and it was the best I've had since being here in oxnard. It comes with a side of white rice and they even gave me a Thai iced tea. The waitress was super nice and helpful with helping me make my decision. Most importantly, she was patient with me, I took like 20 minutes to look at the menu. This is a must try place if you love Thai food. read more

One star because that is the bare minimum i can give! Would not recommend this place... horrible customer service! The owner is so rude and disrespectful. Great food and a wonderful staff! The restaurant is very inviting; clean and spacious. Comfortable booths and a wide selection of food. I ordered the salted chicken wings: crispy skin and salted nicely. I also ordered the drunken noodle with beef and pad thai with chicken. At "medium" spice level it leaned further on the spicy side -- which was perfect for me. I'm very happy I found a good Thai food place close to home. read more

It did take a bit for the server to come back to take our order, but we did realize we came in 1/2 hour before closing, so we eased off a bit. My partner order the hot pot and was very happy with his choice. The server came back with a hot plate and instructed us how to cook the meat. I was a bit apprehensive about having to cook my own food, but the fragrant smell as it cooked changed my mind. The broth was flavorful and the veg and meat were tender as they soaked up the soupy goodness. I also ordered the boa buns and the pillowy texture, mixed with the soft pork and crunchy cucumber and carrots made my belly sing. We slurped up our food and cleared out as quickly as we could. I hate being that person that lingers at closing time. What I do regret is that I did not take more time at their counter as we exited because it was full of snacks and curios that I love. Next time for sure!

Their hot bar is also solid. A wide selection of items to pick and I felt the pricing was reasonable. Actually throughout the whole store the prices are good compared to other grocery stores right now. I had a full bag of items for $50, good luck elsewhere getting those kinds of prices. I didn't have too much of an interaction with the staff while there, but again, lots of people working and keeping this spot in tip top shape. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented--many of our guests went out of their way to compliment it and asked where we had ordered from. The restaurant also went above and beyond by including utensils, napkins, and a variety of sauces, which made things so much easier for us. We've dined here many times before and have always loved the food and the consistently excellent service. This was our first time ordering for a large event, and it exceeded all expectations. We ordered the tempura udon and the katsu don, both items came out fresh and hot. The tempura were well fried and the meal felt like a warm hug. I do wish that the tempura was a slightly larger portion, so it will be better paired with the large bowl of udon. Overall, it was a delicious meal and we will be back again.

I like how they have a full separate menu with all the food pictures on it. The food came relatively quick in like 20 minutes. I ordered a chicken Katsu ramen and it didn't disappoint. It smelled and tasted really good and the broth had a lot of taste. It's a little more on the salty side, but I like it. The spice level is about perfect but it can go a little more hot. The ambiance was quiet as there were not too many people.
