We stumbled into Thai Rhapsody one night about 10 minutes before 12am. The OPEN sign was still lit, but I knew they were closing soon. I figured I'd give it a try since I was craving Thai food and nothing else was open. We went here when they first opened and thought the food was good... good competitor to Thai Bistro down the street. But other places opened and served our taste buds better... ANYWAYS, the man at the door didn't hesitate to ask how many people were in our group and graciously sat us. We knew what we wanted, so we ordered quick. Yes, I wanted my Thai food, but I didn't want to keep them waiting either. Our food came out by 12am and we finished by 12:15am... not once did they rush us. In fact, they turned the music back on so it wasn't so awkwardly quiet in the dining room. I praise the fact that they aren't one of those restaurants who stamp at 9pm closing time but stop seating at 8:30pm. Thank you Thai Rhapsody. As for the food, the Phad Thai had too many bean sprouts for my liking, was on the smaller portion size and had not enough spice for 3 stars. The Basil Fried Rice was good and at a good portion size. Our go-to spot for Thai food in Mill Creek. We normally get carry out but the few times we've dined in have all been good experiences. The servers/staff are always very friendly and attentive and the interior clean and dimly lit - providing a comfortable mood. Their Phad Thai is flavorful and I especially love their Drunken Noodles - which has HUGE flavors from their thai chili sauce and veggies. If you you like spicy foods and enjoy fresh wide noodles, their Drunken Noodles will blow your socks off! I'm salivating as I write this!! read more

I love Thai food, and this Thai restaurant is yummy! The atmosphere is impressive. The decorations are inviting and interesting, and make it feel like you're not sitting in the Mill Creek center. I'm always a fan of restaurants with fancy adult beverages, and Thai Rhapsody doesn't disappoint in the cocktail department. They also have a number of non-alcoholic mocktails that are pretty and tasty. The food here is really good. There's nothing really special on the menu, but everything I've had has been tasty. If you have room for dessert and are so inclined, try the Coconut Ice Cream with Fried Banana Rolls plate...it's yummy! And that's saying something because I hate coconut and am not a fan of ice cream! I'm pretty picky with Thai food, since most thai restaurant's flavor varies a lot on the same dish. I have to say Thai Rhapsody hits the delicious note when I tried it. Their dishes are flavorful and balanced. I would say they make one of the best Pad-Tai up north! (if you are in Seattle, try May's which is just as good). I enjoyed the couple meals that I had here. Favorite place to have Thai food in the north end. Conveniently located in Mill Creek town center, parking is pretty easy. The restaurant is nicely decorated with rich colors and dark wood, very Thai-inspired but also clean and well-kept. Booths are great for trapping rambunctious kiddos. The place is perfect for a family dinner or an intimate date night. Service is always wonderful! The owner is so friendly and hospitable, he remembers you after you've been in a time or two and greets everyone like his close old friend. The food is terrific! Authentic and full of flavor. I've only been here a couple of times (same with the company I was with) but the server immediately remembered us and was extremely pleasant. I had a craving for spicy tum yum and curry (I think we got the red curry) - being as I like my food spicy, of course we got the most starts possible on EVERY dish. We also ordered the steak and sticky rice. Everything was so good. Don't let your eyes deceive you, the servings don't look that big but boy were we full. Don't be a wimp - order your food "SPICY". You can handle it...trust me. This restaurant is in the Mill Creek Town Center, there isn't usually a wait. I like their Tom Kah Soup (Hot and sour soup with coconut milk, mushrooms, lemon grass, chili paste and lime leaves). $11.99 and big enough to share with 3 people. I also like their Crispy Garlic Chicken, and their Red Curry. The staff is friendly. They have a full bar. Why 3 stars? I've lived in the area for almost 3 years. We are a big fan of their crispy garlic chicken (the best in town in my opinion)! They have good pad thai, phad see ew, and basil eggplant too. Their phad kee mao is a bit too saucy for me and my fiance, but not bad. We usually get the noodle dishes with tofu, shrimp, or chicken. We ordered them with beef once, and meat quality if a bit iffy, so we have avoided it since. Their prices are a tad on the high side when compared to other thai places in the area (e.g. BMG Thai, Silver Spoon, or Chili Basil). Their decor and atmosphere is quite nice for a Thai restaurant, so I guess that's how I would justify the higher prices. Definitely good food, but there's just as good or better for less money. I came here for lunch with a couple of buddies during our lunch hour so we didn't check out the drink selection. We ordered the Curry Fried Rice and Vegetables, Red Curry with prawns, and the Phad See Eew with chicken. They served us some soup before our entrees, which wasn't very memorable. I figure it's to cleanse your palate. The Phad See Eew was superb. It had a great aroma. Their was a little browning of the edges of the noodles and some of the vegetables. The flavor was perfect. The Red Curry was a little sweet and had great flavor overall. The Curry Fried Rice was great, too. The staff was friendly and pretty good at keeping our water glasses full. Our server did forget to bring the chili sauces on the side that I asked for(my buddies weren't up for too much heat). Now, the reason I only gave them 3 stars is the price relative to the portions. The Red Curry was barely enough for 2 people and the Phad See Eew was served on what must have been a big salad plate. Only the Curry Fried Rice looked like a full size entree. All these dishes START at $10, with seafood costing a little extra. In contrast, Thai Bistro just down the street is a little pricey, but their portions are bigger than Thai Rhapsody AND the food is better. I've had Thai food all over the Metropolitan Seattle area and this place just doesn't justify the prices. I love this place! This is one of the main restaurants my husband and I go to on our date nights. We always order the chicken satay for an appetizer and I usually order the Pad See Ew and a Thai Iced Tea for a drink. I think their food is delicious, though I don't know what authentic Thai food tastes like. It's not usually packed with people and noisy, which is a nice change compared to most restaurants. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and has great ambiance, and the service has always been good for us. They remember where we like to sit and always seat us there. And once they messed up our dessert order (see note below) and brought out the correct one no problem. My husband and I have come here for years now, and everyone we've introduced to this restaurant loves it. We've also brought our toddler with us on some occasions and he does very well while there. NOTE: If you say you want the deep fried ice cream, they usually bring out the homemade coconut ice cream with the mini fried banana lumpia (it's not called lumpia there, but I forget what they call it). I'm not sure why (maybe because we've ordered it before and they just assume that's the one we want), but if you want the deep fried ice cream and not the coconut ice cream with banana lumpia, make sure to order the Deep fried ice cream with the strawberry and chocolate glaze. read more

My friend and I went here for dinner after I decided to deviate from my normal Thai restaurant. Big mistake. We got there and it was dead at dinner time, there was maybe one other table of 2 in the restaurant. That should have been our first clue. Then, it took about 10 minutes before anyone took our order. The next issue was after the server took our order, she literally walked to the pass and back with the appetizers we had just ordered. She wouldn't have had time to even put them in a P.O.S. system or call them out to a chef. The appetizers (crab wonton and sautéed green beans) tasted like they had been sitting there cooked for 2 days. The crab wontons were stale and cold and the green beans were rubbery and bland. Then the entree came and it was just as disappointing. I ordered the dish that is the equivalent to Phad Woon Sen at other Thai restaurants. It hardly had any veggies and the sauce wasn't incorporated into the noodles well. It wasn't as bad as the appetizers but sub-par at best. I don't remember exactly what they got, but it was an eclectic enough mix of things that it makes me confident enough to say that anything at Thai Rhapsody is likely better than most other Thai restaurants. The basil chicken (or whatever it's called here) had a great flavor and batter, but it was cooked a little too long, because the chicken was a little dry. Came here for lunch, food was actually good. Until it was pointed out to me that the chef wasn't wearing a mask. Not to sound like a Karen or anything... but that's not acceptable. I do understand that the kitchen does get hot. And it gets hard to breathe with a mask on.. but come on now. If it's mandatory for me to walk in your establishment with a mask on. The stand out feature of this restaurant when I walked in was definitely the decor and lighting - the perfect mood for dining. Aside from the amazing decor, the food is amazing especially the Pad Thai and crispy garlic chicken. The food comes out so fast! Within 5-10 minutes of ordering, our food is already out. I have been here several times and every dish I've had so far have been so fragrant and perfectly balanced in flavor and spice. What really made my experience here so memorable was the wonderful attitudes the service had and the humble owners who really go out of their way to make sure our meals are enjoyable. Went here for Mother's Day and my parents loved it. This was my mom's very first time at a Thai Restaurant. She loved every bit of it, from the cosmo and tofu satay, to the Seafood Volcano and Drunken noodles. Great first impression for my mom. A beautiful décor, wonderful Thai food, great staff and a full bar. It doesn't get any better then this for a first class Thai dining experience. The Thai Rhapsody provides wonderful MSG free tasty food which will make you revisit often. It has a large parking area by the back entrance to the restaurant. They are children friendly with a kiddy menu. Children will love the chocolate ice cream cake they are currently serving but it is not listed on their web site menu. I have tried much of the menu; I have a few dinner favorites: Appetizer...Prawn Roll, Entrée...Crying Tiger (Thin Sliced NY Steak) and the Angel Eggplant. Their wine and draft beer selection is good but most of all I like their specialty drinks which are superb. The Pear Martini, James Bond Vesper Martini, Cosmo and Mango Martini are among my favorites. I can not praise the staff more highly they always go beyond expectations. We went to Thai Rhapsody for the first time and it was delicious. The service was great. The decor is lovely. The appetizer was the only negative. We got the appetizer sampler and it was not great. But the main dishes were wonderful. We got phad thai, mussamun curry, and larb and they were so good. And I got a drink off the special menu that had mango, passion fruit, orange, and ginger ale that was fabulous. And needless to say we left with leftovers. Was here for a really late dinner last night. 9:30pm on a Sunday? My friends and I had been moving things all day and got hungry and wanted Thai food. Bless this place for being open late on a Sunday. We didn't think we'd find any Thai restaurants open that late but we did. The decor in this place is nice! A lot nicer than a lot of Thai places I've been too before. They have a pretty extensive menu as well. I usually order Pad Kee Mao but because I already had Thai earlier this week I thought I'd order something else. I got pad Thai with prawns and my friends order crying tiger and pad see ew with tofu. I haven't had pad Thai in a couple years, I'm really picky about how it taste and usually don't like it if it's too sweet but the pad Thai here was so good! And the portions are huge! I ate a little less than half and have a full meal today for lunch. I tried my friends pad see ew and to my surprised, did not like how sweet it was. I really can't handle food that are too sweet. I order a chicken phad thai over the phone and the person had to repeat it to me chicken phad Thai and I went to go my order and went home it wasn't what I order and called them back. I came here today with my friends for lunch today and boy was I surprised! Who would think that there would be decent Thai food in Mill Creek Town Center! And you know it's pretty good if this is coming from a half-Thai girl ;). We decided to sit outside to enjoy the fantastic weather! For lunch, they give everyone a complimentary soup which consists of tofu and some peas, corn, and carrots. It tasted like miso soup, but I've never eaten anything like this in Thailand before. They have 4 different lunch combination plates that all come with rice and Pad Thai for $7.50 from 11am-3pm. Both my friends tried this with the Chicken Red Curry. They both liked the dishes and had some leftovers. I decided to get the Beef Drunken Noodles for $7.95. It was tasty!!! I asked for 3 stars and I'm glad it did! It had just the right amount of spice to it....you know the sensation where your eyes are almost on the verge of crying and your lips get tingly every time you take a bite of the food. The spices were great and so were the flavors! My only complaints were that the beef was chewy and it felt like the waitress was trying to kick us out for some reason.... Pros: - Drunken noodles were very flavorful! - It was actually spicy! usually I have to get a 5 at most restaurants before I can even really taste anything Cons: - Lunch combination plates should have more options....4 is not enough!!! - Beef was tough and chewy - It felt like the waitress was trying to get us to leave even though the restaurant wasn't busy....can't a couple of girlfriends just hang out for a bit and talk after they have paid their bill?? So I've been on a kick writing long neglected reviews for joints I frequented back home. This was my all time favorite Thai place, and it STILL is! I'll admit, this is out of the way for anyone not living in the Mill Creek/North Bothell area, but it is worth the drive if you are from out of the area. Mill Creek Mall has lots to offer, so you could consider coming up here from some holiday shopping... think University Village. You walk in, and the ambiance is sweet... nice big bar separate from the dining area that is kid friendly and has big tables and booths. Wide selections of beer (all asian beers you could want), and lots of drink specials as well. The dinner menu is expansive, but I have had the most luck with the "specials" which has always surprised me.... the Crispy Garlic Chicken blows my mind away, and I'm missing it right now at 9:20AM?!? This place does get pretty packed, so plan accordingly...and remember, there is always plenty of parking in the back, with a separate entrance back there as well. read more

Not overly noisey or constantly asking us how everything was but just the right amout of attentiveness. :) I'm not a big thai fan anyhow, but as far as I know our food was good. I work across the street and order carry out a couple times a month. Food is always on point. I usually get the pad Thai cause staples are a thing for a reason. Prices are fairly reasonable. I think they may have had a price increase recently, but it's not bad. I think I pay $12 with tax, prior to tip for my food. It's certainly worth it. Wandering around the Mill Creek town center, we found ourselves in this very nice restaurant. We were seated immediately and five minutes later sipping our drinks and checking a nice and varied menu. The food came fast, could be we were talking a lot. The music in the background was upscale pop. Both of us shared our selections which were excellent. I have such mixed review. Great food, but the service was so terrible I'm not sure it's worth going back. My boyfriend and I went on a Friday night around 715 ish. We were told there were no tables but we would be next, I decides we might as well wait in the bar when the host checked our ID's before we went in (which I get) from there we enter an empty bar except for a man finishing his beer. The bartender didn't acknowledge us, and went about her business. It took her 15 min to come over to is where she asked for our ID's again( ok, no big deal) she was very short, and obviously on a rush. She takes our order then runs off again. Then, a third person comes (after we order) and asks for our ID's a third time. She's comes back with our drinks, never offered us water, and then not brought one coaster( for my boyfriends beer, not my cocktail) after 25 min my boyfriend finally checks on our table(since we we're suppose to be the next to be seated) and then finally we were seated (where we carried our own drinks) The food, on the other hand was great. The Pad see ew and the drunken noodles were very flavorful and delicious. We also ordered the crispy green beans ( blanched not fried) and they were also super good! For dessert the coconut ice cream was okay. What can I say about this place. I just love it!the first thing that amazed me was how amazing this place looks. It was a dark but not too dark of setting. They have an amazing looking bar and their booth seats were comfortable to sit in. Now, let's talk food. The noodle dish I ordered (I can't remember the name worth the life of me) was so tasty I could eat this for months at a time and not be tied of it. It is not to oily and not to heavy as well. Even though it was egg noodle, I was surprised that I was not that full. The second dish was the green curry with chicken. It also had egg plant in it as well. The seasoning of it was exceptional and the look of it looked creamy and thick. Just the way I like it. I really love this place! The servers always has a smile on their face. They are the most nicest people I have met. They are not overly president and the atmosphere is very quite, laid back, but still romantic at the same time. We came here cause the review sounded good. They did sit us quickly and the customer service was good but the food was not that great. We got the soft rolls (aka summer rolls) with shrimp and it was ok barely any shrimp too much ginger. And then we go the drunken noodles and the three kings platter with a side of rice because none of them came with it and for 4 platters and 2 drinks it was $120. Yeah not worth what I paid for. The food is good, small portions, the service however is very mediocre. We come here because it's usually quick in and out for some good Thai. But today I got really irritated that the server checked on us only once after delivering our food and never smiled or acted friendly. We have to ask for more napkins every time we come. We have a six month old with us, we need our server to at least check in periodically for water and napkins. On our way out, it seemed as if our waitress was avoiding eye contact. I placed an order online for pick up today, consisting of two orders of chicken pad Thai, and a side order of the prawn soft spring roll. The pad Thai was fair, but nothing to write home about, one order was spicy and the other mild, however both were extremely mild. The extra hot sauce they included was a 1 oz. plastic cup, but only about a half inch of sauce in it. The disappointment was the prawns soft spring roll, it was basically a thick roll of wrapped lettuce and a minuscule dash of carrot gratings with a crunchy cracker in the center.There was no prawns on any of the 4 rolls. I called the restaurant to report a problem, and they told me to return it and they would replace it. Unfortunately I do not live in Mill Creek and there is 6 inches of snow on the ground so very difficult to go back for an $11 item. I asked them to just refund the cost on this one item. The manager, Sandi, called me back and agreed to refund the cost of the spring roll. That was much appreciated. read more
