Lol don't listen to the haters...felt compelled to write my first yelp review to come to this restaurant's defense: We ordered from this place with zero expectations based on the reviews and were pleasantly surprised with the quality. We've lived up and down the northeast (including NYC) which has a saturated Asian food scene, and this place was on par with many "comfort style" Thai food places we've come to know and love. Egg rolls were crispy and delicious. Pad Thai had fried rice were well seasoned. Miso soup was just what my dehydrated ass needed after a long day on the West Rim. For the love of god people you're outside a national park in the middle of nowhere in Utah. It's incredible that a place of this quality exists at all. My husband wanted Thai food and I was hesitant because there weren't many reviews on this place. Anyway, I ordered their shrimp green papaya salad and I absolutely loved it. I am a fan of this specific dish, but the dressing can make it or break it. The dressing here was fantastic, spicy but just perfectly spiced to enjoy it. My husband had their fried rice with chicken and loved it too. Service was quick and very efficient. The restaurant was really clean in all areas. Convenient place for dinner with the free shuttle bus dropping you off just about at their front door. The place looks beautiful inside and the menu covers Indian, Thai, Japanese and Chinese dishes. The Samosas were very good as were the Shrimp Green Curry and the Thai Coco, which was chicken in a coconut and lemon grass sauce. The reason for 3 stars; we were dining with another couple and half the group was almost finished before the other was even served. Our spice level was fine but unlike other Thai restaurants, you cannot ask for the level to be adjusted more to your liking. We went to Thai Sapa for dinner, read the reviews before Dine-in, did not have much other options as it was late in the night. Our experience was subpar, been to many Thai restaurants in the past, this one stood out one of the worst. We ordered Chicken Dumplings as Appetizers, it was horrible. It was like fried chips, very dry with no chicken inside. Entrees was very small quantities even we ordered four dishes for three people, it was not even sufficient for two people. On top of it, they added 18% service charges. It seems owner is very greedy and wants to make quick bucks. I will not go again there. read more

As a family of vegetarians, we went to Thai Sapa and we ordered delicious yellow curry, mouth watering fried tofu and fresh Springdale stir fried and orange chicken and ended off with a soft mango sticky rice. Went after a hike at zion, Way Treated was very poor. Management was very rude to my family as they were complaining about a dish prepared wrong way. Almost Everything we ordered was wrongly cooked. We asked for vegetable fried rice and they put tofu and chicken. Then The thai tea was the worst as they put so much sugar on it. My dish lacked of Flavor and spices it Was pad thai. The only positive I have to Say is the two younger people at front were very nice to us. But magagement sucks, felt unwelcomed and feeling to never come back. read more

For a Thai restaurant in Utah we didn't have high expectations but it was pretty decent. Food: I got the red panang curry and my boyfriend got the yellow curry. Both curries tasted like typical curries we've had before. My cousin got pad Thai and she enjoyed it but the chicken was very dry. She also got Thai tea (no boba as it wasn't available). Her boyfriend got drunken noodles, the noodles were bigger than we're used to but it tasted alright. My cousin also got papaya salad and honesty it was laughable. We asked the waiter for a level 8 but he said they don't do spice levels and all the dishes are set a medium spice because dishes have been sent back by previous customers for being too spicy and it's a waste since they drive out to Vegas for their inventory. When it arrived to our table I seriously laughed out loud because there were actually pieces of lettuce in the dish. Being Cambodian I've had and made papaya salad before so it was strange to see lettuce. The fish sauce they used also tasted like store bought instant fish sauce and there were no Thai chili peppers but pepper flakes. Comforting food practically right outside Zion National Park's Springdale entrance. Thai Coco dish with chicken was warm, spicy (the herbs and spices kind, not the ghost chili kind) and was a true comfort especially when you eat it with the white rice. Their Pho can come with any meat you want, but the vegetarian in the group ordered this dish so it had to come with fired Tofu. The fried Tofu is great. The soup had a very distinct Thai flavor rather than Vietnamese (lemongrass maybe) so it kinda threw me off. Chow Mein can also come with any meat you want and we chose chicken. Their Chow Mien is great. Papaya Salad is great! The sweet flavoring coming from the Tom Yum was also kinda throwing me off. I kept scooping soup looking for the shrimp but couldn't find any. Found out later from the receipt that they gave me a Vegan Tom Yum, not the seafood Tom Yum that I thought I ordered. Lots of parking spaces if you drove in. read more

Ugh. Another miss in Springdale. If I had to use one word to describe the food here it would be BLAND. After being in Moab for two weeks and finding a ton of great food, I had high hopes for Springdale. But, unfortunately, this town has been a complete disappointment on the food front. Similar to Moab, this town has a captive audience of tourists doing outdoorsy things, but the difference is the food in Moab is quality enough to love some of their restaurants and return a few times. I'm still looking for a place I would return to here in Springdale. First, the service is fantastic. Prompt, friendly and efficient. Appreciated that we could bring our own bottle of wine with us. Restaurant is clean and has a nice vibe inside. The vegetarian egg rolls were the highlight of the meal. They were tasty and came with a side of greens and mint that they suggested you wrap around the egg roll to eat. This was quite nice and I might do this from here on out with mint. The drunken noodles looked good, veggies were fresh and cooked nicely, but the flavor of the entire dish was just lacking. It wasn't bad or anything, but it just existed in it's non-flavor. Next, my partner got the Stir Fry, and said the exact same thing - it completely lacked flavor. Nothing bad, but nothing good either. Lastly, the vegetarian fried rice had an odd flavor. Almost sweet? I can't describe it, but it wasn't what I was expecting and I've never had corn in my fried rice before. I really wanted to like this place, I had very high hopes. But, in the end, I wouldn't come back. But, if you are stuck in this food lacking town, you might have to go here. read more

Decided on Asian food for dinner so we decided to stop here and grab food to go. The staff who assisted with our order was nice. We ordered a few dishes with extra rice and we were short an order of rice. They also put one order of our rice in the same container as the stir-fry veggie dish which made it sort of soggy due to the liquid form the stir fry. The wonton soup was so so. The broth was basically instant beef pho broth. The pad Thai were okay. The drunken noodle was different from what we're use too but it was also okay. Both the red and green curry were good. The Thai tea were also good. Not much choices of Asian food here so will probably come back if I'm the area if the people I come with want Asian food. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Service was nice but the food was TERRIBLE!! They claim to be vegan, good luck with that. The cross contamination is ridiculous. We arrived at Thai Spa after a full day hiking in Zion. The location is convenient and you can easily walk from the park entrance to the restaurant. We put our name on the list upon arrival and we were told the wait for two was about 15 minutes. The host had his hands full, busy bussing tables, cleaning, calling names and setting up the tables. They would probably benefit from some help on that regard. Upon sitting for food, the service was good and our server was very polite. The menu looked great and very diverse with food from different south east countries from Thailand to Vietnam, Cambodia and Taiwan. I ordered the samosas and a Tom kha Gai soup (Thai coconut soup) . The samosas looked great when I got them, but upon taking the first bite, I was greeted with a frozen potato center.. obviously these samosas were not made recently and were not properly defrosted.. I promptly sent them back and cancelled them, I was not in the mood for restaurant food that came out of the freezer. My soup was the least authentic tom kha soup I have ever had, it tasted nothing like coconut and the flavor was more on the extra sweet side. Really really disappointng. My feeling is that Thai Sappa tried to over reach and offer too many food choices that were not well thought out. Maybe just focus on one stye of food you can do very well? Excellent food. We did a morning hike and wanted a bite to eat, passed by this place and immediately walked in when we saw the special was wagyu beef bahn mi. (The meat option was inconsequential, my partner loves bahn mi. There was pork as well.) I ordered the chicken satay as an app. Delicious!! It came with a peanut sauce that was slightly more sweet than I've made or eaten, but very yummy. I also ordered pad Thai. It was smothered in incredible sauce. It was all elevated by the mango green tea I drank with it. For those who eat gluten free or vegan, each dietary need is clearly labeled on the menu. I felt safe ordering and didn't get sick. I was skeptic after seeing the reviews. My hotel Cliffrose is across the street. So I called for take out around 6:30pm. No one pickup the phone. I risking my life crossed the main road after dark. Yikes. I hate to leave a bad review but the bland food here left a lot to be desired. Poor quality also.

Food: 3/5 - We got the spring rolls, Tom Kha soup (large - split with 4 ppl), Drunken noodles, and Yellow curry. The portion sizes were on the smaller size, and taste of food was decent (not bad at all, but not amazing either). The food did not come hot to the table. Price: 5/5 - Average Thai place. Our total for 4 ppl for 4 items was ~$80 + tip. Service: 3/5 - They had many signs up saying they would be slow since they were working at half staff capacity. We had to wait 15 minutes to be seated, and then they forgot they had seated us so took some more time to get water and for the staff to take our order. Our waiter was very nice and even recommended us to get the Drunken Noodles over the Pad Thai (said the vegan PT was not good). The food took a long time to come out though, and it was clear things were slow in the kitchen. We were warned about this, though - hence the 4 stars. They also made a mistake with our bill and charged us for an item we did not order, but were prompt in fixing it. Thanks to the owner for responding to my review, but I think that your name using Thai food should be MORE authentic Thai OR you should CHANGE your name or put FUSION somewhere on your sign. So people won't be confused and expect Thai food. It's good to know that your place has No MSG, but it's different story of making Thai food.. From my experience in Thailand where I grew up, and the good restaurants that I went to never use MSG and I believe most of the restaurants don't use it. They use fresh ingredients and spices to make fresh and delicious dishes and of course no need MSG. You said you been to Thailand and tried Pad Thai in Khao San Rd, and it wasn't good but have you tried Pat Thai Thip Samai, the legendary Pad Thai that both Thais and foreigners line up 1/4 of the mile every night for it ? That's just one little corner of Bangkok city, one of the best and not counting so many many wonderful Thai restaurants near by and they don't use MSG and they make wonderful Pad Thai ! Your FREE STYLE version of Pad Thai maybe ok to some customers who don't know or expect Thai food but for sure not me. Our family of 4 enjoyed the food at Sapa!! Thai food is always a little difficult b/c your favorites back home never taste the same at another restaurant. Things were different here but all very good! The chicken satay was especially good! The Tom Yum soup was very different but very flavorful and delicious. The red curry was a little bland but still good (our waiter told us the green curry had more spice). The noodle dish had noodles that were more like doughy pancakes...my husband liked it more than normal drunken noodles, and my daughter liked it less. The worst Thai restaurant I've been to. I was hoping for some good Asian food near Zion park but was so disappointed. Everything I had was the worst Thai dish I've ever tasted - Tom yum soup, papaya salad, pad Thai. These are staple Thai dishes but this place couldn't even make those dishes taste decent. I could not even finish my plates. My daughter got their pho with beef (beef was extra!) and it was $22 for a small bowl of pho!?! I hate to write a bad review but this place was that bad.
