I drove over an hour to this place. After arriving they did not have my food prepared and they kept saying it was being packed up for 20 minutes straight. I get home with the food (and I am an hour away mind you) and the order was incorrect. They left off my chicken and they charged me for it. Also my 2nd meal was not as described. I requested a refund, but much like money hungry people in this world and restaurants they do not put any care into customer service for guest and they denied my request. I did not even eat the food and I took pictures of it. I would have taken it back, but I was too far at that point. I called them and they even told me to mail it back? How up-surd it that. Then they also tell me no management is onsite. Who operates like this? I will boycott this place. Also I wonder how the person on the other side of the phone or the workers would feel if their pay was deducted from the treatment they provided. They named it "THAI" but it was definitely not a 'thai'. I was very excited to try this new Thai restaurant as they opened recently which has ample of good reviews. The place looks good but I just came out of the restaurant with a bitter experience. I have never had Thai food that I genuinely could not eat until today. I ordered a basil fried rice (chicken) and I am surprised that they couldn't make it properly. The rice seemed like they boiled in water and directly dumped in your plate and it didn't even taste like jasmine rice - looks like they used some other grain of rice. The meat (chicken) is definitely canned or preboiled which is really tasteless, flavorless and very bland. I could only eat 2 spoons, paid my check, left the restaurant and I will certainly not return. read more

Somewhat decent Thai food that reminds me of a schizophrenic uncle that may have taken to many hits of acid in the 60's and their brain is fried part of the time. One time the dish will be one of the best of your life and the next time it will be the worst. I guess that is okay if it wasn't a little too pricey and the service didn't completely stink. We were fans at first but after a couple times the fake cricket noises, the bad service and inconsistent food just make you never want to come here again! read more

They have redone the space beautifully from what is was. Bright, airy and comfortable. Lunch prices are reasonable and come with a clear chicken soup. We ordered the shrimp dumplings and they were okay, the filling was dense and a bit overcooked. Had hokkien mee with shrimp and it had very little flavor to be honest. A little of the hot sauce from the condiment tray on the table helped. My friend's kung pao chicken had the same problem. It should have been spicy and full of flavor but lacked both. I might go back for a quick lunch but not sure it will be on my regular list for thai food. read more

Have to update my review - in the last few weeks ..since around 8th or 12th of August - the owner Ba Mun (sp?) has listened to her patrons and started using fresh unboiled meat. I said in the beginning this place has the potential to be the best ...and for last 3-4 weeks we have been there for takeout and dine in on average 2-4 times a week and most days both lunch and dinner. This is how good they are ....their cuisine and flavor is Thai food you would eat at a Thai family home. You can also also see the increase in traffic ...every time I have visited they have been slammed at lunch and also dinner. Disregard any bad reviews you see here since they have to be from competitors or someone who doesn't know good food. The owner sold his old restaurant and started this one from scratch and he has improved the flavors. I've been here 2x for lunch and both times food was excellent. Service is exceptional, you will not want for a server. If you want a romantic, just the two of us, special night sort of feeling the servers may feel like a third wheel with how often they are there checking on you. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated with soft lighting. The food is very good. Some items aren't quite authentic but still have a very good flavor. The prices are a bit on the high side and the portions are rather small but neither has not stopped me from returning multiple times. They offer items not frequently found in other Thai restaurants in the area so that alone will keep me returning time and again. I would definitely recommend trying them out for yourself. read more

My partner and I went in for a celebratory lunch. We were both very hungry. I ordered a dish that was a combination of a salad and a hot dish. Sounded interesting. My partner's dish arrived quickly and I was told mine was on it's way. I proceeded to watch my partner eat his lunch, while the servers kept coming by to tell me they were chopping the vegetables for my dish. I proceeded to watch new customers come in, order, and be served, while I kept being told my food was coming out any second. My partner ate slowly and finished. Diners nearby were finishing their food. Finally, I told them to just wrap mine up to go. I still had to wait. Were they growing the veggies while I waited? Our server finally brought my food wrapped up and apologized, stating that the cook had gotten the order wrong and, when he was corrected, he said he was going to make all the other meals ordered in the restaurant first. I guess that included anyone who walked in after me. Seems I was being punished for his mistake. I didn't eat the food I brought home for 2 days. I was too upset about it. It definitely changed the mood for the day, especially when I left the restaurant starving. When I finally ate it, it was very good. So, my advice is to order to go. But, I will likely not order at all. That experience left a very bad taste in my mouth and there are plenty of other Thai restaurants around to choose from. That was a disappointment. read more

These folks treated me horribly. Gave me soup with lid not secure and it leaked all over my car seats through the plastic bag. They didn't even acknowledge this issue when I told them and no apology. Just repackaged my soup in a new bag and handed it to me to leave. read more

One of the most bizarre experiences I have ever had. The "Open" sign was up so we walked in. The host came from the back and told us they were not open, but we could sit and wait a few minutes. No problem. We asked for the window seat and she said yes, then came back with menus and took our drink orders. She then walked to the front door and changed the sign to "Closed." She went to the back, returned and told us they were actually closed and would charge us $20 extra for the window seat.
