Ok first of all let me say this is a review for a pick up order for myself from DoorDash. I had zero issues with the pick up itself- the food was ready on time (fast service for sure) & had no problem obtaining it once I arrived. Staff was courteous to me. Now on to the important part: the food. The chicken satay itself was delicious, but the peanut sauce was wayyy too thick and not very flavorful- basically just peanut butter. I mixed it with the sweet & sour for a better consistency. The duck curry was some of the worst I've had- the sauce itself was runny & thin and they left out the pineapple & tomato the menu mentions specifically in the description for this item, which was a huge oversight because it meant the curry overall was quite bland. I'm specifically talking about richness of flavor here not spice level- despite the spice level (ordered mild but it was more like medium as I was warned by other reviewers) being more than adequate. Pros: upon closer inspection, I did actually find some Thai basil, curry was loaded with very fresh veggies (broccoli, green beans, carrots, etc.) since I paid an extra $2 for that, and the duck meat quality was good so I'll give them that- tender, not fatty. The people were nice but after we sat down we waited a bit before anyone came to help us, even though the restaurant was nearly empty. It was a nice spot though, good AC. Mimsy and I stopped for lunch because my favorite Thai place in the tri-city area (Sara Thai) is closed on Sunday, and I had my face fixed for some drunken noodles. We were wordlessly pointed to a table. After almost ten minutes, a guy came over and asked what we wanted. I had not seen the card that listed the beers so I asked him if they served beer. Guy stared back at me blankly and then pointed to the card. Guy brings the bottled beer with no glasses. Mimsy got drunken noodles chicken, I got it with duck. Food arrived pretty promptly. The noodles were mushy. The duck was somehow dry and soggy at the same time. Nobody stopped by to ask us how it was. I had to go flag down someone coming out of the kitchen to request another beer. Overall not very good. Go to Sara Thai instead. read more

Really disappointed. The waiter/owner is really disrespectful. You can't ask him anything about the menu without him getting an attitude. We went there once before it was decent. Second time we asked some menu questions he got a huge attitude then we ordered a papaya salad and a tom yum soup he asked us what spice level we said medium it came out super hot burnt our lips and everything including the salad. I can handle spicy I can eat jalapeño raw and I drown my chipotle in tobacco sauce. I think he made ours super spicy out of spite for asking questions about the menu. read more

Fantastic food & service! I had dinner in Thai Taste - ordered Shiumai, Veggie Spring Roll & Thai Ice Tea for dine in. And whole fish (fried Haddock fish with lemongrass sauce) for takeaway. The shiumai was just perfect; the skin is homemade and the shrimp filling is quite generous. The owner told us that they made it fresh everyday themselves, not a frozen one. The veggie spring roll is a good choice if you are looking for healthy option. The fried fish is sooo yummy!! It also included steamed broccoli and carrot. The staff told me that i'm the first person ordering Thai Ice Tea that day (it was super cold outside :D), i miss drinking Thai ice tea and this one was just superb. Love!!! read more

New favorite Thai place! Most likely the best Thai food in Dover (quite possibly the sea coast). Right now this place still seems a little under the radar- probably because they are super new. We ordered the orange chicken, pineapple fried rice, potstickers, and crab rangoons (and sweet mango rice for dessert). The food was AMAZING. So fresh, everything tasted completely made from scratch and was so flavorful. The crab rangoons are hands down the best I've ever had, and the orange chicken was one of the best dishes I've ever tasted. Our family came to Thai Taste for dinner and we were thrilled. Our food was fresh, delicious, hot, and delivered fairly quickly. We got House Pad Thai, Mango Curry, Pineapple Curry, and Garlic Shrimp Stir Fry. The spiciness perfect. We also had an order of Fresh Rolls. The food was delicious however the service was awful. After having dinner here recently I would think really hard before dining here again. The poor service started right after we were seated. The waiter came to the table and we ordered our drinks and food at the same time as we were all ready. When two of us asked for water we were both given a look like we had asked for something ridiculous. We ordered well over $100 in food so it wasn't as if we were just taking advantage. Our food was fast and delicious but when we asked for additional silverware so everyone at the table could eat we were met with an eye roll and a sigh. The absolute worst part of the whole experience was after we received the bill and were asked if it was all set the man proceeded to look in and count how much of a tip was left for him, slam the envelope shut, leave it on the table and walk away.
