We ordered to-go by phone and were told it would be 20 minutes. We arrived and paid, and the server said ours was next to be ready. An hour and 20 minutes later after standing there waiting and asking for updates several times, we learned our food had not even been started. The servers were super disorganized and frenetic and blamed the kitchen staff and each other. It was unprofessional and chaotic. We ended up being refunded and without food. First time trying this place since change of ownership. Usually I'm getting the Whiskey Creek Thai food. That being said..... VERY good fresh thoughtfully prepared food. Delicious. Love that the tables have the chili sauce already there. Prices totally fair all things considered. Only gripe, to go orders really jam up the works . If I'm seated for full service I'm prepared to pay and tip for that . I should be priority over callers. They can call back. Waiter left multiple times to attend to calls/pick ups before even taking our order. More staff showed up and service sped up so no big deal. Staff all very friendly, good people. We had the shrimp fresh roll, shrimp pad thai and chicken satay--all three were so good! The Pad thai had the perfect amount of sauce, the chicken was seasoned amazingly, it was a little sweet but the cucumber vinegar sauce balanced it well. Don't come here if you're hungry and want reliable service. Arrived at 7pm and put in an order to go. They have us waiting for over an hour after explaining that their kitchen closes at 7:30 and can't seat us. It's 8:08pm still waiting for food, they clearly made our food last after everyone in the restaurant. I understand if you want to complete the in-house orders first but let us know that before we're sitting and waiting for over an hour. Be transparent. Service could be better, be patient if you give it a whirl. read more

Probably the only and best thai restaurant in town. Since its located at the airport it can get pretty packed when theres flights. It sucks that theyre closed on Wednesdays but you can still enjoy them the other 6 days. Ive tried almost everything on their menu and its real good. I've eaten here numerous times and I must stress if you can't eat an ingredient you must let them know!!! I absolutely love the fried rice. I have an allergic reaction to garlic which they often add to their dishes so I stress "no garlic!!". Due to the huge turn around with the servers the wait can be longer than usual. Make sure you have time to wait if eating in. Cuisine is prepared to order so super fresh. However I do wish you'd have a choice between the soup or salad at lunch time. The soup is extremely spicy. INCONSISTENT--I usually like this place, BUT! Sometimes the spiciness of the dishes vary from visit to visit so be absolutely clear with your server if you are ordering something that is traditionally spicy like the Spicy Thai Basil dish--you may be served something so hot you cannot bear to swallow it. That's what happened to me after getting that same dish several times and it being just medium-hot. Then one time I get it take-out and we get home and it's so firey hot none of us can eat it, and down the garbage disposal it goes. A $17.99 dish! The Panang curry is the best dish and most consistent. It is very good. I do not recommend the pad thai, sadly. read more

Oh my gosh! This place is a gem, located at a tiny airport. I was hesitant to try at first. because I've had pretty bad food at small airports. But the food here is amazing. Locals stop by for the food. My husband and I love their chicken satay, shui mai. I especially enjoy the clear noodles. They also have terrific salads. When I fly out of Bishop, I make an effort to get something there. They also give you a 10% discount if you show your flight ticket. Then only downside is that the place is small and there can be a wait. Some customers linger too long at their table while they pass the time waiting for their flights. The manager has had to tell people to leave so other customers could get their meals. read more

Every time I pass through Bishop or stay in Bishop, i always stop by to eat at this local spot. I've been here a total of 10 times within the past 8 years and it hasn't changed. I think they might have had a management change or hired more chefs because the food has been coming out faster now! But regardless, still excellent customer service. I have also held every job from dishwasher to manager in the buisness, I understand food costs have gone through the roof. But the food I picked up was embarrassing, the Larb salad was unrecognisable, over seasoned chopped chicken over a bed of steamed romaine to top it off a giant scoop of steamed rice for filler(Who does this)? next Crab fried rice 25.00 fishy as hell(I know crab is expensive but this was hideous). But my husband, who doesn't like anything to spicy could not even eat his. It was more like a level 3 it should've been a 1. We did tell them MILD. This happened to us before, we thought they had just made a mistake so my husband made something else to eat. They have a great menu that can be made vegetarian with substitutions. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE TOFU FRIES, even if you eat meat, treat yourself, these are so good. Located at the airport, plenty of parking and space, take out works too, the food still tastes fresh when you get home! read more

A good surprise to find a decent Thai restaurant in a mountain town like Bishop. The place is in the same area as Bishop airport and not on the main thoroughfare, Main St. We only ordered 2 items as to-go after a grueling hike of "Boundary peak", the highest point in Nevada. We can tell the chef is Thai as they used real Thai basils for the "pad Kra-prao" with pork and they squeeze some limes in their chilli fish sauce. Will definitely support them again next time we're back or even passing by Bishop. read more

Long day on a long drive. Was really craving soup and this spot popped up. It's a tiny restaurant, out of the way tucked in the airport but well worth the drive off the beaten path. The place was packed and like so many places these days short staffed but our server was super friendly and just hustled and kept everyone happy. My soup was incredible and mom really enjoyed her curry lunch special. If I'm ever back in Bishop I'm stopping in again! read more

I used to think of this place as overpriced but solid if I wanted Thai on 395. They changed personnel recently for the better and I was really pleasantly surprised. Lunch specials are well priced for the quality, and some of the dinner specials are amazing! Gailan & pork belly - omfg this is amazing. We get it every dinner now and try something else. Deep flavors, delicious garlic based sauce, great crispy texture on the pork belly. Yellow curry - comfort food, but well done with more depth than usual. Drunken noodles - good but not exceptional. Seafood custard - not actually a custard? I was expecting something like Chawanmushi but it was a red curry with cream mixed in the sauce. Still tasty if that sounds good. Salmon Panang curry - well done, but I had forgotten how small restaurant portions of salmon are. I'd branch out unless you really want salmon. Mango sticky rice - I don't know how they get mangos so perfectly fresh in Bishop. A very pleasant surprise. Our one negative experience was coming in for a pickup - was told it'd be 25 minutes but it was more like 50 (with people that came and ordered after me getting theirs before mine). No rice was included despite having a curry dish - luckily we had some bread laying around to mop up the sauce. read more

Awful! This review is about this restaurants inability to accommodate people with disabilities. We called to ask about the sugar in the food and we were asked why we were asking. Shocked at the invasion of our medical history, we mentioned that a member of our family has diabetes. Not a good start, but we pressed on. They told us to avoid curries and the soups. They said they didn't know how much sugar was in their food because they made up big batches of it. Red flag, but we asked if they knew how much sugar they put in the big batches. They didn't.They said to just avoid pretty much everything on the menu. Either all of their food is prepackaged or they are just unwilling to accommodate those with disabilities. We've eaten here in the past and it was pretty good, but this time their disgusting treatment of us left a bad taste in our mouth. I'd recommend avoiding on principle alone, not to mention the sketchy fact that they don't even know what's in their food. Gross. Visited this place pre-Covid and loved it then. First a note about location. It's located right next to the Eastern Sierra Regional Airport which is in the middle of nowhere outside of town. We didn't know that and navigated with Waze. We thought for sure we had punched in the wrong destination since it's pitch black on the road there at night. So be patient and you'll get there. The airport is a small non-descript building next the airport. Clean place, friendly staff, very much a local place, which I love. Unfortunately, I don't remember what we ordered a few years ago but they were all great. I was thrilled to see that this place was still open on our recent trip to Mammoth. On this trip I ordered the garlic duck. If you like duck and garlic, this is for you. Crispy, tender and very moist covered with a tasty minced garlic sauce, on a bed of vegetables. I would highly recommend this. My buddy ordered the Thai Thai Noodle soup, which he thought was very good as well. It had a good amount of tasty pork and shrimp. This place is on my list of favs in Bishop. read more

This is my favorite restaurant in town. I moved to Bishop after living in all the major coastal cities and having access to incredible Thai and Vietnamese food. I was excited about having a Thai option but then it turns out Thai Thai also does Vietnamese food!! I've been ordering from their Vietnamese menu since. I have been getting the bun and just ordered the pho over the weekend. Not the most mind blowing pho but honestly, it was respectable and made me feel like I was back in the Bay Area (you know it's legit when they include tripe in your combo pho!). My partner has been ordering the Thai items and he's loved every single thing he's ordered. We always get the tofu fries and I always try to sneak in the mango sweet rice. It is SO good. Re: covid, they do takeout orders only but have recently set up outdoor dining. They do excellent takeout packaging-- I was so impressed with how they packaged my pho! I also recommend eating outside there around sunset, as it's at the city airport so you get a great view of the sky. read more
