Our favorite was the beef short rib over a green curry with a side of roti (10/10). The meat was so tender and juicy. We also got eggplant with pork (8/10), sunset curry (8/10), pad thai (9/10), Tom kha (9/10 lemony and coconut-y), mango tango shrimp (7/10 kind of tomato-y), angel wings (10/10 love the batter!), and for dessert, dessert roti with ice cream (10/10 forever my favorite dessert). Hands down the BEST Thai restaurant in midtown!!! I am so happy to have found this hidden gem!!! The first time I ordered take out, Thammasorn told me about a drink called a Lemon Bomb and now myself and everyone in the office is hooked! We order food and lemon bombs every week now! I usually get the jelly noodles with tofu which are the silver noodles with veggies and tofu in an incredible sauce. It's always piping hot and flavorful and the ingredients are so fresh and delicious! My coworkers get yellow curry, garlic pepper chicken, and drunken noodles and they all rave about their dishes as well. I'm sure there isn't a bad item on the menu! The thing that separates them from any other Thai restaurant in the area is their immense variety and FRESH ingredients. The veggies are so crisp and plentiful and the sauces are so rich and vibrant. The restaurant itself is spotless and the interior is decorated so nicely. There's a very open vibe to the place and it feels so comfy and cozy at the same time. Now let's talk about the service. They forgot our drinks, and by the time we got our food, we just gave up on the drinks. We had a party of 9, and so I understand it took a pretty long time, but over an hour for the first item, then 1.5 hours until everyone got their food, it's pretty unacceptable to be honest. Food: The food was good, and well portioned! I'd come here if they weren't too busy for sure, or if the service improves dramatically. They add mint to their water, and I'm not sure if that was what was adding a medicinal taste to the water, but I don't think I enjoyed it. Vibe: It's new. I was really disappointed. I had read great reviews. I knew the owner had come from my favorite restaurant Coconut on T. I was excited to try their papaya salad & lamb curry. The service was friendly and this seemed like a family run business so everyone was working hard. The place is very clean and good for all types of groups. I was recently there on a Wednesday night and there was a good bunch of folks getting dinner and there were still open tables. I ended up trying a bunch of different dishes. The Tom yum was a solid start to the meal. The portion was just enough for 2 but had a good amount of chicken and mushrooms. The Panang curry was flavorful and consistent with what I had before. The eggplant was cooked well and had a good mix of veggies and chicken. My favorite was the drunken noodle and I added crispy pork belly. We had ordered Potstickers - steamed not fried and steamed, Stuffed Angel Wings, Tom Kha soup, Prik Khing Green Beans, Drunken Noodles with Pork, Mango Sticky Rice and a Sapporo. The three of us ate the whole thing. Pot stickers needed the fry to get that special crunch in a pot sticker then steamed. Th Angel wings were very good. The soup had a wonderful flavor - but was not enough for three to share. Green Beans were yummy. Drunken Noodles were tasty - but stuck together to much and did not have enough vegetables. Great service and delicious food! We came on a Saturday evening and were immediately greeted by the staff. We sat down and were promptly provided with their menu and iced water. The entire restaurant is spacious, clean and well lit. They have a bar area with 2 large TVs playing NBA games. Street parking only but we did not have any trouble finding parking. There were plenty of free street parking near the restaurant. We noticed that their drunken noodle was popular on Yelp and decided to try it for ourselves. We are typically a huge fan of Thai fried rice and ordered one as well. We also ordered their kao soi as the waitress highly recommended it and we were so glad we did! She had mentioned that their coconut-based curry is one of their speciality. The kao soi was one of the best I've had! The curry sauce was perfectly seasoned and soooo creamy! It complemented both the fresh noodles on the bottom of the bowl and crispy noodles on the top so well. The drunken noodle was very flavorful and well portioned with a variety of vegetables. The flat noodles were slightly more overcooked than we'd like but overall still very delicious. The thai fried rice was good but the rice was also slightly more soft and overcooked than we'd like. Nevertheless, we cleaned out everything and left no crumbs. Overall, delicious experience and would highly recommend trying their kao soi!! Love how vegetarian friendly their menu is! The food here is really good. I think it does veer a bit sweet, but the ingredients taste fresh and the flavors are on point. I've had the green curry, eggplant stir fry, and drunken noodles. All have been very good and I'd order everything again, I have already come back twice and reordered the green curry and drunken noodles. The inside is nice with lots of seating and plants and the service was quick and friendly. The thai iced coffee was a little too sweet for me but that's just my preference I know it's typically made sweet. This is my second time eating at Thai Time and once again it was delicious!! This time I got the Drunken Chow Mein and the Massaman Curry with roti and a Thai tea on the side. The Drunken Chow Mein was so flavorful, with the sauce perfectly coating each noodle. The noodle itself is actually ramen, despite the name of the dish, don't expect the Chow Mein noodles you'd see at a Chinese restaurant. However, I love ramen noodles so this was perfect for me. The dish had lots of bell peppers and veggies as well. The first time I came here, I got Kao Soi, it was the first time I ever tried the dish and Omg ya'll I was in heaven, it was amazing! The Massaman Curry was tasty as well. This is only the second Thai restaurant I've had Massaman Curry and I'm a fan for sure especially with the Roti dipped in. I think I prefer the other restaurant's Massaman curry, this was still good though. I will also say I ordered it "not spicy" and I think it would've really elevated the level if I did get some spice added to it. Thai Tea was standard and good. They also have Green Thai Green Tea, which I haven't tried yet but really want to try in the future! The service was attentive, fast and helpful when answering questions about the menu. The owner even came over and talked to us after we received our meal to ensure everything was good and to learn more about us. I loved this! Felt like we were part of the family. Lastly, the ambiance felt upscale compared to other Thai restaurants I've been to with sleek back tables and chairs. I think I just had the best Thai food ever. I'm not from the area so I'm depending on yelp for recommendations and you did not disappoint. I ordered vegetable tom yum, the mixed vegetables, mango sticky rice and a Thai tea. I ordered everything hot, and often Thai places get the spice without the flavor. This place was special. The food was perfect. Service was amazing as the lady was extremely nice. Thai tea was decent (felt a little small) and the sticky rice was comparable to every where else I've had it. It's peak mango season and mangos should be nothing short of perfect at any restaurant. My curry was flavorful and delicious. My wife's avocado was large and fresh not over ripe or mushy. My son had Pad Se and before hand had their excellently fried calamari. It was lightly breaded and perfectly crunchy. The avocado was perfectly ripe and my husband said the mango was as well. The restaurant is very nice inside and there was plenty of street parking. Food: Prik King Green Bean ($16): Y'ALL, this dish may look like an ordinary green bean entree, but it'll actually send you out of this world!! The red sauce in this dish is E.VERY.THING. I've never tasted anything like it before. The flavor is a delicious combo of sweet and spicy, but not too spicy! This was definitely my favorite dish that I ordered and I cannot WAIT until I come back to get it again! Mango-Glazed Salmon Salad ($20): This salad was HUGE. It consisted of all my favorite items: mixed greens, mango (so juicy and ripe), and seared salmon. All the tasty ingredients were so fresh and it mixed well with the lime vinaigrette! Crab Fried Rice ($25): The portions here are huge if you haven't noticed by now haha. Crab fried rice is a classic, so no complaints on my end.
