    Chicken satay

I wish this spot all the success and more. From welcome to goodbye, service and experience is wonderful. I was surprised I hadn't left a review yet with the number of times I've gone and brought friends or came solo. This location is great for a quick lunch or dinner and gathering with friends/fam/colleagues. Nice date night option too with the lighting and ambiance. There are TVs if you need that extra stimulation. The food is so deliciously prepared. I've had many dishes, most recently, the chicken satay, dong dong noodles, and tofu spring rolls. Everything is so fresh too! Spice levels are true to definition. The owner runs a great friendly-like-family operation. Not pictured but I highly recommend the angel wings and Penang curry (any protein). Yuuuummm!!! Add some noodles and the spring rolls and you have a well rounded meal there! Cheers!

Mango Sticky Rice with Ice Cream. AMAZING!

I never even knew about this place, my co-worker took myself and a friend and he loved it also! The chicken Thai basil came out hot and fresh, veggies were crunchy and delicious, chicken was tender, flavor was slightly sweet and savory. But my favorite - the mango sticky rice with that deliciously sweet coconut ice cream. Blew me away! Loved the sticky rice texture, the sweet fresh mango. It was all just delicious! Our waitress was a treat, such a sweetheart. Quick fast service, which I loved!

This restaurant was recommended by my friend and it was exactly what I needed but didn't know. Is located on 10th street so street parking however, it was worth it. The food was excellent and the ambiance was classic asian style. The waitress was attentive we didn't have a reservation and was seated immediately. I would definitely be coming back to try more of their cuisines.

    Thai Tea, iced was perfect

Absolute yum! Recommended by a coworker, I promptly brought my mom in for a nice workday lunch when I was stationed Downtown. We were greeted, seated, and given water right away. Place was packed with (I'm assuming) state workers. Nice interior and clean bathrooms. Mom and I both ordered the yellow curry (our fave); she opted for the standard mild with white rice, I bumped it up a bit to medium with brown rice. Food was quick (without being suspiciously fast) and really tasty. Medium had a nice kick and the brown rice was in a perfect little cone. Overall, great work-lunch spot and can't wait to bring my husband in for a meal! Ps. The Thai iced tea was also bomb!

I had a lovely lunch with my partners close to 2pm. There were only a few people in the restaurant so it wasn't busy. We had a wonderful service with attentive staff. Everything seemed so clean and there were a lot of options on the menu. I wanted to try everything! We decided to get garlic fries, crispy tamarind tofu and potstickers as starters. For the main course, I decided to go for the Pad Thai Supreme. The other main dishes were the drunken chow mein and a pumpkin curry. The flavors went really went together. Everything was so delicious and super tasty!! It made me want to go back and try other items in their menu.

Street parking only. Food and services was okay. They get quite busy during lunch due to the close proximity to downtown. The food was okay, I felt the food was more cater to the American taste and not as authentic.

First time here, great experience! The waitress was so friendly. The food was great - Pad Thai supreme and the Tom Ka with noodles. For dessert we had mango sticky rice. I also had Thai tea which was tasty! The restaurant and vibe was nice inside and parking was easy to find on a Wednesday night. They had 2 big TVs so was able to watch the Olympics. I would definitely go back.

    Chicken pad see ew

Solid fare Tucked away in downtown Sacramento is this tasty spot for Thai food. We were able to get seated without a reservation, but this place filled up quickly during dinner time. I tried their pad see ew which came out hot and well flavored. Nothing mind blowing, but nonetheless delicious. They also have excellent curries, especially the avocado yellow curry. The service was a bit slow and they were eager to rush us out the door, but I guess there were hungry customers waiting.

Amazing food, amazing service, amazing ambiance!! On our visit we ordered : - Spicy Bamboo - Tamarind Shrimp - Tom Kha soup - Green Thai Tea The spicy bamboo dish was my favoriteee. If you love spicy food, make this your next dish. The portion for this was pretty big and I ended up taking basically half the plate home and made it my dinner. The tamarind shrimp was very surprising! I loved the flavoring and how crispy it came out. The shrimps were huge!! The owner and waitress were super sweet and attentive. I loved the inside of those place. It's spacious, with a clean modern design and I love that they have plants in this place. It adds to the feng shui.

    Ginger fried chicken

On this visit, I dined in. I love the fried Thai Roti with the curry dipping sauce. Unfortunately, I am quite disappointed with the ginger fried chicken. The chicken is very dry and not tender like it was from my previous visit. I was hoping the batter would still be crispy instead of soggy as I am dinning in. I am disappointed that the batter is mostly soggy. I decided to try the Rad na with tofu. It was just okay. I prefer my noodles dry so I will stick with drunken noodles. No complaints on the crab fried rice. Service was excellent.

Very delicious Thai food and great service. I got their basil fried rice and it was soo good, ultra flavor. I would come again. The ambiance looks like it's chic and newly renovated. Love the food , such a great hole in the place!

    Panang curry
    Megan C.

Ordered the panang curry, mild spice, and it was really good! The restaurant itself is very pretty and has a nice calm vibe. There was plenty of street parking when we went on a Saturday afternoon. Their noodle dishes were also pretty good so it seems like you can't really go wrong with whatever you order. Servers were really nice and food came out fairly fast.

We went to Thai Time this evening for our last day in Sacramento and it was a really good choice for dinner! We had a wonton noodle soup, pineapple red curry, and calamari - all of which were very delicious! The owner talked with us and was really kind and friendly. We will definitely be back next time we're in Sacramento!

Their specials are also really good I love their asparagus and seafood special and the Rad nar is delicious too. This is the first time I've seen a male working in the kitchen. It's usually 5 to 6 females working their tits off. We arrived before they opened at 4 PM and were the second ones in the door. The restaurant filled up very fast and there was also to go orders and people were arriving waiting for seats or signing to take the food to go. I'm so happy to see this business is thriving. There, Tom, Yum and Tom Kay soups are absolutely perfectly flavored have a ton of chicken. If you order chicken, you can also order tofu or shrimp. The mushrooms are freshly thick cut and you'll find large pieces of cake for leaf and ginger and the soup so you know it's really freshly made. They can adjust the spice heat as to your preference and it really comes a little spicey hot, and you can ask for Thai hot but you might not be able to taste anything for a few days afterwards cause that is really hot . I'm not sure if management or chef has changed but their food is not what I remembered from years ago. We initially ordered their tofu pad thai and gai yang and immediately noticed how pricey their menu was. They have a wall of specials and I remember being shocked that their orange chicken was $24. I didn't mind paying more than what I was used to for my pad thai because I remembered their food was delicious but I was shocked when my pad thai came out. It was literally drowned in sauce and looked like it was a bowl of noodle soup. I was still optimistic hoping that it tasted better than it looked but it just tasted like sweet rice noodle soup. I was hesitant to bring it up to the waitress after two bites but so glad I did because I would have hated myself if I left without saying anything. The waitress was kind and offered to remake the dish. Instead, I opted for something else because I was afraid to be disappointed again. I ordered their tofu drunken noodles since I've gotten it here before and remember it being tasty. I confirmed that the drunken noodle was going to be a dry noodle dish and thankfully it was. It was good but not the best I've ever had. My boyfriend had their gai yang which is a marinated grilled chicken dish. He said it was pretty dry without the sauce on the side but the sweet chili sauce provided was pretty tasty. It's probably not worth $26 given the how dry the chicken was and he said he would never order it again. Overall, the customer service was great and portions were good. I had to deduct 3 stars from my previous review as the food quality has significantly gone down in my experience and doesn't justify the high menu prices in my opinion.

The location was a bit odd, as there were barely any other businesses nearby. There is street parking that you can pay for. It's a fairly small restaurant. We were were seated pretty quickly. We opted for mild spice on this. I would order this again. -Chicken pad thai: Done very well! Some places the pad thai is too sweet, but this one was very balanced and had a good tamarind flavor. Medium spicy was a bit on the spicy side, but perfect for me! Would order this again. -Duck larb: Unique, but I couldn't tell it was duck. My partner enjoyed this more than I did. The portion for the larb was on the smaller side and it came with some lettuce, radish, carrots, cucumbers. -Mee kati ground pork: A very unique dish that not many Thai restaurants seem to have, in which it came with noodles, and a variety of toppings like beans sprouts, lettuce, green beans, peanuts, and cilantro. It came with a fermented curry gravy, and it delicious! I would totally order this again. -Green Thai tea: Quite fragrant and not too full on half and half like some other places have it. It's also not as sweet as another local Thai restaurant. I would actually order this again. -Classic Thai tea: Strong Thai tea flavor, also not too sweet. The thing that grabbed my attention, though, was the ceiling! I loved the way it was decorated. So cute and vibrant. We were the only ones there for a while, so it was quiet. The staff were super attentive the moment we walked in. They greeted us warmly, asked how many would be dining, and they brought over waters and menus. My other friend was still parking. Plenty of parking, btw. The menu laid out each dish wonderfully, so we didn't have to guess anything. We ended up ordering an array of foods including green Thai curry, which came with rice, some steamed buns, dumplings, and noodles. Everything was delicious! When I'm in the area, I'll definitely visit again.

The food was a mix of highs and misses. When they got it right, it really worked. When they didn't, it felt flat. The mango curry carried the meal. The green curry dragged it down. Everything else sat somewhere in the middle Parking? Lot We had: Chicken Satay (4/5): Flavor wise, this was locked in. One of the better peanut sauces I've had. Nutty, slightly sweet, with enough depth to keep it interesting. The problem was execution. It came out lukewarm, which dulled the whole experience and made it feel less fresh than it should have. Also could've used more sauce. Still good, just not quite dialed Green Curry (2.5/5): This one just didn't show up. The flavors felt muted and never really came together. The vegetable mix was fine, but it needed more eggplant to give it some body and identity. The chicken was forgettable. Nothing offensive, just flat. Easy pass Mango Curry (4.5/5): This is where things turned around. Bright, layered, and actually interesting. Real mango brought a natural sweetness that worked instead of overwhelming, and the sauce had depth. It felt composed. The vegetables could've been more evenly distributed and the chicken was just okay, but overall this was the standout and absolutely worth ordering again
