Some of the best Pho broth around! The rib bones are the way to go. I appreciate that they have all the traditional toppings, plus chili OIL. My favorite! Came into KT Pho for the first time on Christmas Eve as they were one of the only places that was open at the time, which we did appreciate. When we arrived, the space was small but the vibe was nice, and a big family was seated eating in the front, which seemed to be the family of the owners of the restaurant. They gestured for one of the kids to sit us down. We both ordered pho and got an order of egg rolls. The egg rolls were fresh, but were on the smaller side and didn't come with the fish sauce we are used to at Vietnamese spots. The pho was on the bland/lighter side, but was generous with meat and general portions, especially for the price. The service was somewhat spotty, but I'm sure it had something to do with it being Christmas Eve. If we do come back, I'm sure we'd have a different experience. read more

Food was delicious and decently priced. I got the Pho no. 1 combo and it had a variety of meat for $14.99! The best part was the tender rib bone; that meat fell right off the bone. The broth was clean, beefy, and not too sweet. I loved that it had a bit of a stronger cinnamon/anise flavor. To me, that indicates they pay attention to their spices and that made it more interesting and delicious. We went during Happy Hour which is everyday from 3PM-7PM and you get a free iced Thai Tea, which wasn't bad. My brother got a grilled pork banh mi which was nice to dip in our Pho. Sandwich was alright. It was a little sour, as if they used a yuzu mayo spread, but we appreciated the slightly toasted bread which was perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside. We were the only ones there for about 20 minutes after ordering 2 banh mi, spring rolls, and 2 house special Pho bone rib to go around 11:30am. The cook said that they only cook when we order, which is great! I just think one person in the kitchen during lunch hour is not wise. Thankfully, we had some time buffer, but this place probably caters to service workers besides the surrounding residents. They offer a free eggroll with every pho order. Thankfully, I had some nuoc mam (fish sauce) at home so she could dip or else it would've been pretty bland. The house special pho had great broth flavor for being outside of the the Little Saigon epicenter. We were able to feed 3 adults with 2 portions. Easy on the onions, please! I felt like they put in one whole onion for just 2 portions. I had to scoop many many out lest I get kicked out of my bed tonight for it coming out of my pores! The springs rolls were average but affordable. I didn't realize that the banh mi automatically came with mayo, so be aware when ordering! Euro butter spread would've won me over! The baguettes did have a nice crunch and the meat was flavorful. For $5.99, it makes for an affordable lunch. We ordered the chicken and pork banh mi. I tried the house special for $15 - if you were to get the same pho in Garden Grove or Westminster you'd be paying $20 for this amount of quality or meat. The kind owner came and talked to us... she said she's opened this business for two years. Their pho is freshly made everyday with no MSG. One of the best pho places I had in a very long time. I've gotten the House Special (look up the menu for full ingredients) and the Steak and Fatty Flank pho bowls before and they didn't disappoint. The House Special is the best deal IMHO. Broth is more than solid by Orange City standards. I would describe this as a hole in the wall mom and pop shop, family-owned, what who appears to be a grandma, mama, and toddler in tow. I wouldn't eat here if you want a classy ambience. This is strictly about the food! I will say that the free egg roll that comes with the lunch order is not great, but also highly unnecessary. Again, the broth shines, and I appreciate the cracked pepper in every bowl, which is not normal in pho places. Not a fan, the soup was too oily to have a taste to the soup. I kept trying to get flavors but kept getting mouthfuls of oil.

Their pho is ok if you just need a quick pho fix nearby. I ordered the Steak + Beef Ball. They do not give you a lot of the side veggies to put into your pho, but you can ask for more. The soup portion was pretty good though. They give you a free Thai Tea if you make it to their happy hour, but no refills! (Another review said they do refills but this isn't true, or at least it isn't true anymore.) Service was also ok, didn't interact with them much. Hidden gem. They have a pho bowl here call Xi Quach (pronounce "See-What") it's like beef knuckle. It's the bone they use to simmer the pho beef broth. The beef bone has cartilage tendon and meat still attached, and you'll need a knife to cut it off the bone. Anyhow order the Xi Quach, with a plain bowl of pho, noodles and broth only. I ordered their special pho with the giant beef bone. Honestly it is one of the worst phos I have ever had. The broth is too salty and lacks the taste of the spices that are usually found in pho. The portion is very large so it's unfortunate I had to taste more of the terrible broth. Also when I asked for a togo container the lid they gave me was dirty and sticky . I think for some people who have never had pho before or don't really care about flavor, it might be tolerable. But for anyone else I would not recommend ordering the pho here. read more

We were greeted promptly by the young lady who took our order. An older lady who brought out the food spoke with us about the pho, chicken plate, and pork chop with rice. This is a no nonsense take it or leave it place to eat. The owners rely on the taste of their food rather than ambiance. Now that's a pho!!! I had the house special which was the most flavorful and filling bowl of pho that I have ever had!!! There's beef rib, shrimp, rare steak, flank, beef meatball, and tendon in there. There's lots of onions which I loved as well. The little dash of pepper showed that little extra special touch which gave that little extra depth of flavor kick. My wife had the chicken and rice which was very tasty. I love crispy chicken skin and it was just that. Instead of fish sauce, sweet chili sauce was given which complimented the chicken. My friend and I woke up hungover and craving pho. We decided to give this place a shot since it was relatively close to where we were staying. This place looks more like a to go type of restaurant so I wasn't expecting much, but I was in for a pleasant surprise. The pho came in large portions - neither my friend nor I were able to finish our bowls, but it made for some yummy leftovers. The broth was great! It didn't taste overwhelming or artificial.
