The is a small restaurant with both indoor & outdoor seating and a modern and inviting atmosphere, up the stairs on the 2nd level of businesses on Bridgeway near the harbor. After being out in the cold, watching the Sausalito Lighted Boat Parade on Saturday night, we decided that ThaiTanic was a fitting option for dinner. We ordered for takeout, and service was friendly, with about a 15-minute wait for our food to be ready. We got an order of shrimp rolls, roti with a side of curry, pineapple fried rice with beef and added prawns, and grilled thai steak. Wow, everything was amazing, especially the juicy and flavorful steak. Of the items we got, this was my fave, but all of the dishes were really good. I definitely recommend this spot.

Don't let the punny name fool you- ThaiTanic serves up authentic flavors. As a Drunken Noodles lover, I can confirm this spot delivers. The portions are generous and combines a perfect balance of sweet, savory, and garlic flavor with fresh Thai basil. A huge plus: beef is the same price as chicken which made my protein choice very easy!

Was in town for the day and stopped in for lunch. We were the first to dine in as we arrived around 11:30a. They open at 11am. Staff were ok. Not super friendly just took our order and brought our food. The restaurant isn't really big but there are several tables. We ordered the following items: Tom Yum Goong Noodle Soup Pineapple Fried Rice Chicken Pad See-ew Beef Pad Thai Chicken Green Curry with tofu comes w/ Jasmine White Rice Everything we ordered was good. I honestly loved everything. We were a party of 6 so they added a 20% gratuity. My favorite was the green curry chicken and pineapple fried rice & tom yum goong noodle soup. I would definitely dine here again. I want to try the mango sticky rice next.

Came here after coming back from a hike and we were seated immediately! Good: - Generous portion sizes and the price is super cheap for the amount of food we got - The tom kha gai dish was really good - I loved the sweet and savory combo - The khao soi was decent, I liked the tom kha more, but it was huge! Good soup and curry flavor - Very nice staff! Very cute date spot. Food came out quick. Bad: - The place is pretty modern but casual and we had to flag down the waiter quite a lot Overall would come again! Super

I think our vibe gives people to dine in. This place is a small family restaurant in saucelito. After we got sat. The whole place became full Just like that. with 2 servers and 3 cooks..They were very consistent and fast. Not loosing the Thai Food quality. I'll give this place a 5 thumbs up . Their Crispy Thai Leaf salad is i'd say the Best. I live in San Francisco but their Thai Leaf Salad is the best Ive tasted. Nui the Server was on top of the Service. Calm yet very quick. Had Salmon too..Id be back here again thats for sure..

Filling portions. The menu had lots of choices to accommodate dietary restrictions. Small space. Staff were nice and food came out quickly.

Loved this little thai restaurant tucked behind/ inside a small shopping complex. My friend's recommendation as he had great experience many years ago.. Stopped by after a tiring hiking Mt.Tamalpais on a chilly but fairly clear day in Sausalito over the lweekend. Quickly seated handed us a 10 page menu clipped to a board..interesting menu and we tried to decide flipping thru, and decided to order regular Thai favorites. Ordered the Tom Kha Kai (coconut soup), some hot sake , spicy Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) with , pumpkin curry n steamed rice for my vegetarian friend. All dishes and service was super excellent..only comment perhaps the veggies could be cut into little smaller pieces(considering soup bowls were small ‍), and portion size of entrees were good for sharing and perhaps priced "Sausalito rates".

I came very last minute with a group of 9 friends. Honestly, the staff handled us so well, and it was such a good experience. I ordered the Tom Yum Noodle Soup, which reminded me of the ones in Thailand. Highly recommend because it highly resembles Thai street food.

My family and I were pretty unimpressed with Thai Tanic when we stopped by for dinner. The Roti appetizer was probably the best thing we got. The curry sauce it came with was very delicious. As for the other dishes, the Tom yum soup was a little too strongly flavored. The Thai streetfood noodle and pad Thai were okay. The beef in all the dishes was very tough. Honestly nothing to write home about. Additionally, the service was disappointing. Server was not very friendly and we didn't feel welcomed in the restaurant. Overall, for mediocre food and below average service, I would choose a different Thai restaurant over Thai Tanic.

Thai Tanic serves up fine authentic Thai food from the TomKha soup to PhadThai. Located in small, cozy space with good service.

Afterward, in honor of my brother and his passion for Asian food (and excellent food of ALL kinds), we had lunch at Sushi Ran. It was a spectacular experience. The five of us feasted on nigiri sushi, maki sushi, shrimp & basil dumplings, tofu salad, snapper collar, chawanmushi, a couple of other things I can't remember right now, and then we shared three desserts among the five of us (black sesame gelato, matcha cake, and toffee cake). It was absolutely wonderful. Service was efficient and attentive without being obtrusive. You will spend a bit of money on your meal, to be sure. But every bite will be worth it, I promise. This was a perfect send-off for our "foodie" loved one. And just a word to the wise - don't miss the toffee cake. It will blow your mind.

Service is very polite and attentive- we enjoyed everything we ordered thoroughly. The fish here is so fresh and the cuts are prepared so skillfully. I ordered the premium sushi, and my boyfriend got the sushi plate and salmon citrus roll. I loved everything! From the plating to the fish itself, dining here is an experience that can't be replicated with takeout sushi. It's no surprise that this place is on the Michelin Guide. I would love to visit again and try more items on their menu. The server we had was very knowledgeable about sushi and gave her recommendations based on our preferences.

After looking at reviews and menus on Yelp we decided to try Ming's. We got Vegetable Spring Rolls Sweat & Sour Soup Orange Chicken General Tso's Chicken Chicken Chow Mein Chicken Fried Rice Overall everything was good, Spring rolls were light with a flaky outside, Chicken Chow Mein and Sweat & Sour soup were spot on. My only complaints was the 2 chicken dishes came with fried chicken pieces with the sauce on the side, Would of liked to have had that cooked into the chicken to bring out the flavor of the Orange Chicken and General Tso's Chicken, they still tasted good though. The Chicken Fried Rice could have used a bit more flavoring or more time in the wok, maybe both ? was was very light and bland. Still tasted good but could have been better. Overall it was a good experience and I would order from Ming's Restaurant again.

I went in curious and optimistic -- unfortunately, the experience fell flat almost immediately. Upon entering, no one acknowledged us or greeted us at the door. For a restaurant that presents itself as modern and slightly upscale, that lack of front-of-house awareness was noticeable and set an awkward tone from the start. We ordered the vegetable cake, a dish I'm very familiar with and usually love. Texturally, it was decent -- soft inside with a lightly crisp exterior -- but the flavor missed the mark. It tasted under-seasoned yet strangely heavy, with an excess of oil that lingered on the palate. Instead of feeling clean and balanced, it felt weighed down. For context, Palate Garden Party executes this dish far better: brighter flavor, better seasoning, and far less grease -- and at a lower price point. Even with the longer drive, the difference in quality makes it worth it. Dessert was a banana sesame roll dumpling dish that sounded promising on paper. The first bite was interesting, but that novelty disappeared quickly. The dumpling skin was far too thick and overly crunchy, almost stale-textured, which overwhelmed the filling. The interior lacked cohesion and finesse, and the cinnamon flavor felt muddled rather than intentional. We didn't finish it. Across the board, the food leaned excessively greasy, to the point where it didn't feel good to eat. I left feeling heavy and uncomfortable rather than satisfied. The flavors never quite came together, the quality didn't feel refined, and there wasn't enough charm or warmth to compensate for the technical misses. Overall, this isn't a place I'd return to or recommend. There are far better options for Chinese food that offer cleaner flavors, better execution, and a more thoughtful dining experience.
