Well, I have to admit that this brewery has corrected the situation and then some! I was contacted directly by one of the owners who invited me back to give them a second try. I went to their tasting room in Cottonwood 2 times and both times the staff and the owner were amazing. Service was great and the beer was even better. LOVED this place!! It's rare that I want to do this, but I wanted to eat here for every meal while we were in Pine. I loved the dog friendly patio, with the doggie entrance. I LOVED the Strawberry Blonde, and the Arizona Trail Ale. The beer meatballs were to die for , as was the elk and buffalo chili, as was my husbands southwest burger, and the peach cobbler was just over the top!!! The best peach cobbler I've ever had!!! I loved the atmosphere, just sitting outside within the pines and the beautiful area, the coolness, the service - I wanted to eat everything on the menu, and I did eat so much that I couldn't eat dinner that night. Five stars for the Road Rash IPA and craft beer, 3 stars for the food. Burgers were bland, could use a good dose of seasoning in the patties. Great outdoor vibe, we enjoyed the gigantic connect 4, jenga and cornhole while we sipped beer and waited for lunch. We stumbled upon this amazing brewery. The staff was polite and a pleasure to talk too. The food was pretty good and the beers were tasty.

Ordered the ribeye special and it was super fatty and chewy. Really expensive for the cut of meat that it was. The brisket was dry and disappointing and didn't come with any sides. The fries were good but the brussel sprouts were a bit disappointing. The veggie bruger came way over cooked. Maybe the beer and burgers are good, so try that, but we didn't love what we ordered. read more

Pulled park special was delicious. Hubby had the street tacos both meats and did not like them at all not to mention they had about a tablespoon of meat in them. The weather was wonderful so we sat on the patio. It's was very dirty. Why don't they hose it off before customers come is beyond me. This place.. ufff... Second time here. I wish I could say it was better. It is simply horrible. Outside seating is fly city. I literally caught 4 flys in a cup just out of boredom waiting 50 minutes for my order. The food is hit or miss. The fries are too wet, again. Second time myswlf and fiancee got our meals last. Which to say is about 15 minutes after the rest of our party. We both got burgers. Good news, I caught 10 flies. Honestly, I cannot understand how this place is getting five stars. Not impressed at all. Walked in tonight. They had open mic on the patio. AWESOME. The 2 girls that were on were so weeded it was crazy. It says they are dog friendly, and had 2 with us, that's why we went. We were ignored for 5 minutes. I think I finally got a bartender and wanted to sit outside and was told no, even though there was an open table outside. She rolled her eyes and said fine but with sooooo much attitude it was insane. The girls were so rude I figured it wasn't even worth eating there. Bummer. read more

We Hit That Brewery before a weekend of camping. The outside is great and we played games with my son until the food came. It was nice to be able to enjoy the fresh air. Solid establishment. Great beer. Had a flight so I could try them all but I think the AZ Trail Ale was my favorite. I had the prime rib Philly cheese steak and it was an amazing choice! It had some spicy Sriracha cheese sauce on it which made it all the more better. Probably the best cheese steak I've had in my day. I started with the fried green beans and they were great as well. Hands down the worst restraunt experience I've ever had, I am shocked that we didn't wake up with food poisoning. Stopped in for the Friday fish fry. Sat on the patio, which is very spacious. Servers were polite and attentive. I got 2 pieces of fish, one was good and the other was not cooked through. I showed the waitress and she brought me 2 more. They were both undercooked. The fish appeared to be cooked from frozen and wasn't being temped to ensure it was done. We have a family vacation home not far away and everyone seems to go here often when using it. I've eaten here 5 or 6 times and have not had trouble with the food or the service so far. I updated my review from four to five stars. My wife didn't like the pretzel buns they used to use. Now they use brioche buns which are great. Friday night all-you-can-eat fish and chips is above average. Onion ring straws are excellent. Not a beer drinker, but tried the Strawberry Blonde and it was good. Our local friends eat here a lot. We stopped in for a beer and slate afternoon snack. We sat outside under their patio canopy. We shared a flight of 6 brews which were all quite good. We shared their beer pretzels with cheese sauce which were OK but not spectacular. Great friendly and attentive service. Nice atmosphere. It was quiet when we arrived but started to fill up as 5 o'clock neared. When we passed by again on our way home a couple of hours later, it was packed. Quiet little town, stopped by on the way back from the rim on a Sunday. They accomodated our party of 6, and 3 dogs on the patio. Service was great. Food was great as well, had a much needed salad. We stopped in to check the beer selection and fill up a growler or two. We tested the AZ Trail, Rye offering, Strawberry Blonde, IPA and a couple of others. The AZ Trail was closest to a good English Bitters in flavor. Not hyper hopped like American West Coast IPAs but enjoyable. The Rye offering was actually hoppier with a more floral finish than the IPA. Very enjoyable. My wife like the Strawberry blonde. To wash down the beers we tested we enjoyed the Elk and Bison nachos appetizer. This was very good and would have benefited from fresh jalapenos rather than the canned variety in use. All in a a good visit and a wonderful option for lunch near Payson and or Pine AZ. read more

Whats there not to like - Although I wish they were open a bit later this place rocks! Great beers, awesome menu with different items to separate them from the usual bar food. It was Friday so I had the all you can eat Fish and Chips - it wasn't bad for all you can eat deal, soup was a bit watered down, but I did get to try one of their veggie burger patties and it was fantastic! A bit slow on the service, but they were packed. Prices are on point and people are social. You need to make this stop and check them out! read more

I loveeeee the beer flights and my boyfriend and I love the food here! The beer cheese and pretzels is always what I look for out of a brewery menu and they definitely have my stamp of approval! Burgers are great! I also had a really fun experience here for Oktoberfest a few years back with my good friends, we all drove up to Pine that weekend not knowing that it was the weekend of Oktoberfest so once we got the cabin in Pine, we decided to go check it out. To our grateful surprise, there was food, beer, games, families, and lots of fun to be had! I've also heard that they offer paint nights but don't know much else about that event but would love to try that sometime! I always love a restaurant that likes to build a relationship with their community and this place always goes above and beyond to do just that. read more

Decent spot that I would go back to, but nothing exciting. There's a big dog friendly patio which was awesome. Our service was prompt. We had flights of beer and it was overall pretty good. The Road Rash IPA was my favorite. We had the pretzels and beer cheese. The pretzels were fresh which was awesome, but oddly really greasy. I had the smothered chicken which was tasty. The SO had the ribeye special. He requested medium and it came out at least medium well, if not well, which was disappointing. We had the peach cobbler for dessert which was pretty tasty but tasted like something was from a can. I think we would go back more for drinks than for food, but we would go back. read more

Stopped here on New Years Eve for a beer and a snack. I had the Monsoon Mud Stout and the loaded tater tots. The beer was flavorful but not overly heavy and the tots nice and crisp, not too greasy. The bartender gave me a sample of an IPA that was light and crisp, nice and hoppy but not overly so. The staff was friendly and the ambience very laid back and relaxing.
