This is my favorite burger joint in Naperville. Are usually end up getting some oberweis while I am over here because they share a location. Today I got "That burger" Which is a double hamburger on a pretzel bun. While I was sampling peppermint ice cream I got suckered into a shake, no ragrets. This place is always extremely clean and the people that work at both are friendly.

Wow! I have no idea how someone can give this place a bad rating. The food is delicious. I'm a big burger guy, I love trying new places, and I'm not exaggerating when I say these are the best fries ever had. The burger was so good. The service was extremely friendly. Ethan took my order with a big smile and tons of positivity. I stumbled upon this place by accident, and I will become a regular customer now that I know this place exists.

I am not sure what the big deal is about this particular place. A buddy of mine who lives in the area suggested it and it was really just average for it's type (burger and fries joint), and is actually pretty pricey to boot. You order from the counter, take a number, and then have a seat while you wait for your food to be brought out to you on a tray. The place is incredibly clean, I will say that much, which is critical for a place that has an open grill that can make everything you touch slimey if they do not keep up on sanitation. There is also an attached dessert station to your right that I did not partake in, but I must admit the concoctions that were being delivered to tables near me certainly looked delicious and had a great presentation. If you order a burger or chicken sandwich "with everything" be prepared for it to be extremely messy. Granted that I am a "typical guy" and do not really give a shit about such concerns, but I think I went though about 10 napkins before I polished off the sandwich. Some dainty girl might be in for a bit of a challenge. The chicken sandwich was good, but nothing really special that you could not get from Chick-Fil-A at a far reduced price. Fresh cut fries here are decent sized, extra crispy and were really quite tasty. Timing is everything when you show up to a place and get fries, so maybe I just got lucky and they made a fresh batch. They are served in an a large beverage cup that is overflowing onto your tray and they do not skimp in the slightest. No need to opt for the size large here unless you are just extremely hungry. Overall, this place is just OK. For the same price I could get a much better burger from Fudruckers and have a cheese pump for my fries. I try to eat pretty healthy most of the time, so when I splurge on stuff like this I try to make it worth my while. It's not quite up to that level of sacrifice in my book.

The restaurant is half industrial chic and half barber shop quartet malt shop. All they did was remove the wall from Caribou.

Burger was cooked to order. However I was not asked to what doneness I wanted it, but it was juicy and cooked the way I like by happenstance. Seasoned correctly and the toppings were fresh and tasty. One weird thing is they ask whether it is eat in or to go. Why they ask I don't know. Everything comes in a bag like 5 guys, whether you eat in or not. The fries are fresh cut shoestring style, not the big meaty kind like 5 guys. I actually like the burger here better than 5 guys though. Price for a double patty burger, small fries and a drink was about 10 bucks, not too bad. The horseradish spin on the Big Mac sauce was pretty good, but I'm glad I got it on the side. One cool thing is that milk is the same price as soda with unlimited refills from the chilled self-serve dispenser.

Enjoyed "That Cheese Burger" on a Pretzel Bun.

I was really in the mood for a tasty malt and figured a That Cheese Burger would adorn my beverage. This latest visit was very enjoyable and the service was spectacular. He also cooked a good burger and it's a bonus to be served quality meats. Pretzel bun is an option, so I went with it. Of course the Chocolate Malt served in a frosted chalice was a treat. $13 out the door for a "Pulp Fiction" rockin shake and a double burger wasn't unreasonable.

Good burger, but nothing fantastic.

Their minds were blown when I told them they could have both... ... so thank you for having the mini size! Great for kiddos and adults. It's $5.75 and the perfect serving if you don't feel like eating your day's worth of calories in sugar and more sugar. The cookie jar ice cream flavor was right up my girls' alley, with Mother's frosted animal cookies, chocolate chips, and other cookies mixed into the base. Note there's like 16 flavors of ice cream and 8 kinds of cookie dough, so plenty to choose from and in whatever combo you want, one or the other, both, an ice cream cookie sandwich or cookie dough sandwich, just the cookies... I loved the cappuccino chip ice cream and was torn between fudge brownie cookie dough and chocolate chip cookie dough but went with the CCCD. Flavors were spot on, and the cookie dough has that granular sugar texture. Fun fact: the cookie dough is egg free, so totally safe to eat. More fun facts: - there's a wall of candy when you walk in, in case you need more sugar in your life. - walk past the register to the back for ample seating and ARCADE GAMES! This is totally new since my last visit. We enjoyed pinball, Pac-Man, and a couple disappointing rounds of the claw machine. Not my 5yo over here who cried dramatically when she didn't win a stuffy. - open til 11pm or midnight, depending on the night! So fun! If it's the stuff your dreams are made of, you can go out and do something about it! The staff is friendly and as sweet as the products! Cheers to many more years on the streets of Naperville, Cookie Dough Creations!

While the prices are up there, the quality is there to match. I got the honey vanilla bean for myself and my wife got their popular wild berry flavor. The honey vanilla bean was MORE than suitable for vanilla. The wild berry was also a pleasant surprise for this guy who doesn't try new things! There are dairy-free, gluten-free, and both dairy- and gluten-free options available. My significant other doesn't have any restrictions, so had a very wide choice. On the other hand, there was only one dairy- and gluten-free option on their menu the day we were there - a berry and lemonade sorbet. With no other option available, I did try it and it was good. (They had three different options we could get in pints, but we didn't have a freezer bag to carry it home in.) Jeni's was crowded both times we were there, and I'm sure it has to do with the caliber of their ice cream and wide variety of choices. I didn't count but will guess there were over 30 flavors available for cups or cones. And, their 1/2 scoops are the size of normal scoops. The smallest size available in a cup is two 1/2 scoops. And the difference in price between the sizes is very small. If you have enough of an appetite, I would opt for the larger sizes. The service was great. The location's size is on the small side, we easily found seats. The store is bright and open, and quite comfortable. It was fun and delicious.

I love that the amount of sweetened condensed milk was just right where the coffee didn't end up being too sweet. I do want to point out that the drink didn't seem like the strongest coffee around, and the taste closer resembled tea with a little milk added. I should have gone to the Vietnamese coffee the cashier offered! I also tried a piece of their sour cream coffee cake. Warmed wonderfully, and with just the right amount of sweetness, crispness, and just a little tang from the sour cream. This was terrific, and something I would absolutely get again. The vibe is classic with lots of wood, and plenty of comfortable seating. However, if you choose to take advantage of their WiFi, you are asked to buy a drink first, and then every 30 minutes after an hour. I understand where this comes from, and it serves as a deterrent from someone buying one drink and spending a working day in here. However, it also makes Sweetwaters seem like less of a spot to chill and catch up on Yelp reviews (for e.g.,), as I'd have to set a stopwatch to not break the rules. Final verdict: while the Dragon Eye could've had some coffee flavors, the coffee cake helped bring the experience up. While the vibe is classic, don't expect to sit and work without keeping the drinks coming.
