Awesome spot for smoothies and wraps. They also offer bowls and small snacks! The people working there were so friendly! I love their concept of a smoothie of any kind is $10 with as much or little of any kind of fresh fruit, custom milk or coconut water, sweeteners and add ons! I got a build your own and did mango, coconut, local honey & fresh ginger. It was amazing! Everything on the menu looked so enticing and the hand chalked menu was an awesome touch. Another thing that was so sweet was they allow local artists to have a space to sell their artwork (jewelry, photos, kitchenware, toothpaste, stickers, etc.)! They also were considerate of my husbands nut allergy!

Needed a cold beverage after sitting in the sun. Requested an iced chai tea w/coconut milk. They make their own coconut milk!! It was very delicious. They have many colorful and likely tasty lunch items using fresh ingredients. Just the drink today but I have had sandwiches here in past visits. Friendly people and both in and out seating.

Healthy eating in paradise. That's what they're all about in a nutshell...or should I say - in a wrap! My husband and I had been wanting to check this spot out for a while, and now that we finally got the chance, we literally went back a couple of days later to try more items off their menu. As vegan/plant-based athletes and fitness professionals, we always seek out local, healthy food options whether we're at home or traveling. That's a Wrap checked off every box, from vegan and gluten-free options to fresh meals made with organic, fresh, tasty, and locally grown ingredients. The first wrap we tried was The Valerie which was simple, tasty and fresh. We loved that they serve it to you with paper, not plastic, and even a great reusable cotton mesh produce bag made by another local company (Wahi Maui). We've already used it again to buy veggies at the market. Such a thoughtful and eco-friendly touch! Another highlight was the Gurl in the Curl, their version of an Açaí bowl. Absolutely loaded with a variety of local fresh fruits on top and overall a solid Açaí base (not too watery or icy). It was the perfect snack to share after a hot day in the sun. We also shared their Matcha Latte with almond milk, which was nice and strong (like a real matcha should be). The cafe itself is bright and cozy, staff were very friendly and welcoming, and I loved the watermelon-infused water they had available for their customers too! Great breakfast/brunch/lunch/snack/coffee/tea spot for locals and visitors alike in Kihei!

SERVICE - located in a small strip mall near kameole park I beach - small parking lot in front usually has spots but can be busy during a lunch rush - quaint interior with cozy couches and tables good for seating groups of 1-4 people - friendly staff - restroom in strip mall requires key from staff - ambiance good for a casual breakfast or lunch MENU - bowls, smoothies, and wraps - vegan/vegetarian options available - average price ($13 per item) FOOD - gurl in the curl (7/10): açaí bowl with granola, fresh fruit, coconut, almond butter, and a drizzle of honey. If you want an açaí bowl with no frills, order this. It is exactly what I picture when I think açaí bowl. While it was good, there was nothing really setting it over the edge. The granola was bland and got soggy by the time we got halfway through the bowl. The almond butter was just a smidgen not a generous dollop. - mermaid bowl (6/10): papaya filled with a spirulina smoothie topped with fresh fruit on a granola bed. This was an innovative idea. However, it was difficult to eat. The papaya did not scoop out easily so we had to messily attempt to scoop off the smoothie then cut the papaya and then eat it all together again. - lotus bowl (5/10): tofu and veggies with a tahini sauce and rice. I was expecting this to be more of a stir fry but it looks like a curry. While I liked the variety of veggies, it severely lacked flavor. I had to boost it with a generous dollop of hot sauce. - the flo (5/10): pea protein, avocado, lettuce, tomato, onion, and house sauce in a wrap. This was one of two vegan wraps and the one that looked more substantial. I liked the idea of mimicking a burger but as a wrap. Similar to the lotus bowl the protein lacked flavor. Since it was crumbled it would have been nice if they marinated it or pan fried it before rolling it into the wrap. WOULD I GO BACK? Likely not. The dishes lacked flavor and nothing really stood out.

A hidden gem in Kihei That's a Wrap by Gina and Josh is my go-to spot on Maui for feel-good, flavorful bites and the kind of warm aloha that makes you feel like family. Every visit starts with my favorite trifecta: the homemade vegan chocolate donut (seriously--SO good, rich but not too sweet), the Yoshi breakfast wrap (egg, pesto , ham satisfying, and packed with flavor), and my must-have matcha latte with cinnamon (perfection in a cup). It's clear everything is made with love, and the vibe is always relaxed, friendly, and local. Whether I'm popping in for a quick bite or soaking up the good energy, Also my friend had the avocado toast yum! A Kihei favorite that feeds both the body and soul.

The inside boasts pretty decor with a community style table and few small tables. There's a water station, large menu, and small fridge for grab and go options. Daily specials are on the right side of the menu.

This place is the BEST place for fresh food, made with love and care....and most importantly, it's delicious!! Gina, Josh, Michelle and Christina create such a welcoming atmosphere, which translates to the food. My favorite is the Power Boat, however I also love checking the daily specials too, to switch things up. The food is all made fresh to order too. I'm confident whatever you choose, your taste buds will thank you. They also play great tunes

We loved That's a Wrap so much that we returned multiple times during the trip! During our first visit, I wanted the Nalu, but I asked if I could omit some items due to food sensitivities and preferences. Not only did they make everything perfectly to order, but they also noted that I could sub in the fresh mozzarella for cream cheese. The suggestion of a little "everything bagel" seasoning rounded the wrap up perfectly. The ingredients were so fresh and tasty. I also got the hibiscus tea. Although I didn't want mine sweetened, they offer multiple types of sweeteners. (My mom loved hers with honey.) They provide complimentary tea refills, so that was perfect to finish the second half of my wrap. I felt so satiated without being overly full. Gina and Josh were so nice and welcoming. Gina even remembered the specifics of our favorites after the first visit! Everyone was very happy with their wraps and plate lunches. The menu has something for everyone. The shared parking lot can get really full, so be aware that you might need to wait if you aren't walking in. They do have several outdoor tables for the row of businesses. If it's not rainy, it's a perfect place to enjoy your meal.

By far my most fave lunch spot! Don't be thrown by the shopping plaza location, this is how we roll in Maui. Some of the best food here is from food trucks or little gems in plazas across the island. I know that when I come to TAW I'm going to get a fresh delicious healthy meal made with love and inspiration. I have several faves on the menu-Gurl in the Curl, Buddha Bowl, Vegan Poke, to name a few! Always check to see what the specials are-they really are "extra special" ! What's just as spectacular as the food is the friendly crew and smiling chef! Side note-if there are any baked donuts don't hesitate, grab one or two before they disappear!! You will LOVE them!! read more

I have no words. I went here with my 92 year old Grandparents,, we spent just about $60 on 3 meals. They had great music playing... for my taste, but my Grandparents are very sensitive to noise. Since we were the only ones in the small restaurant, I pleasantly asked the man working if he could turn it down a little. The speaker was right next to the tables. I was told "this is how we roll, it's our vibe." He wasn't apologetic by any means and just ignored my presence. The lady in the back of the restroom was a lot nicer and said "don't worry I'll turn it down a little." She turned it down a tad because I'm sure this man would get very upset if she did it any more. I've lived on the island most of my life and I rarely encounter people so rude. I am repulsed. I almost walked out but my Grandfather was hungry so I just tried to deal. I should not have been treated this way and I am in complete shock. Not to mention the wrap I had was mostly lettuce lacking any sort of flavor. Will not be coming back to say the least. read more

I thought I wrote a review before.....odd. Anyway, this place is great. The lunch wraps are amazing plus add-on a mint tea! Plus you can bring your dog as they are very dog friendly. The hidden catch I didn't know was the breakfast food. I had no idea so the other day got a cold brew, a donut and a breakfast muffin. It was awesome. I live here, go there often and had no idea about breakfast. Anyway, if you want good eats, relaxed environment and not mile long lines, check them out.....and yes, very healthy. Aloha read more

This is my second lunch visit, recommended by Miro B. and I gotta say, it great! Awesome customer service by the owners, the husband and wife duo! I had The Nuka wrap the first day which is a smoke salmon wrap and The Maria in the second, which is a turkey wrap. The wraps are large and brought to your table. Their organic coffee is tasty and the lemon water is free. You can choose to sit outside or inside. Inside seating is small, so for large groups you have to sit outside in the public seating or take your food to go. The first day we sat outside which had a nice cool December breeze. The second day we sat inside which was nice and comfy. I'm definitely eating here again. read more

This place is so good, if you like healthy creative tasty eats made from fresh local farm produce. I am moving to a more plant based diet - this place makes it easy to go grab something vegan quick and I am sure it will be delicious. She has many vegan items on the menu and always a special that changes daily. But don't worry, she has non vegan dishes and wraps too! I always grab some of the unique hummus offerings out of the cold case that she changes daily and her naturally sweetened tapioca desserts feed my sweet tooth without fueling any guilt! If I could give this cafe more than 5 stars, I definitely would. I've only tried the Valerie wrap, which I thought was just going to be a simple wrap....how good can a wrap be, right?!...well, I was blown away. It was DE-LIC-IOUS. Probably the best wrap I've ever had. Believe me when I say, the picture doesn't even begin to do the flavor justice. Do you know how it seems like some people just somehow seem to have a innate ability to make food and pack in tons of yummy flavor?! Yeah, well, meet Gina, the co-owner and mastermind with the knives. She and her husband, Josh, run the business and they offer a flavor-packed menu with something for everyone. The cafe is across the street from Kam I in the Dolphin Plaza and offers a beautifully remodeled and clean indoor dining area as well as an outdoor seating area for those who'd prefer to continue to enjoy the sun. They also have a convenient "grab and go" case with circulating fresh items for a quick and easy breakfast, lunch, or snack. Their prices are some of the best I've seen in all of Maui, especially for the quality of ingredients they use. I couldn't be happier to have stumbled upon this hidden gem. There is Aloha in every bite of their food. Our family of 4 eats there once a week, so we have eaten literally everything on the menu. The plate lunch specials are a must-try. The wraps give us energy instead of that heavy tired feeling. The tropical fruit lemonades are divine! Most of all, huge Mahalos to Gina & Josh for staying open the whole time during COVID-19 and keeping the spirit upbeat and positive. This must not have been easy for them... Well this place is definitely a little gem. Delicious food and amazing service. The staff is such a delight. I truly enjoy going to this place. I have have only been for breakfast but I can not wait to go back and try more items on the menu. The sweet potato power boat was surprisingly the most amazing thing. I love sweet potatoes but would not thing to eat them for breakfast with almond butter, fresh fruit, honey, and more. Super delicious. I've also tried their Nuka Wrap with smoked salmon, capers, cream cheese and greens. Definitely Ono. And their drinks are just as amazing... I've tried their lavender cold brew and red velvet latte. What a beautiful way to start the day. I had the tofu scramble bowl (I think that's what it was called, and technically I added a steamer egg) and it was just what I needed -- light, flavorful, delicious and clearly made with love. My partner had the brunch bowl (which had vegan chili) and enjoyed it with a dash of the Fat Cat hot sauce. We shared a chia pudding with Maui mangoes and it was so good. You can get the same thing at a Pret in New York and it wouldn't be half as good. Overall, a great place to have delicious, healthy food. Can I start by saying..... JUST GO HERE! We are huge wrap fans and drove over to Maui Bread Company for lunch. Well standing inside Maui Bread Company looking at the menu and we just couldn't resist trying their place located next door! The interior, the food, the owner all FANTASTIC! Best wrap I have ever had! We had The Maria and it was incredible! I would highly recommend trying it with very generous portions, quality food, and caring staff this place is a gem. My second review for these guys as came back after a year, with family this time and during Covid, and was the first place we ate, right from the airport!! ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT again!! A must stop by for a quick fresh warm or cold brunch or lunch meal! Staff are warm and very friendly and attention. Very calm and natural presence and ambience. If you haven't tried an array of healthy breakfast items and lunch by amazing Gina then you are definitely missing out . The gluten free and Vegan donuts are unbelievable , or try an açaí bowl made in many different ways a delightful start to any day . There is definitely something for everyone . We stopped here on our last day in Maui and my only regret is not finding it sooner! The inclusive menu had options for everyone in our group. The staff is warm and welcoming. The vegan and GF pastries were phenomenal! We tried the cinnamon donut, the strawberry donut, a cookie, and a chocolate cupcake. A usual customer recommended that we buy them while they were still available, and sure enough, the rest were sold out before we left. Would highly recommend this spot! read more

How to describe That's a Wrap? The long answer is the flavors are unique and delicious. The colors and textures are fun. The food is beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. Having tasted about a third of the menu and spoken with the owners it's clear that the ingredients are thoughtfully chosen. The drinks are fabulous. The decor and vibe are funky and inviting. I came in today for my first time and was absolutely delighted. Meeting Josh and Gina made my day. They are so welcoming and just "good people". And the food is fantastic. I got a wrap with turkey, green apple, and brie cheese to go. It was so fantastic. They also make their own juices and lemonade. They have a great coffee set up. The desserts all look fantastic... I had one of the cookies and it was delicious. It's very clear that these guys put a lot of love into their work and into their food. It's my favorite kind of place to visit. Thank you! read more

Friendly people, ono food, and little touches that make you feel taken care of. It was busy when we were there, so it took about 10 minutes to order and another 15 minutes for the food to come out. Since we ordered separately, my food came out first and even though I planned to wait, I had enough time to eat it while waiting for my dad's. The chicken pesto panini ended up being quite good. The chicken was moist and flavorful and there was more than enough cheese. The sun dried tomatoes added a nice pop of flavor, although I wish there had been more. My favorite part was the pesto spread and pine nuts, especially the garlicky flavor from the pesto. My dad also thought his hot dog was good. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I enjoyed my sandwich and my dad enjoyed his hot dog, so I would be interested in trying more of the menu.

Thankfully the food is MUCH better than "just okay", it is generally outstanding. I rotate starters and salads because there are so many great choices. The Caesar Salad is about as good as they get, but I really, really like the Maui Greek Salad. With at least four people we start with the Seafood Tower, but find it just too big for two of us. Other than that the Kalua Pig Pot Stickers, Charred Octopus, Crab Cakes and Blackened Ahi are the starters I rotate through. For my Main, I am less eclectic. I have a hard time getting away from the Diver Scallops and Scampi. I have tried other dishes, the Abalone, Kona Lobster and Ribeye (I know, I know, who orders steak in a seafood restaurant), but I keep coming back to. For Dessert, I am also in a rut, but I love desserts they set on fire and in this case it is Bananas Foster. I do sneak bites off my DW's Creme Brulee, as does off my BF. The service is terrific, attentive without being intrusive. I used to joke about the Chicago store that if you knocked a spoon off the table someone would catch it before it hit the floor. He vanished after the big ticket part of the meal (the 82$ lamb) and mentioned a comped panna cotta for our anniversary after we'd ordered a paid desert. Oops we owe you that next time (but you'll take our money today) Our food runner was great! Super upbeat, always with a smile. Bar area was relatively quiet until it wasn't. We wouldn't spend $350 this way again but would sit at the bar for sashimi and bounce.

We had the lobster benedict-- buttery lobster, on freshly baked bread, topped with poached eggs, tomato, spinach, and a creamy hollandaise sauce. This was beyond our expectations! We also had the french toast which was luscious, we are still thinking about the fresh bread and the sweet sauce. We will definitely be coming back here!

I came here with my husband and overheard the owner of the resturant arguing with a customer about if honey is vegan or not. Honey is made by bees, for bees, not humans. Either way, yelling at a customer for asking for what she ordered (a vegan bowl WITHOUT HONEY, and she was very polite about it) is truly horrible customer service. As someone who worked in food service i learned the customer is always right. The woman who runs this place is extremely entitled and hostile. Not a pleasent atmosphere at all and the food is aggresivley mediocre. It is also very bland. I did also hear the owner say she is vegan, i would love to know what kind of vegan runs a flesh, breastmilk, and ovary (egg) selling resturant. Just curious. Anyway, the woman who runs this place should keep her oubursts private and not direct them at paying customers. What goes around comes around..‍ read more

We found this amazing little cafe after we moved from Honokowai to Kihei I still remember the first time I walked into That's A Wrap and was met by Gina, one of the most kind and generous people I have ever known. Some people have strong mana in a positive way. We all know those people who light up the room when they walk in. People are naturally attracted to them because of the light in their eyes, the purity in their countenance, and the aloha we feel from their hearts connecting with our own. That is positive mana. That is Gina. We have enjoyed many meals together and it quickly became a go-to spot for my keiki after school. Gina and Josh have become family to us - a part of our 'Ohana. If I could give this place twenty stars I would. The Owners Josh and Gina are Rad!! Whatever you on order off the menu, you cannot go wrong. They are so super accommodating with their menu as well, that is why if you are vegan to Keto to anything in between, they have you covered. The Local Honey is to die for!!!! I get the powerboat that has almond butter and honey, and it is the bomb . I have Vegan Friends who eat the honey and it is just delicious. When in Kihei, near Dolphin Plaza, you need to stop in for a visit and some delicious food. Everything about this place is great, the owners are so gracious and kind, you get a huge hello and smile when you first walk in, that sets the pace for your entire visit. Cannot say enough great things about That's a Wrap at the Dolphin Plaza in Kihei! First off, the owners are absolutely AMAZING--some of the kindest, coolest people you'll ever meet. Their vibe is so welcoming, laid-back, and genuine. You can tell they truly care about their customers. Now, let's talk about the food... I eat there way more than I probably should , but I just can't help it! Everything is made fresh from scratch by the owners, who are there every single day, and every meal is consistently delicious. I ordered the vegan Gurl in the Curl bowl this morning and it came out smothered in honey. Nowhere on the menu did it mention there was honey in it. When I brought it to their attention the owner proceeded to argue with me about how all the vegans she knows eats honey and how the honey she gets is "ethical". She also proceeded to call me "self righteous and entitled" for simply not wanting honey in my bowl. Truth is, vegans don't eat honey or exploit animals to as far is possible and my choice to not eat it, shouldn't have to be explained. While they did end up fixing the label on the menu board after our conversation, it was a super absurd experience and I certainly wouldn't trust whatever else is in the food labeled "vegan". read more

That's a wrap is my go to place. I can't recommend it enough! I have so many favorites its hard to say just one. So here it goes.... the coconut bowl always fresh and best tropical fruit available. They use all sorts of yummy unique fruit! The Buddha bowl is a vegetarian daily special that is incredible! I'm not vegetarian but often order because the flavor is just amazing! They make an incredible unsweetened Chai latte! Best I have ever had. Doesn't need the sweet and I am a sugar junky! I LOVE the fact they use what is in season and shop for local products. By far my favorite Mom & Pop stop on the island. My diet is so restrictive (somewhere between AIP and Paleo), making it pretty hard to eat out. Gina and her staff have never made me feel like I was a bother for having to modify my order. In fact Gina remembers all my restrictions even when I forget to mention it, and I have a lot. The lunch specials are the bomb!! Oh and Gina bakes all kine gluten free goodies if you're lucky enough to get there before they sell out. Gina also fights endlessly to speak up for those who don't have a voice, feeds our community when times are hard, and is a fierce advocate for animals. I'm a fan for sure!! read more

That's a Wrap is one of my favorites. The owners and staff are wonderful. They always have a smile and will make any changes that you request. Everything is made fresh and their daily breakfast and lunch specials are awesome. They have both indoor and outdoor sitting where you can enjoy your meals or take them to go. That's a Wrap also helps to support local organizations and artists. They fed many families that were displaced by the fire and even hosted a private Christmas dinner for them. Gina & Josh have created such a beautiful space here. The moment you walk in the energy is calming and relaxing. Good vibes only. The food they offer is made with nothing but love. All the wraps and recipes are created, inspired, and named after Family members or family recipes. All the wraps are made to order and customizable. Baked goods offered daily. TERRIFIC! We had "The Valerie" (a beet hummus wrap) and the avocado toast with balsamic glaze and strawberries. Both delicious, as is the kombucha, the wonderful teas, and the strong coffee. Dolphin Plaza is a little unassuming; from the street (South Kihei Road) all you really see is the Pizza Hut. Great spot across from Kam 1. Very clean with outdoor seating available. Inside is very nice, good music. We ordered the Honey Girl wrap & Girl in the Curl Açaí bowl.Both were super tasty and very fresh. Service was very friendly and nice.
