Awesome spot for smoothies and wraps. They also offer bowls and small snacks! The people working there were so friendly! I love their concept of a smoothie of any kind is $10 with as much or little of any kind of fresh fruit, custom milk or coconut water, sweeteners and add ons! I got a build your own and did mango, coconut, local honey & fresh ginger. It was amazing! Everything on the menu looked so enticing and the hand chalked menu was an awesome touch. Another thing that was so sweet was they allow local artists to have a space to sell their artwork (jewelry, photos, kitchenware, toothpaste, stickers, etc.)! They also were considerate of my husbands nut allergy!

Needed a cold beverage after sitting in the sun. Requested an iced chai tea w/coconut milk. They make their own coconut milk!! It was very delicious. They have many colorful and likely tasty lunch items using fresh ingredients. Just the drink today but I have had sandwiches here in past visits. Friendly people and both in and out seating.

Healthy eating in paradise. That's what they're all about in a nutshell...or should I say - in a wrap! My husband and I had been wanting to check this spot out for a while, and now that we finally got the chance, we literally went back a couple of days later to try more items off their menu. As vegan/plant-based athletes and fitness professionals, we always seek out local, healthy food options whether we're at home or traveling. That's a Wrap checked off every box, from vegan and gluten-free options to fresh meals made with organic, fresh, tasty, and locally grown ingredients. The first wrap we tried was The Valerie which was simple, tasty and fresh. We loved that they serve it to you with paper, not plastic, and even a great reusable cotton mesh produce bag made by another local company (Wahi Maui). We've already used it again to buy veggies at the market. Such a thoughtful and eco-friendly touch! Another highlight was the Gurl in the Curl, their version of an Açaí bowl. Absolutely loaded with a variety of local fresh fruits on top and overall a solid Açaí base (not too watery or icy). It was the perfect snack to share after a hot day in the sun. We also shared their Matcha Latte with almond milk, which was nice and strong (like a real matcha should be). The cafe itself is bright and cozy, staff were very friendly and welcoming, and I loved the watermelon-infused water they had available for their customers too! Great breakfast/brunch/lunch/snack/coffee/tea spot for locals and visitors alike in Kihei!

SERVICE - located in a small strip mall near kameole park I beach - small parking lot in front usually has spots but can be busy during a lunch rush - quaint interior with cozy couches and tables good for seating groups of 1-4 people - friendly staff - restroom in strip mall requires key from staff - ambiance good for a casual breakfast or lunch MENU - bowls, smoothies, and wraps - vegan/vegetarian options available - average price ($13 per item) FOOD - gurl in the curl (7/10): açaí bowl with granola, fresh fruit, coconut, almond butter, and a drizzle of honey. If you want an açaí bowl with no frills, order this. It is exactly what I picture when I think açaí bowl. While it was good, there was nothing really setting it over the edge. The granola was bland and got soggy by the time we got halfway through the bowl. The almond butter was just a smidgen not a generous dollop. - mermaid bowl (6/10): papaya filled with a spirulina smoothie topped with fresh fruit on a granola bed. This was an innovative idea. However, it was difficult to eat. The papaya did not scoop out easily so we had to messily attempt to scoop off the smoothie then cut the papaya and then eat it all together again. - lotus bowl (5/10): tofu and veggies with a tahini sauce and rice. I was expecting this to be more of a stir fry but it looks like a curry. While I liked the variety of veggies, it severely lacked flavor. I had to boost it with a generous dollop of hot sauce. - the flo (5/10): pea protein, avocado, lettuce, tomato, onion, and house sauce in a wrap. This was one of two vegan wraps and the one that looked more substantial. I liked the idea of mimicking a burger but as a wrap. Similar to the lotus bowl the protein lacked flavor. Since it was crumbled it would have been nice if they marinated it or pan fried it before rolling it into the wrap. WOULD I GO BACK? Likely not. The dishes lacked flavor and nothing really stood out.

A hidden gem in Kihei That's a Wrap by Gina and Josh is my go-to spot on Maui for feel-good, flavorful bites and the kind of warm aloha that makes you feel like family. Every visit starts with my favorite trifecta: the homemade vegan chocolate donut (seriously--SO good, rich but not too sweet), the Yoshi breakfast wrap (egg, pesto , ham satisfying, and packed with flavor), and my must-have matcha latte with cinnamon (perfection in a cup). It's clear everything is made with love, and the vibe is always relaxed, friendly, and local. Whether I'm popping in for a quick bite or soaking up the good energy, Also my friend had the avocado toast yum! A Kihei favorite that feeds both the body and soul.

Cute cafè offering fresh fruit smoothies, bowls, and vegan pastries. I'd recommend the smoothie or fruit bowls. Staff is friendly and they offer local products. The inside boasts pretty decor with a community style table and few small tables. There's a water station, large menu, and small fridge for grab and go options. Daily specials are on the right side of the menu.

This place is the BEST place for fresh food, made with love and care....and most importantly, it's delicious!! Gina, Josh, Michelle and Christina create such a welcoming atmosphere, which translates to the food. My favorite is the Power Boat, however I also love checking the daily specials too, to switch things up. The food is all made fresh to order too. I'm confident whatever you choose, your taste buds will thank you. They also play great tunes

We loved That's a Wrap so much that we returned multiple times during the trip! During our first visit, I wanted the Nalu, but I asked if I could omit some items due to food sensitivities and preferences. Not only did they make everything perfectly to order, but they also noted that I could sub in the fresh mozzarella for cream cheese. The suggestion of a little "everything bagel" seasoning rounded the wrap up perfectly. The ingredients were so fresh and tasty. I also got the hibiscus tea. Although I didn't want mine sweetened, they offer multiple types of sweeteners. (My mom loved hers with honey.) They provide complimentary tea refills, so that was perfect to finish the second half of my wrap. I felt so satiated without being overly full. Gina and Josh were so nice and welcoming. Gina even remembered the specifics of our favorites after the first visit! Everyone was very happy with their wraps and plate lunches. The menu has something for everyone. The shared parking lot can get really full, so be aware that you might need to wait if you aren't walking in. They do have several outdoor tables for the row of businesses. If it's not rainy, it's a perfect place to enjoy your meal.

This is such an incredible place. If you have food allergies, it is a must. If you do not have food allergies it is still a must. Chef Gina has incredible creations. GF wraps are amazing. So many options to choose from, each one very tantalizing. Whenever we are in Maui, we come here many times for lunch. This place is phenomenal! Whether you're a meat eater or a vegetarian/vegan, there are SO many delicious options! Some of my absolute faves are The Power Boat..a sweet potato with almond butter, fresh fruit, honey, lots of CHIA SEEDS, and other healthy yummies like goji berries and hemp seeds. It's my go to if I get there before noon! Their Avocado Toast is done on naan bread which is unique and super delish. They don't skimp on the amount of avocado and the homemade bruschetta option is sooo good! Let's talk about the Honey Girl. I could eat this wrap every single week! High quality smoked turkey, brie cheese, and arugula with a crazy good honey vinaigrette that's tangy, sweet and absolute perfection. The homemade chili is BOMB..one of mine and my husband's faves. They do a different vegetarian "Buddha Bowl" every day that varies from savory to spicy to OMG what is this amazing flavor combo?! Always super fresh and hearty. They also have a killer selection of grab and go items that are perfect for the beach! The homemade pickles are addictive and I won't even tell you how amazing the wasabi lemon deviled eggs are. Un. Real. Lots of other delicious things to take out like homemade salsas, chia seed puddings, fresh juices, cold brew coffees and chai tea. In addition to delicious, high quality food, the owners are nice people! Genuinely welcoming to their customers, and super nice about modifications. That's a Wrap is a GEM in Kihei. I had a Jana Bowl (I think that was the name) and it had 3 turkey chipotle meatballs in it. Quinoa, fresh veggies some leafy greens and pepitas. The love, care, & creativity Josh & Gina invest into their food is truly felt the second you walk in the door. I have been coming to That's a Wrap for quite a while & their food has genuinely never disappointed! Every staff member I've come across is beyond willing to answer questions & provide options based on dietary restrictions. The ambiance & vibe of the café will always have you craving more. I love the diversity within the menu & the daily specials are insane!!! I would recommend the Vegan Chili bowl & the Sweet Power Boat, but every single menu option is amazing! SO GOOD. If you're looking for a more healthy option for lunch, this is your spot! We tried this place on a whim and so glad we did! My mom and I both had the Honey Girl Wrap. It was soo good definitely recommend. I also had a blended version of their Big Wave Kombucha, more fruity and the ginger/turmeric blend. HIGHLY recommend this if you are a Kombucha drinker!! It seriously was one of the best I've had! Also, you if you have room for more you should try their Love Bars- they were a banana and oat gooey goodness. Ive heard about this place from multiple friends and have to say, it did not disappoint. First of all, the energy and ambience is nothing short of cute and quaint. The food is obviously fresh and nourishing to the soul. With just the food and atmosphere alone I would give five stars. But to top it all off the customer service is phenomenal . I could be a difficult customer with many requests and they didnt make me feel at all like I was being complicated. I loved this place!!! The decor inside is super cozy and cute and immediately welcoming. The staff is very kind and helpful, I had several questions because I had never been here before. After being on vacation and stuffing myself with a little too much Hawaiian bbq, my body was craving vegetables and healthy food. This cafe offers vegetarian, vegan, and omnivorous options. Being vegetable deficient, I ordered a vegan wrap of the day. I forget the name but it had hummus, avocado, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, and local greens in a herb-y wrap. When I ordered it, I thought it was pretty basic but it was DELICIOUS. The hummus or some herb they put inside that wrap was AMAZING. I also ordered a golden latte with almond milk because my body needed a recharge since I felt a cold arising. My mom ordered the caprese wrap and loved it. They use paper straws and biodegradable cups. I wish I lived in Maui so I could always come back to this place. read more

Ahhhh finally a vegan friendly cafe near Wailea!! So far I've tried their "poke" bowl and their Valerie wrap. In the poke bowl, they used beets as a substitution for fish. I love this place!!! There is so much love put in every dish and great Vegan options which is hard to find. The owners are always so friendly and kind and you can tell they love serving high quality dishes with lots of love. It's affordable too which is huge for meals in maui. Whenever I am on the south side I make a special stop just to see their special of the day or grab something from their grab and go fridge. Their vegan donuts are a must as is the Avo Toast. I'm such a fan! Definitely worth seeking out for a healthy snack and meal and good vibes. read more

This little gem located in Dolphin Plaza is great! I haven't had anything but their special wrap of the day because it always looks so delicious I'm afraid I might miss it next time I'm in there! The owners are a phenomenal couple that make all of their food 'with extra love'. If you're looking for something new and exciting that's off the beaten path of the same old same old this is the spot! Also they have grab and go side options.... today was special Christmas guacamole that looked right out of the grinch (in other words it was green with some kind of cranberry things on top). My only regret is that I wasn't coming straight home or I would've taken some of that too. If just the looks make you think 'I NEED THAT', it must be amazing (also home made that morning!) Such a delightful discovery today on the first day of the year. As regulars to the island especially to Kihei, we have our regular spots, this place just beat them all. Good nutritious and tasty food can hardly get better than this. Everything we ate, wraps, kimchi, teas, smoothies, lemonades were all just so filling and tasty and nutritious. We have been on the road for almost two weeks now and when I want really healthy food I ask my husband to cook. I might just give him a break now and come here instead. Great customer service and the best gluten free wrap that I have ever tasted. O and I forgot, the best gluten free and vegan chocolate donuts on the island. read more

Delicious wraps! We had a craving for some fresh food and the wraps were super fresh and so tasty. They had great service and they brought the food out pretty quickly. The shop is a little smaller space wise but was very clean and had great ambience. The food was so good to me that I tried to make a similar wrap when I got back home to Washington, it was good but couldn't match what they made us. Delicious! read more

I can't believe we didn't know about this place till today ! Granted they haven't been there that long but we come to Maui every year and always look for delicious, healthy food (we stay in Wailea). I was searching and found them on Yelp (thank you fellow Yelpers). Wow is it just so good! The selections are amazing, the food is all fresh and so delicious and the owners are really great people so I'm happy to support them! I feel like many similar type eateries are in upcountry etc but not this one ! Finally we can enjoy yummy, healthy food right in Kihei. (my other favorite is Coconuts Fish Cafe). It's such a pleasure to be able to find a place that puts their hearts and soul into what they do. Loved this place! Highly recommended if you want a great breakfast spot in the area. My fiancé and I stopped here while visiting Maui. The food was delicious, made with high quality ingredients and a lot of love. The owners are incredibly sweet too and really care about customer service. I walked in one day...that's how it started. I walked in one day for a bite to eat. I walked in another day and then another day and then another day. This has become my favourite Maui spot. The food is fresh and always inspiring. Gina is knowledgeable and loves to talk about her inspirations. On my very first visit to "That's a Wrap Cafe", I was warmly greeted by owners Josh and Gina. Gina suggested her favourite item from the menu and I was in love with the true integrity and beauty of her food. Every time I return, I am flattered by the attention given to my experience. Wonderful find with lots of gluten free options. I think this is now a daily stop while visiting the area. The avocado toast . Then the gluten free wrap for any one of their wraps is wonderful. Not to mention the couple that owns/runs the place are so nice! read more

The chicken was moist and flavorful and there was more than enough cheese. The sun dried tomatoes added a nice pop of flavor, although I wish there had been more. My favorite part was the pesto spread and pine nuts, especially the garlicky flavor from the pesto. My dad also thought his hot dog was good. The Caesar Salad is about as good as they get, but I really, really like the Maui Greek Salad. With at least four people we start with the Seafood Tower, but find it just too big for two of us. Other than that the Kalua Pig Pot Stickers, Charred Octopus, Crab Cakes and Blackened Ahi are the starters I rotate through. For my Main, I am less eclectic. I have a hard time getting away from the Diver Scallops and Scampi. I have tried other dishes, the Abalone, Kona Lobster and Ribeye (I know, I know, who orders steak in a seafood restaurant), but I keep coming back to. I came here with my husband and overheard the owner of the resturant arguing with a customer about if honey is vegan or not. Honey is made by bees, for bees, not humans. Either way, yelling at a customer for asking for what she ordered (a vegan bowl WITHOUT HONEY, and she was very polite about it) is truly horrible customer service. As someone who worked in food service i learned the customer is always right. The woman who runs this place is extremely entitled and hostile. Not a pleasent atmosphere at all and the food is aggresivley mediocre. It is also very bland. I did also hear the owner say she is vegan, i would love to know what kind of vegan runs a flesh, breastmilk, and ovary (egg) selling resturant. Just curious. Anyway, the woman who runs this place should keep her oubursts private and not direct them at paying customers. What goes around comes around..‍ read more

We found this amazing little cafe after we moved from Honokowai to Kihei I still remember the first time I walked into That's A Wrap and was met by Gina, one of the most kind and generous people I have ever known. Some people have strong mana in a positive way. We all know those people who light up the room when they walk in. People are naturally attracted to them because of the light in their eyes, the purity in their countenance, and the aloha we feel from their hearts connecting with our own. That is positive mana. That is Gina. We have enjoyed many meals together and it quickly became a go-to spot for my keiki after school. Gina and Josh have become family to us - a part of our 'Ohana. If you are looking for some 'Ono grinds (delicious food) on Maui, mixed with the true spirt of aloha, stop in and stay awhile. You'll be glad you did! read more

If I could give this place twenty stars I would. The Owners Josh and Gina are Rad!! Whatever you on order off the menu, you cannot go wrong. They are so super accommodating with their menu as well, that is why if you are vegan to Keto to anything in between, they have you covered. The Local Honey is to die for!!!! I get the powerboat that has almond butter and honey, and it is the bomb . I have Vegan Friends who eat the honey and it is just delicious. When in Kihei, near Dolphin Plaza, you need to stop in for a visit and some delicious food. Everything about this place is great, the owners are so gracious and kind, you get a huge hello and smile when you first walk in, that sets the pace for your entire visit. Cannot say enough great things about That's a Wrap at the Dolphin Plaza in Kihei! First off, the owners are absolutely AMAZING--some of the kindest, coolest people you'll ever meet. Their vibe is so welcoming, laid-back, and genuine. You can tell they truly care about their customers. Now, let's talk about the food... I eat there way more than I probably should , but I just can't help it! Everything is made fresh from scratch by the owners, who are there every single day, and every meal is consistently delicious. I've never had anything that wasn't amazing. It's easily one of my favorite places to eat on Maui. Whether you're a local or just visiting, That's a Wrap is an absolute must-try. I ordered the vegan Gurl in the Curl bowl this morning and it came out smothered in honey. Nowhere on the menu did it mention there was honey in it. When I brought it to their attention the owner proceeded to argue with me about how all the vegans she knows eats honey and how the honey she gets is "ethical". She also proceeded to call me "self righteous and entitled" for simply not wanting honey in my bowl. Truth is, vegans don't eat honey or exploit animals to as far is possible and my choice to not eat it, shouldn't have to be explained. While they did end up fixing the label on the menu board after our conversation, it was a super absurd experience and I certainly wouldn't trust whatever else is in the food labeled "vegan". read more

That's a wrap is my go to place. I can't recommend it enough! I have so many favorites its hard to say just one. So here it goes.... the coconut bowl always fresh and best tropical fruit available. They use all sorts of yummy unique fruit! The Buddha bowl is a vegetarian daily special that is incredible! I'm not vegetarian but often order because the flavor is just amazing! They make an incredible unsweetened Chai latte! Best I have ever had. Doesn't need the sweet and I am a sugar junky! I LOVE the fact they use what is in season and shop for local products. By far my favorite Mom & Pop stop on the island. My diet is so restrictive (somewhere between AIP and Paleo), making it pretty hard to eat out. Gina and her staff have never made me feel like I was a bother for having to modify my order. In fact Gina remembers all my restrictions even when I forget to mention it, and I have a lot. The lunch specials are the bomb!! Oh and Gina bakes all kine gluten free goodies if you're lucky enough to get there before they sell out. Gina also fights endlessly to speak up for those who don't have a voice, feeds our community when times are hard, and is a fierce advocate for animals. I'm a fan for sure!! read more

That's a Wrap is one of my favorites. The owners and staff are wonderful. They always have a smile and will make any changes that you request. Everything is made fresh and their daily breakfast and lunch specials are awesome. They have both indoor and outdoor sitting where you can enjoy your meals or take them to go. That's a Wrap also helps to support local organizations and artists. They fed many families that were displaced by the fire and even hosted a private Christmas dinner for them. Gina & Josh have created such a beautiful space here. The moment you walk in the energy is calming and relaxing. Good vibes only. The food they offer is made with nothing but love. All the wraps and recipes are created, inspired, and named after Family members or family recipes. All the wraps are made to order and customizable. Baked goods offered daily. TERRIFIC! We had "The Valerie" (a beet hummus wrap) and the avocado toast with balsamic glaze and strawberries. Both delicious, as is the kombucha, the wonderful teas, and the strong coffee. Dolphin Plaza is a little unassuming; from the street (South Kihei Road) all you really see is the Pizza Hut. Do go up, because in addition to That's A Wrap there are other fine establishments here. read more

So many recommendations so I had to come try them out. PHENOMENAL!!! Great spot across from Kam 1. Very clean with outdoor seating available. Inside is very nice, good music. We ordered the Honey Girl wrap & Girl in the Curl Açaí bowl.Both were super tasty and very fresh. Service was very friendly and nice. Our friends had some specific food allergies and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. We will be back. Best cafe we have found. read more
