    Aperol spritz, espresso martini
    Nina C.

Came here in between trips up the mountain, while on a Ski day at Vail, and although they had no seating, the place was packed and had a very classy and fancy atmosphere. Luckily, nobody was paying attention to us, soaking up the warmth and sitting on the benches where people generally wait to be seated for the restaurant. We went over to the bar and ordered some cocktails, I got an espresso martini, and my friend got the aperol spritz. Personally, I prefer my espresso martinis without Bailey's and not so creamy, but the flavor was good and the bartender was very sweet. She was nice enough not to force me to have my ID and was excepting of a photo since we had a locker at the bottom of the mountain and it was not easily accessible. The prices are exactly what you think, decently hi, almost $20 for a cocktail, but nothing you wouldn't expect from a place like this. I'm told that the bar seating is first come first serve so it gets pretty competitive. To be safe, if you want to eat, make a reservation as soon as you know you're coming to the mountain. Cheers!

Such a fun place to Apré or just ride up and have lunch. The bar area has a lively ambiance. The servers are really friendly and the food/drinks are great! Just remember, you have to have a ski pass or it's a $75 round trip gondola ride.

We visited in February 2020 and loved the ambiance and nice options on their menu. We are primarily vegetarian and had many options to choose from. I am delayed in contributing this review, though the 10th is on my mind as we are scheduled to return the first week of February 2022 with additional family members so are hoping for a similar experience to our first visit. In February 2020 we had an amazing bottle of Chassagne-Montrachet (chardonnay) that accompanied the onion soup that was made with a vegetable broth, our "wild thing" flatbread, and another entree that I cannot recall specifically (photo looks like a pea or asparagus risotto). We appreciated the warm setting and good service and truly hope the menu options will be as good during our upcoming visit. We wish the restaurant would keep its menu posted on either the Vail or Tock websites. We made our reservation for this upcoming visit through Tock and they require a deposit of $20 per person. We are glad we made the reservation in advance as when I visit the Tock site now, it shows no reservations as being available.

    Colorado striped bass

We made a lunch reservation here while skiing at Vail this week. The tables are nicely spaced out, and our table had a wonderful view (photo attached). We ordered the pot pie and the Colorado striped bass. The pot pie was huge - and likely would have been better to share - that said, it was creamy, the potatoes peas and carrots were perfectly cooked and the gravy inside it was delicious (and bubbling when it came out!). I also loved the way they put together the top/puff pastry. The striped bass was also perfectly cooked, and very flavorful. The sauce it was in was really good, and I loved the olives in addition to the green beans, potatoes and tomatoes. Overall - it was a different, and really nice experience to have a really nice meal while skiing! Will for sure be back!

The food is great and the service too. We loved the lobster biscuit soup and the club sandwich.

Hot chocolate, draft beer & black moguls.

Is there a way to dine here without having to ski and riding the lift?

We would like to see the 2022 menu as we have a reservation for the first week of February. We loved the selection back in Feb 2020, though it looks like the options are more limited now. Can someone please share a photo of the current menu please?

The breakfast buffet on the weekend was wonderful with a plethora of savory of sweet options. On our weekday morning, they didn't have the buffet but instead allotted us credits to order of the menu. The breakfast sandwich was a hefty portion. The avocado toast was filling and flavorful, and the arugula salad on the side was great. The fruit plate and Belgian waffles were fun shareables but nothing spectacular about them. We really enjoyed the fresh sunny dining room with windows for walls and ceiling.

They had everything you would crave for breakfast and it was only 42 per person except the alcoholic drinks. Considering Vail as an expensive place this was our cheapest meal we had with very good quality and service. My fav was the german sausage which taste like the real ones in . Even the people you would see there not like anything in CA! Great atmosphere! Little cups of smoothies were yummy too. Until next time!

Food: - French onion soup: not overly salty, the short rib is nice, but it's pretty small - Tuna tartare: this had a good kick to it - Pork Belly Porchetta: good flavor, not too fatty, good sides - a solid dish - Purple cabbage: pretty rich and meaty, interesting and good on a cold day Portions were on the smaller side. My main issue is that service started out good, but then our server went MIA because like they assigned him tables in various parts of the restaurant, which makes no sense and sets him up for failure, so I think it's a management issue. I was not happy that I had to flag down multiple other people for a water refill, another wine order, and dessert. The food itself was good, but service was just really disappointing. Honestly, I feel bad for our server - he was well intentioned but was dealt a rough assignment. Note: there's also a 3% credit card surcharge, which I've NEVER seen at any other high end restaurant.

As anticipated, the place was gorgeous...with a slightly formal air. Given that it was in the Vail Village (near the ski slope), my husband was able to enter the place in his rugged ski suit. Despite the ambiance, it was a bit dead. I was disappointed with the lack of French music overhead...though maybe it was on so low, I didn't hear it? There were plenty of breakfast-brunch options, but on the menu, some items were noted as taking 20 minutes (which we didn't have time for!), so I was a tad bummed about that. In any case, my husband chose this Huckleberry Bacon French Toast, and I ordered the Maryland Crab Benedict. For drinks, we both just ordered plain coffee. As expected, the foods were good. I was more impressed with my husband's choice, this super-fancy french toast. Not only did it look amazing, it tasted spectacular! Mine was good, but disappointing at the same time. I really liked the Crab Benedict, but I only half-liked the side salad (basically just Arugula with a few Walnuts and Figs). The total bill for these items ran over 100 bucks... which, was to be expected in Vail. However, for such a pricey breakfast, I felt that I should have absolutely loved it...but it felt short of that. Overall, I just expected a bit more from this breakfast experience. Again, the decor was gorgeous, but the ambiance wasn't fully there (because of the lack of music?). Service felt a bit short-skimpy as well. Foods were good, but mine especially (Crab Benedict) felt a bit lacking. Let's just say that I've had Crab Benedicts as just as good for half the price...and with better sides. Maybe lunch or dinner experience is better here? In any case, am glad we checked out the place...but I doubt I'll choose it for breakfast again.
