I usually look at gun stores for reputations and INTEGRITY. As you try to muddy the conversation with the GCA and unnamed state laws that you do not quote. Such as if Arizona had a law against the sale then reply with the Arizona Revised Statute. Arizona and Nevada do not regulate the long gun purchases as long as the 4473 is ran , and the purchaser does it in-person.

This experience was very disappointing due to the lack of transparency about the pricing. Clear and honest estimates should be provided before sending a technician so customers can make an informed decision. For your information, I did called GE before calling these tech, the extended warranty is $350 to cover everything. My GE washer is front load purchased by 2022.

Went to the 1911 guys to install stainless steel parts on a brand new Beretta 92 INOX for a clean look on a beautiful, collectible pistol. Charged 100/hour and returned the pistol with scratches on the steel frame. I'll give them credit for not charging me for the botched work, but I will be left with a bill for hundreds to have the frame refinished by the manufacturer - 1911 guys unwilling to correct the scratched frame - too expensive for them. Owner asked if I indicated to the gunsmith that I wanted the frame without damage when I turned in the pistol for their work. Do you tell the automobile dealership not to scratch your fender when they replace your car's tires? I'm glad others had a good experience with this gunsmith but I would give them a pass and I really wish I had used a different shop. read more

Terry, Mike, and team are, hands down, the best pistol smiths I've had the pleasure to work with. Very meticulous in their craft and do not take shortcuts. It shows in the quality of their work. Even still, work is completed in a very reasonable time and communication is great throughout the process. The last job they completed for me was a full custom match grade .45 ACP slide assembly, hand fit to an existing Les Baer 1911 frame for a pistol originally chambered in .38 Super. The work was done in such a way that did not alter the frame, thereby preserving resale value of the original Les Baer pistol. I like the way their custom 45 upper looks on the Les Baer frame even better than the original. Accuracy is phenomenal. Highly recommend to schedule a visit with them, especially if you fancy 1911's. read more
