Dan was wonderful to work with. I changed my mind quite a few times and he was so flexible to work with. I always wanted the vintage T-bird to pick us up. I was worried because it was a weird pick-up spot, but the car was waiting there. I wish the car would have been in front of the bus for more people to have seen, but I didn't think to specify this so I can't be upset. Just a note you may want to specify. The bus was where it needed to be when it needed to be there and it was comfortable and clean. I chose this company because of all the great reviews on YELP and was deeply disappointed in their service. This is a service industry geared toward special events so you would think customer service and punctuality would be important. I called to confirm all the details the day before my confirmed reservation and pick up. Emsi advised that everything is all set and not to worry. My pick was confirmed for 11:15 AM going to the Cubs game for a group of 10. At 11:30AM the limo van had not arrived and no call or text to advise the driver was running late. I called 312 and the dispatcher had no idea where the driver was or why he wasn't there. Dispatcher advised he would call me right back....another 15 minutes go by and NO call back. I call again and ask what is going on & we are now 30 minutes late....the dispatcher advises the driver is not responding and is sending ANOTHER driver that is 30 minutes away!!! An hour later than my original pick up time and we will not only be late for the game but miss the special Rizzo ceremony on Saturday before the game. The dispatcher then tells me well, it's out of his control and all he can do is get another driver there and texts me the "NEW" drivers number. When I contact the "NEW" driver and ask him when he will arrive he tells me yeah, they must have given me the wrong pick up time???? So infuriating when you pay hundreds of dollars, make and confirm reservation details and hear, well it's out of my control!!! Everything was great! We worked with Dan to rent a limo bus for our wedding (18 person vehicle) and it could not have been more seamless. Dan was very responsive via email leading up to the event, answering questions within a few hours of asking. I contacted Dan and a couple of other companies for a quote to my wife's birthday last week. We wanted a trolley and Dan was the most professional of all we called. He answered on the first call and gave me a quote right away. He also answered all my questions. We went with him because of his customer service at first. We did our trolley ride this past Friday. We used them for our wedding in April 2024, the first issue is they messed up the location and didn't pick up the groom/groomsmen, causing them to take an uber to the ceremony location. The driver also didn't show up to multiple hotel locations which forced guests to have to take ubers to the ceremony when we had assured them there would be a shuttle provided. At the end of the evening the driver also told guests he wouldn't take them to the 1 of 3 hotels within our contract, one being the hotel the groom and bride were staying at that night. This again forced people to pay for their own transpiration when we told guests it would be provided and had paid for the shuttle to be provided to and from our ceremony/reception. Be careful when using because they require payment upfront and the driver won't guarantee driving the guest anywhere. read more

We booked 312 Limo for 2 large (50 - 56 passenger) buses and a trolley for our September wedding. We picked them because of their great reviews online, which ended up being such a far cry from our experience on many levels. First, for the more minor issues: the "modern" trolley we booked for pictures and to ride to the venue was far from it - the air did not work on the front half of the trolley, which was a problem given the 80 degree weather, and made many on the bus light-headed. There were colored flickering lights which we asked to be shut off, but the bus driver said he could not control. They said the bus came with champagne - it did not. The more major issue: the bus ride back from the reception at Rockwell on the River to the Loop was nothing short of a disaster. I will preface it by saying that we are from Chicago and live in the city - we understand that Mexican Independence Day causes unpredictable traffic and road closures and have experienced it firsthand. However, there was a path from our venue by taking an early highway exit and side streets back - this was all well laid out real-time on Google maps. The driver instead chose to go all the way around the city and try and take Lakeshore Drive, which had been disclosed would be closed. When he realized he could not get through, he pulled over on the side of the highway and asked us if we would like to get off there and take Ubers. We were miles from the hotel and never would have gotten Ubers for those on the bus. My husband, my father, and my father-in-law then had to try and remedy the situation and directed the bus driver back to Noble Square area where we got off the highway and then were able to take Wacker to the hotel. It took us 2 hours to get home from the venue (from midnight to 2AM). With the detours / road closures and traffic at that hour, it should have been no more than 45 minutes. I understand that drivers are under stress in those situations, but he made no attempt to problem solve, had no one to call at the Company, and clearly gave up. Once we learned that he was booked to drive at 6AM the next day, his impatience started to make more sense, but I am not sure how that is legal. More importantly, the business should have equipped drivers with instructions of a few routes to take given that it was known that Mexican Independence celebrations would impact the weekend (we were checking our phones, and Google maps was was up-to-date on the closures). We completely missed our ability to have an afterparty in a suite we paid a great deal for for that very reason. I have been to many weddings and had transportation hiccups and delays but never experienced something like that in my life. It is important to note that when booking, the owner initially was responsive and easy to work with. Once I sent him an email detailing our experience a week after the wedding - it was a different story. It took me following up 3 times via email before I got to their view of a resolution, which was not really one at all. We spent nearly $6K on all of the wedding transportation with 312 - they offered us $200 off for the issues we had on the trolley alone and did not acknowledge that the bus ride back was a problem. Their direct response was "only 10 people were impacted", which was below the actual count on our bus, and doesn't address the fact that it was the bride, groom and our families, the ones who paid for the buses and cared the most about the wedding, that were impacted. I would also say their buses are older relative to what I have seen with other bus companies. Would never use 312 again. read more

They let you know in advance who your driver is and both reached out by text to make sure we were all on the same page (or bus in this instance!). We used 312 limo for our Trolley service for our wedding. The owner Dan was very flexible with rescheduling when we had to move our date due to covid restrictions, and we had an easy booking experience. The trolley itself was also clean, and we loved the modern interior with the leather seats. Unfortunately, our driver really put a damper on the experience. The groom and groomsman got on to head to our religious ceremony (this is around 9:45/10 AM) and the driver spent 10-12 minutes going over the rules and trying to make it a party bus. He told the groomsman that he wouldn't drive until there was party music playing, and ultimately, his insistence on making an intro and trying to make it a party bus caused our whole morning schedule then to be behind. I (the bride) called him 5 minutes after our scheduled pick-up time when he told us that he hadn't left the church yet to come pick us up. We ended up scrambling to order Uber's to our church then, and thankfully made it to our ceremony on time, but to no help of the Trolley. After the wedding, the party bus vibe was fun and appreciated, but at one of our photo stops, the driver (1) continued to overshare inappropriate details (2) proceeded to leave to go get ice cream at a nearby store where our groomsman watched him yell at the employees for asking him to wear a mask (while it's mandated in Chicago). Overall, the driver was very unprofessional and made it an uncomfortable experience. What made it even worse, was I called the owner to politely share our experience and let him know our what happened with our driver, and he insisted it was our fault for being late, our schedule was unrealistic, and that this was one of his top drivers. I would've expected that if our schedule was unrealistic, that as a professional service they would have helped recommend or modify it with us so that we could've had better time expectations. So, just know that as a customer, you may have a hit or miss experience depending on the driver, but if it's bad, they don't really care. I was disappointed with how our experience with 312 limo ended up and I would not recommend them to a friend. read more

I should have written this review a while ago. It was an excellent transfer despite crazy traffic coming from Terminal 5 after being away on vacation for 3 weeks. We were headed to Bronzeville and were surprised by the new road work on 90 headed east. Our driver was super professional, rolled with the change and made sure we returned home with out a problem. I accidently left my bag and before we knew it she called and had already double-backed for re-delivery. Reliable. Professional. Unlike a previous service we used on the outbound, we didn't have to give directions nor was the driver unaware of our destination. We will certainly use them again and added them to the speed dial. Future brides beware! I hired 312 Limo for my July 2024 wedding. Things looked promising at the beginning. They were quick to respond and had my date and time available. I had to book 8 hours of service (they don't offer one-way pricing) for hotel pick-up and drop off at the wedding venue + taking guests back to the hotels at the end of the evening. The driver picked up my guests from the hotels and dropped them off at the venue on time but left and never came back! I paid for 8 hours of shuttle service and received 1 plus my guests had no transportation at the end of the night so we were scrambling to find Ubers.
