Beef in the dish I got was very tasteless. It was like it was boiled. Majority noodles and very little beef. The noodles were tasteless too. It was supposed to be a spicy dish according to the menu, and all they did was give a small plastic container of crushed red pepper flakes like you get in most American restaurants. No spicy Thai sauce or any sauce of any kind. Bland and tasteless is the only way to describe it. Glad I had some soy sauce at home or I wouldn't have eaten it. Always love the pho. Staff can be slightly frustrating sometimes. Its mostly a bunch of immature kids who don't know what they are doing, so I don't mind that much. Had to ask for the spice cart. Boba is really good. You can mix and match teas and jellies/boba/poppers. Takes a while for boba to come out, but pho comes out pretty quickly. High quality, fresh ingredients. Egg rolls were pretty good, but not the best. Sticky rice was delicious though. read more

8.6. Pho has a great location, and the building was once a different Thai restaurant. This new restaurant I believe is better. The food was wonderful, and tasted fresh with levels of heat. Plenty of food for the price as well. Will be returning and have recommended to folks I know whom have never had pho and other Thai/Vietnamese style food. read more

I got too excited to order in this store after knowing they already have the Brown sugar milk tea so I went and put my order together with a Pork belly and sticky rice and was very disappointed on my order. The pork belly is a joke! The picture on the advertisement is waaaay too far from what they gonna served you. Its like a strip of refried pork and nothing you can eat at all! Not fresh and seems to be cooked days ago and just refried it again if you will place an order and the sticky rice together with it is just alright. And the milk tea is just like a home made nothing special. Hope they will step up more on their service! Don't go lazy in your cooking. read more

I've ordered food multiple times from 86 Pho and it's always been delicious, hot, and made with fresh great ingredients.

So pretty much the strangest experience I've ever had. I actually used to work at a pho restaurant when I lived in San Diego and was excited to eat some familiar dishes. Egg rolls where okay, salad was over dress and way too sour, the strangest part was when our entree that my husband and I wanted to share came out was cold. And I don't mean room temp, it was COLD. My first bite I wanted to spit out because it almost felt like it came out of the refrigerator. Every place I have served has heat lamps for the food at the very least. So it doesn't explain why the food was THAT cold. My husband thought there must have been some odd mistake. Anyways, I feel so uncomfortable saying anything but there was no way we were going to eat it like that. My husband ask the server over. He explains that it's really cold, like COLD cold. After a little back and fourth the server proceeded to stick his entire hand into our plate of food! Fingers and all, front and back... Then tell us "it's warm, NOT cold" my jaw dropped. I was even further grossed out now and said "can we please have our check". Absolutely wasn't going to put anything in my mouth he brought to us. He walked away, came back and told us he "took everything off and that he hopes we find warm food some where else". (Like that's some difficult task) I felt like I was in the twilight zone. Honestly to god when he jammed his hand in our plate of food I lost my appetite, and that was our first time eating all day and it was 3:30 in the afternoon. The food is pretty good but this place has some really strange policies and behaviors. I just went to pick up a to go order and they made me show them all of this documentation from my email and stuff before I picked up my order. That's just strange, how would I know there was an order with my name to pick up? Who steals to go food? Also we went here one Sunday with a party of 12 and they told us they don't take large parties. But no one was in the restaurant!! I went here yesterday and I'm trying my hardest to resist the urge to return for lunch today. WOW. I live in Greenville but work in Inman. It's hard to find a good lunch spot even when limiting myself to lunch once a week! The place is not right next to Walmart as a previous description pointed out. It's behind and inside the parking lot for a shell gas station next to the shopping center parking lot where Walmart is, you'll have to pass up Walmart because the two lots do not connect. ON TO THE FOOD: it's amazing, bottom line. We returned two days later. Check this place out, get pho add spice and enjoy a bubble tea. read more

Okay I'm being generous with 3 stars - mostly because I've only been here once so maybe something weird was going on. We ordered delivery via GrubHub, but we checked the actual restaurant website menu to pick all of our entrees. We ordered the beef Pad Se Ew - a favorite of ours at every thai/fusion restaurant, spring rolls, the honey chicken, the cheeseburger (which we were VERY excited about), and the coconut thai tea. I'll start with the good - the Pad Se Ew was delicious. A lot of flavor, the beef tasted good, lots of good, well seasoned veggies. Delicious. The burger didn't show up, so I called the restaurant- they told me they've begged GrubHub to take it off the menu but they won't. I told them that it's still on their website menu, they pretty much just said okay, didn't offer any explanation there. No biggie, it happens. Okay so onto the Honey Chicken. I'm still laughing while I type this. One bite of the Honey Chicken and every southern person will know 100%, without a shadow of a doubt, this chicken is Chic-fil-a chicken nuggets tossed in sauce. I've had thousands of Chick-fil-a nuggets in my lifetime and I can tell you that NOTHING has ever tasted as much like a Chick-fil-a nugget as this "honey chicken," nothing. Our whole household agreed - this is from Chick-fil-a. I hope all the future patrons will get this meal just to laugh at this as much as we did. The spring rolls. Guys - I'm being so serious when I tell you they're serving frozen Taquitos as spring rolls. They have shredded chicken inside, no cabbage and nothing else. Just chicken. You close your eyes and you know - this is a sauceless Taquito. It doesn't even taste remotely asian. The sweet chili sauce doesn't even make it taste like a spring roll. If it looks like a Taquito, smells like a Taquito, and tastes like a Taquito, pretty sure it's a Taquito. Now the coconut thai bubble tea could've just been a mix-up, but there was zero thai tea, just some frozen coconut milk. Disappointing, but not a huge deal. I hope to hear from some other patrons to confirm my suspicions because we won't be visiting again. But it did give us a HUGE laugh, and anyways who doesn't like Chic-fil-a and Taquitos for dinner?? read more

We went here on a whim looking for a healthy lunch. We were blown away by the amazing flavors! Hubs got the seafood pho with beef broth and I got the veggie pho with vegetable stock. There were so many veggies in my soup that I had enough veggies to bring home for another meal. We ordered an extra container of the broth for $2 and now I have dinner. This is the spot to go in Boiling Springs! Just had dinner there. Chelsea, our server, was phenomenal. She kept our water full, handled us asking for extra things for the baby, and was very sweet. This is the worst southeast asian food I've ever had. I ordered the lap sausage, papaya salad, pork belly and sticky rice. I'm southeast asian and not very picky about my asian food. First of all, the sausage and pork belly seemed old and not fresh. Usually, it is cooked then cut and served. What i got was cut and really dry on the inside like it has been sitting under a heat lamp or recooked. The lao sausage was one of those cheap mystery meat sausages you get at the asian store that's over sweet. It was not an authentic lao sausage. The papaya salad was very bland and low on flavor. At least they didn't mess up the sticky rice. A little ghetto how it comes wrapped in tin foil. I feel embarrassed for the owners. read more

The service here was terrible. We saw a man and woman and their kids sitting at the table, and the woman and kids went and waited out in the car while the man was still waiting for their appetizer that hadnt shown up after he had paid already and then he had to send it back to the kitchen to get it in a to-go box. We wanted appetizers at our table and we saw that and thought it was a fluke... should've known better. The same exact thing happened to us. We got our appetizer after we had already finished our meals, our waitress never came by our table to refill drinks or see how the food was, (I probably would've told her to cancel the appetizer), and my friend and I's pho came out without any meatballs. They were also out of a few things like the thai tea and the thai coffee (and apparently the meatballs that only made it into one of the three bowls of pho we had). If it wasn't for everything else that happened while we were sitting there, the pho itself tasted pretty good, but I would probably never come back just because of how bad the service was and how slow it took for the pho to even come out. read more
