This historic building was a great stop on our way from Denver to Breckenridge. We had no real idea of what to expect it came in after reading other reviews. We started with jalapeño poppers which were crisp and flavorful. It came with a side of ranch dressing that was standard flavor. My pizza came out piping hot. I really enjoyed the cheese and spice of the jalapeño peppers. The black olives were plentiful but oddly placed. Some slices were covered. Overall I loved it. The crust had a nice chew and texture. There happened to be live music playing when we came in. The guy played a few Grateful Dead songs I liked. Oddly they were out of several dishes, one of which I was going to order. This also included no salads. If I ever happened to be back in the area I would eat here again. Our server was really friendly.

This is the worst place ever!!! Please don't eat here. They charge $3.5 per cup of soft drinks, and $2 for this little cup of sauce. And 12 piece of wings for $21. The customer service is a joke. They are running out of everything and they did not tell me until they brought the food to us. And we were sitting down for 30 plus mins before the food showed up! I have three little kids and they are hungry. Never again! Worst experience ever. So disappointed!! Please save yourself from this place!

Italiano Pizza with added basil

Based on all the good reviews we definitely hope this was a one off experience. We came here to kill some time during traffic back to Denver and the experience was just okay. We got wings and a small Italiano pizza. The wings were cold at the bone which was concerning so we barely ate them. The pizza was fine but not great, ingredients were not the best and was like a sloppy mess. The wait staff pretty much stopped by once to take our order and then completely disappeared to the point where there was no one on the floor for like 10 min straight. Our favorite part was the location, the building was cool. Also it seems family owned and operated which is always nice to see.

The Alpine continues to live up to its good food and good atmosphere. I came on a night with live music. The musician is one of my dear friends. She was excellent. Service has significantly improved since my last review. I am happy with how The Alpine continues to serve its customers with love and dignity. Come on Fridays to see Amy Rose perform classic hits for you.

Cozy spot with great comfort food in Georgetown! After a day skiing at Loveland, my husband and I headed into Georgetown where we of course stopped by Guanella Pass Brewing (always happy to shout them out!) before grabbing dinner at The Alpine Restaurant & Bar. Service was unfortunately slow due to minimal people working, but we were eventually served and so happy with our meal! We ordered the spinach artichoke dip and a calzone with artichokes, roasted tomatoes, feta, and sausage. We also had some wine to go along with our meal. 10/10 recommend it all. The pizza also looked amazing so I would love to come back to try it next time we're in the area!

We've stopped into the Alpine Restaurant a few times and always enjoyed their home town hospitality. This time was no different. The Alpine can make a mad pizza. Several mad pizzas - and when I say mad pizza, I mean delicious. We shared their South of the Border and their Narrow Gauge. Both fabulous. Fresh ingredients, flavorful crust, generous toppings. Perfect. They've also got a decent selection of beers and boast a full bar. Anytime you're in Georgetown, def stop in. And, very cool train sets hanging from above.

Didn't explore much on the inside, as with loud live music (totally subjective), we opted to eat outside. But kinda alpine-looking decor looked ok. As many noted before, there are little helpers there, three boys. I have mixed feelings on that. On one hand, it's super cute until you realize it seems it's more of a job than help. I don't know enough to comment further, I've been in the place once. Child labor is banned for a reason, so I really, really hope this is purely occasional play. Now to food. Don't come in expecting the best meal in your life, but it's very solid, homemade food. It's like visiting your family, the meal might not be at the restaurant level, but you end up very happy ;) We tried spaghetti meatballs with a side of Caesar's and gluten free pizza. We were very satisfied with both. The pizza is the standard GF one that's not the greatest but, again, solid - thin, kinda crispy, which I expected (not sure, but I suspect many places buy the same brand). Overall, we were very happy and might come back if we are in the area.

So average. Food was nothing special. Server was good but the person who sat us had an attitude. I wouldn't go back.

We weren't even that hungry, but I found this place on Yelp and thought we'd give it a try! The weather was perfect, so we sat outside, which was really nice. We got seated right away, ordered quickly, and our food came out fast. I got the California Benedict and my fiancé ordered the Mountain Breakfast. I order Benedicts ALL the time, and this one was seriously so good. The hollandaise sauce was absolutely delicious. One of those meals where you take a bite and immediately know you made the right choice. We ended up cleaning our plates way quicker than we expected. Definitely glad we stopped here. Good food, friendly service, and a great patio. We'd happily come back next time we're in the area.

They were a bit overwhelmed when we asked for a table and took down our number to let us know when one was ready but never got a call. We ended up just walking back to check in with them and they seated us right away so the seating process was a bit wonky. The food itself was pretty solid and the bloody mary I got was ok not great. But certainly a cute, warm, family friendly atmosphere for lunch! All in all I do recommend it - just didn't get the full five stars due to the seating situation but otherwise the place is worth checking out!

And, bonus you do too. First, The Vintage Moose makes the most of their small space - they even have a back room with a few games, open windows and beyond that, a small patio. Super chill. We laughed reading all the cool signs and stickers from all around. Lots to enjoy as you partake in an adult bevvie. Just one guy running the bar and he was amazing. If you're looking for a place where the locals hang out and everyone knows everyone, this is it. We had a great time, even though we were new. We def will be back. It has that classic local bar feel - relaxed, welcoming, and full of personality. Most of the crowd seemed to be locals, aside from us and a couple of other tables grabbing a later dinner. That's usually a good sign. The drink selection had plenty of options, and the atmosphere made it easy to settle in and stay awhile. We kept it simple with a few neat pours of whiskey and enjoyed soaking in the vibe. We didn't try the food this visit, but after seeing what was coming out of the kitchen, we'll definitely be back to do that next time. If you're looking for a laid-back local spot in Idaho Springs, The Vintage Moose is worth a stop.

They do everything in there, cooking bar foods, a bunch of TVs, and clearly happen to be a major baseball bar! So, they got the game on for us ASAP! And we got to watch our team come from behind and win the game! Yahooooooo! The guys behind the bar were so much fun!
