Amazing bagel! Just like NJ. Amazing pork roll with egg cheese. The bagel is soft but crispy on the outside

    Extra Cheese Pizza

The pizza was legit, especially with the extra cheese. Great Neck is finally getting some better pizza spots.

The Bagel Baker may always look busy. This is because they are so good. Fresh bagels I usually go for lunch. The sandwiches are amazing. I get a different sandwich every time I go and have never been disappointed lately. I always asked to cut mine in half. My husband will get a different sandwich and get his cut in half . Then we can try 2 different sandwiches. We got the Manhattan and the Chelsea. Both very different but both EXCELLENT!!!! They both have bacon on them, and the bacon was perfect. Both very flavorful and fresh.. staff very nice and fast too for a fresh sandwich made to order

Great service, as soon as I walked in I was greeted by everyone, and placed my order for a toasted plain bagel with extra cream cheese quickly. The menu was big, and I got anxious being the only person and ordered what I knew. It makes for a good base of how good everything else would be though. My food came out soon after, and I left to go enjoy my food at home (15 minutes). It felt warm when I got it, but by the time I sat down to eat it was cold. It wasn't like it had been too long from when I got it to then, so I don't know what happened. The bagel itself is dense and chewy, kinda like what I had suspected from the photos. It's like Panera you could say, which was a little sad for me. I like my bagels more airy and not as chewy. The flavor of the bagel was nice, I just was hoping for something amazing I guess. The cream cheese is also good quality, probably could've done with more of it. (I'm in love with cream cheese) Overall, just a cute average lil bagel shop.

Hard to find a NY-style bagels in the area! But this place might be a winner. Plenty of indoor sitting and even two kiosks aside from the regular counter. Stopped by earlier this morning after the rush & picked up a BB on Broadway (bacon, egg, cheese, and hash brown) as well as a blueberry yogurt muffin. While a little pricey, the bagel was chewy and fresh. And gosh, the muffin was incredibly yummy! I'll have to give the other breakfast sandwiches a try.

A mad search for New York Style Bagel Bakeries before my son & grandson arrived led me back to this location where my family came in the late '80s. When I walked in it looked completely different. That's because it was. I'm not sure what happened to the old store since it had been decades since I had frequented the bagel shop. This bakery was exactly what I was looking for. They boil then bake their bagels preservative free. It brought back memories of a Bagel Bakery in Atlanta I frequented in the early '70s that actually had the boiling vat in view. The Bakery was decorated really awesome on the outside & inside with sidewalk seating available in addition to the dining area. A separate door was provided for takeout or online orders. I joined the rope line to place my order so I could peruse the menu on the wall. The line featured a long picturesque scene of New York. The inside dining area walls were also New York cityscape scenes. How awesome!! The restaurant was clean & very popular. Takeout orders were placed in bags awaiting pickup. There were many. Breakfast sandwich choices looked spectacular & were all New York themed. But my quest was for the type of single bagels that my family eat for breakfast. My purchase was Sesame Seed & Cinnamon Raisin. I wanted to peruse the cream cheese choices. But there was a line behind me & I was operating on short time. Reading the background of the owners I learned they were a couple from New Jersey who founded the bakery in 2012. They have a food truck & also have plans to open a delicatessen in the space previously occupied by 58 Deli Diner. My son & grandson said their Sesame & Cinnamon Raisin Bagels were good. And my son perused their Breakfast & Brunch Bagel Sandwich Menu. The location is in the shopping center on the southeast side of the intersection of Mill Dam Road with N Great Neck Road. Coming from Shore Drive driving south there's easy entrance by a left turn on Mill Dam & and immediate right into the shopping center. I will definitely return, maybe even breaking my diet & choosing a Breakfast Bagel Sandwich.

The Bagel Baker is the first place I visit when I come home from college. I've tried many Bagel shops in my college town, and nothing ever comes close to Bagel Baker's bagels and coffee! The owner is so sweet. I also bought a 1/2 dozen to bring back to college with me.

I was so excited to try after seeing so many good reviews but it wasn't really anything special or maybe i'm not the target audience. Definitely don't recommend the sausage if you pick a bagel sandwich! The iced coffee was okay too. I think the bagels with just cream cheese would've been fine too. There was just something about both sandwiches that had an aftertaste. Aside from that, the staff is very friendly! They made it very smooth and convenient.

As for the Fire Island, it's perfect for you if you like a kick. The chicken was moist and flavorful. Everything worked well on the sandwich, it can just be a much for breakfast sometimes. Though, you are allowed to make you needed modifications. Maybe a different bagel would lighten things a bit. Overall, this is a much try for Chesapeake. I ordered the Williamsburg Bagel, which consisted of lox, plain cream cheese, tomato, capers, and red onion. I originally wanted it on an Everything bagel, but since they were out, I went with a Garlic bagel instead. Even though it was a tad bit crowded, my sandwich was ready in about 5 mins. I've had the Williamsburg Bagel before so I was excited to enjoy it again but I wasn't a big fan of the thick-cut red onions they added on there, and I actually love onions! Unfortunately, I ended up taking most of them off. I also wish it had more cream cheese, the thin layer on the bottom just wasn't enough for me. That said, the bagel itself was fresh and overall, the sandwich tasted good. At almost $20, it did feel a little pricey for a bagel sandwich, but I enjoyed it. I'd definitely come back to try other options. The interior is full of Brooklyn pictures, which I love! Definitely check them out if you're in the area!

My husband and a friend came here on a Thursday morning to order 6 items and they were gone for almost an hour (it was a 10 minute drive from where we stayed). They come back with a bag of "bagels" (if that's what you want to call them) drenched in ketchup. Our orders were extremely simple: BEC w/PK on a plain bagel Egg and cheese on a croissant BEC w/PK on an asiago bagel Taylored Ham, egg & cheese on a bagel Toasted everything bagel with lox & cream cheese Here is everything that went wrong: 1. The bagel store didn't offer BACON, so we ended up substituting for sausage. The sausage patty was probably the size of my kid's palm- that's how small it was. The eggs were overcooked and had no taste, but don't worry, they'll make sure to smother the entire bagel with ketchup to make up for it. 2. TOASTED bagel with lox & cream cheese- bagel was not toasted, and there wasn't any lox available. 3. Egg & cheese on a croissant- the place didn't have any croissants... so had to substitute this for a roll 4. It was the chef's second day in the kitchen. Bagels alone wasn't great quality..it was edible enough, but extremely chewy and stiff, especially after taking so long to prepare the orders and with two people working in a place that is seemingly popular with the Yelp Community, the amount of time it took this order to be ready was a little ridiculous. I ordered the same thing back home the following day and it took less time to make here in NJ than it did here on a non-busy day with just my husband and friend as their sole customer at the time.

It's the perfect combination of sweet, tangy, and open gooey deliciousness! Today, Baker's Crust catered breakfast at my office, and I was excited to see a table overflowing with bagels and cream cheeses. It was like Christmas morning for carb lovers! Unfortunately, none of the bagels or cream cheeses were labeled. My excitement quickly turned into confusion when I took a big bite of what I was sure was my beloved strawberry cream cheese... only to discover it was definitely not strawberry. And let's just say an onion bagel paired with the wrong cream cheese is a combination I wouldn't recommend. The food itself was great, but a little labeling would go a long way. A simple sticker or note on the bottom of each cream cheese container and small tent cards identifying the bagel flavors would save future customers from accidental flavor roulette. Still a fan, but next time I'd like to know whether I'm biting into strawberry bliss or an unexpected onion surprise! For a side note it's so easy to order online for a quick stop on the way to work. I'd seen their bagels on Instagram and they looked really good, so I decided to give them a try. I ordered the Fordy on a multigrain bagel, which comes with turkey, cheese, and bacon. Unfortunately, I accidentally selected "no bacon" when ordering, so that was disappointing. I also requested it toasted, but when I received it, the sandwich itself was still cold. It seems like they only toast the bagel before assembling the sandwich, rather than warming the entire sandwich. Even aside from that, it was just a very basic bagel sandwich. It tasted like turkey, cheese, mayonnaise, and a bagel--nothing particularly memorable or different. The ingredients were fine, but there wasn't anything that made it stand out. My biggest issue was the price. For what I received, it felt very expensive. It wasn't bad, but it definitely didn't live up to the expectations I had from seeing it online. If you're looking for a simple bagel sandwich, it gets the job done, but I expected more flavor and value for the cost.
