What a cute coffee shop/ bakery this is. I had never been here until last week or two weeks ago as I was in the neighborhood. They have a picnic bench outside to enjoy their pastries and coffee in the nice weather. Inside is smallish they have some indoor seating along a bar like table. On one side they have merch you can buy from cookbooks, to mugs and other treats. The guy who made my coffee was very nice and told me I probably should not have a pastry as I have a nut allergy and all are made on shared equipment. I had asked him if it was ok if I had a specific thing due ti my nut allergy. The coffee here was tasty I got an iced latte. One of the better ones I have had in this city. If I am ever in the area again I will be stopping by.

    Bacon "Bao" - Okay

Overpriced baked goods and coffee served only with disposable plates and cups to empty your wallet and clog landfills. Seating inside for six people. By the numbers: Food 3/5 Service 4/5 Ambiance 3/5 Value 2/5 Breakfast burrito - Very good. Filling. Prob the best value on the menu but still $14. Chorizo chicken breakfast "bao" - Good. Unconventional green chile chorizo. The air quotes on the menu should be observed. Dough is more like a pierogi than a bao bun. Bacon breakfast "bao" - Okay. More shredded BBQ pork than bacon. Wasn't expecting sweet. Was also cold. Both baos are served from a heated drawer in an airline meal foil bag.

    Molasses chocolate chip cookie

What a cute place. And I love them. It's so close to where I live. I had the spinach and goat cheese and it was phenomenal. I know people complain about the prices. Mine was only seven dollars and it was well worth it. I also got The chocolate chip cookie. Oh my God. That was fabulous. I love the taste of the molasses combined in with the chocolate. I'm a huge chocolate fan and I think it had plenty of chocolate. I definitely want one more of those. Love the sea has been salt as well.

Cheez-it fans rejoice, there's a comically large version of the snack available in Midtown! I do believe this location is attached to the Greywind restaurant so if you see the Greywind, you're in the right place. Everything looks scrumptious and the cashier could not be friendlier as I purchased a giant Cheez-it and chocolate chip cookie to go. The Cheez-it is cheesy, delicate, salty and crunchy. Nothing revolutionary but a faithful recreation of the classic snack. The cookie: a bit crisp and a lot chewy. Has a molasses taste with a hint of salt, truly complex. Overall, well worth the visit. If not for the cookie, at least for the cheese!

Okay, so the most famous pastry at the Bakery at Greywind is the giant Cheeze-it. Listen, it's delicious... but it is NOT worth the hype. It's also crazy expensive since you can't just buy one Cheeze-it. However, obviously, it's a beautiful bakery and the staff know's it's overpriced, they even tried to give me a discount since I only wanted one Cheeze-it. For me, the redeeming pastry is the sesame cookie! Holy crap, that thing is so good! I also want to try the breafast bao buns they next time I'm near Hudson Yards and the Vessel. It's fun to grab a treat and go watch the summer outdoor movie series, or in my case, the US Women's bronze medal rudgy match from the Olympics.

During my most recent visit to NYC, I had the pleasure of visiting this spot twice. The Bakery at Greywind is in the Hudson Yards neighborhood and has a beautiful interior. On my first visit, I had the spinach breakfast sandwich and cold brew. The breakfast sandwich is out of this world. The egg mixture is so fluffy. There is also tons of spinach mixed with the egg. The addition of green chili is the perfect addition to the sandwich as well. I also loved the cold brew and bao. The Bakery at Greywind is perfect if you need a quick, delicious, and high quality bite while in the area.

lovedddd my experience here! solid ice vanilla latte, thank you!! chocolate pudding croissant is insanely rich! they pumped it with a lot of pudding so unless you got a sweet tooth, i recommend sharing! they also have a lot of other unique bakery items that you don't typically see at coffee shops. would be back to try! bonus- they got great gift ideas on the side that they sell customer service was great, thank you!

    Chocolate almond croissant

I was excited to try this bakery, which is conveniently located near the subway. I got the chocolate almond croissant which was ok, but nothing worth going back for (or paying $8+ for). I thought it was a little dry and no where near as addicting as the croissants from the bakery near me (Michaeli's).

    Bao
    Jennie C.

Pretty impressed. The breakfast bao was my fav. The breakfast sandwich was also really good and was more like a breakfast burrito but in sandwich form, the salsa in it is delish. The yuzu strawberry tart was the perfect balance of tart and sweet. The croissant was comparable to a proper French croissant but it was fluffy on the inside and had a crunch on the outside. I actually really enjoyed the goat cheese thing, I forget what else was it in but I love goat cheese and it was so yummy. Only thing I didn't enjoy was the linzer but I'm not super into very tart/sour things but if you are you will enjoy it.

The orange has a base made of chocolate Rice Krispies. All of them have more fruity filling than the mousse. They are very fragile. I recommend eating there if you can. Finding can be a challenge because it's busy and there aren't many seats. I got mine to go just to be taken to the park across the street . The mushroom kind are totally ruined. It has strawberriy jelly and it was a mess. The orange one was almost ruined too. The mango has some diced mangoes. I devoured three of them instantly. Definitely come back to try more.

There was no place to sit down because of how busy it was but the staff kept the line moving quick enough. The place still seemed reasonably stocked with their desserts and treats, despite the late afternoon time that I arrived. I ordered 4 different treats to go and they're packed in small box individually. Unfortunately, they didn't quite stay intact during my trek back to my hotel and were tumbled around in the boxes. Nonetheless, the taste and flavors held up well and even after a few days in the fridge. The yuzu daisy has this vivid pastel yellow-pink base and adorable gelatinous yellow gem atop a white flower. The yuzu gives a subtle infusion of tart that is balanced out by the light delicate skin texture of the rest. Sitting atop a thin round rice crispy. I loved the red mushroom one which is a creamy pink mousse inside the cap. The stalk is a thin porcelain-white chocolate light base also filled with a rich cream. Adjacent are two cute little tree nuts. The orange and mango have such vivid colors and are aesthetically pleasing too. Just like the previous ones, their delicate chocolate exterior houses a rich tarty mousse-y filling. I think the mushroom has a better balance and variety of flavors. Although I don't eat mousse treats often, I look forward to trying some of the other ones in the future, like the blueberry, banana and cloud.

This used to be my favorite Italian bakery. I haven't been to this bakery in years like ten years…read moresince I was a teenager. Today I decided to make a special trip to go here to grab a few goodies. I forgot how small the place was and how low the ceilings were. That wasn't an issue though. The place was nice and cakes were stacked neatly. What was surprising to me is that they don't have any cookies laid in the front display. It's all placed in the back almost hidden. I was deeply disappointed with their cookie selection. It was deeply surprising that they don't sell the butter cookies that had jam in the middle and dipped with chocolate on one side with sprinkles. I did ask the clerk and even showed him a pic of what I was looking for and he said they never sold them. They only had the linzer cookies and they didn't look so good. They also did not have the lobster tail. They did have the sfogliatelle which they also called a lobster tail. I thought they were not the same? Some bakeries sell both and they are definitely not the same. I did end up buying one of their sfogliatelle with cream and some rugelachs. The sfogliatelle was good but the rugelachs tasted slightly underbaked. It did taste fresh though unlike many I've had in other bakeries. However, for $28 per pound, I wouldn't get it again. For those not having lobster tail and not having the Italian cookies, I will have to give Veniero's a low rating. I never thought an Italian bakery would not carry staples. Very disappointed. I need to find another Italian bakery now.
