Stopped here for a nightcap. Tried the creamy expresso Martini. Josh the bartender made our drinks. The flavor was really good. You can order food from Spuntino Pizza which is attached to this bar. We tried the calamari - unfortunately it lacked flavor and I wished that it was more golden brown. The portion was pretty small for the price. But one person in our party enjoyed it! There is a good amount of seating at the long bar, as well as multiple high top tables for two. We didn't try any food but it looked good (based on what others ordered.) Friendly bartenders too. Bartender Tay was very pleasant. There is also a patio in front if you would like to chill. She introduced herself and made sure we were good & even stopped to chat with us a bit. Friendly vibes. I would recommend.

Always a great experience! Our favorite place to go! Kudos to Dan, Mike, Brooke...and the list goes on. Everyone treats us like family! Love the vibe!

Favorite spot to stop in for a casual drink or dinner. We came here on the recommendation of Cole from Lorenzi winery, and it did not disappoint. We ordered a large sausage & mushroom pizza with artichokes on half, and it was delicious. Crust was soft and wonderful, nothing too heavy. Took some slices home to enjoy tomorrow. They have a great full bar and all the Cocktails and martinis looked amazing. They also have a great wine list, and we got a bottle of their own Sangiovese for $46 which was wonderful. Absolutely recommend, and we will definitely be back! Can't forget our amazing servers, Todd and Nathan - fabulous, and we met the nicest local guy sitting at the bar. Great experience!

Customer service was amazing! Our bartenders Matthew and Wesley did amazing. They were very attentive and made great drinks!! These boys deserve a raise!! Can't wait to come back

Terrible service. The manager couldn't have cared less that our food didn't arrive on time or together. Most of the wait staff ignored us. My dish arrived well after the rest of our group and obliviously was sitting around for a long time. Frankly I believe they all could have cared less that we were there. Do yourself a favor and dine elsewhere. Very disappointed. Do better Bar Nextdoor to Nowhere.

A huge thank you to Sam, who took absolutely amazing care of our group in the Sangiovese Room. From beginning to end, Sam was attentive, welcoming, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of. Managing a party of 18 is no small task, and Sam made everything feel effortless. The Sangiovese Room was the perfect setting for such a special celebration, and Sam truly helped make our son's birthday dinner a memorable one for our entire family and group. If I could give more than 5 stars I most definitely would! Thank you, Sam and Gourmet Italia, for the wonderful hospitality and for helping make our son's 24th birthday so special. We will absolutely be back! The food was absolutely delicious!!!!!

I worked in hospitality and fine dining for decades. Hence my 3 star assessment of Gourmet Italia:…read more 1) A pretentious attitude by your wait staff does not make for good fine dining. Frankly, pretentious attitudes lower the experience for everybody. Even for your waiters. 2) It isn't "fine dining" to conceal the prices from your customers and to then surprise them when the check comes. $100 for a not so special dinner for one? Oh lord. 3) I ordered the "special" Caesar Salad. $20 when the check came. My waiter didn't bother to time arrival of the main course so it arrived before I was even half way finished with the "special" salad. Btw---is Romaine lettuce too expensive now to portion properly on a $20 plate? 4) My waiter offered to take away my salad so he could "make room" for the main course. Take it away? It was only half eaten and this was with just a handful of lettuce on the plate. 5) So he instructed the busser to remove my bread. I liked the salad and the small slices of bread much better than the rather odd Chicken Piccata that came out. 6) My waiter suggested I order the side pasta with the same lemon sauce as the Piccata (although it normally comes with Pomodoro Sauce. In theory great suggestion! In reality --- not so good. The pasta sucked up most of the sauce leaving the Chicken oddly dry. I asked for a bit of the marinara sauce it's normally served with (on the side do I could try it out). No problem! They just tucked an extra charge of $2 into my already inflated bill. The higher the better, after all! Who cares about being fair to a customer? 6) I had asked for a glass of ice water at the start to enjoy with the wine. My waiter arrived with a bottle of Pellegrino. No doubt the better to pad my tab. I pointed out his error in a kind way---he whisked away the now opened Pellegrino bottle and then made it a point to confiscate the glass of water he had already mistakenly poured. What do you suppose his plan was with this? To maybe resell the already opened bottle to another customer? Maybe convince them the amount already poured out into another customer's glass never happened? Dear Waiter, If this IS fine dining (or ANY LEVEL of service you simply apologize for the error and invite the customer to enjoy the water you just poured for them. Then send a bottle of the water they intended over as well.

We started off with a salad (arugula mix with yellow beets). It was ok, but very expensive at 22.00 (I would not get it again if I came back). I ordered the vegetarian pizza and it looked amazing, but taste wise was very bland (even with parm and red pepper flakes). My friend ordered the short rib beef ragu and I had a couple of tastes and it was amazing. We had a soda each and the total bill came to 91 bucks before tip, ouch! We were contemplating dessert; however, I opted for it elsewhere as I did not want to be disappointed by the high prices. Servers were friendly but you could definitely tell that it was forced and not genuine. If in town again I might try this place again but would not make it one of my top spots.

My hubby and I came on a Wednesday which was surprisingly busy. We waited for a few minutes to be sat. Found out they offer a half-off wine bottle of your choice for every 2 entrees ordered. Perfect! After the complimentary bread (5 ) was served, we ordered the Pizza Bianco (we requested anchovy toppings for $4, so worth it!) 5 which is now our favorite pizza; Penne al Filetto 5 ! I purposely didn't finish it so I can enjoy it more at home; a nice Italian bottle of Chardonnay, La Pietra, which was recommended by one of the owners and she was right! Half price of $75 was sooo worth it!!! Finally, we loved the wedge salad that was new on their menu. Perhaps the best wedge salad we have had! (We always order wedge salad where available and compare them all since). They put the actual pancetta as opposed to crispy bacon which other restaurants do. They have this "Thursday Date Night" menu that we want to try one of these days. So you bet we will be back!!!

The restaurant is in a strip mall, so there is plenty of parking in the evening. The interior is cozy and reminiscent of a traditional Italian restaurant. Nearly all of us ordered a pasta dish, which we enjoyed. A plate of garlic knots was also included with the meal. I had the linguine alle vongole, where the white wine sauce shone and was truly the hero of the dish. My husband had the mussels fra diavolo, which were prepared in a rich, spicy tomato sauce. The dessert was a pistachio tiramisu, which we were excited about. We felt it fell a bit flat, as the pistachio flavor didn't seem to be infused in the tiramisu and was only really detectable in the ground pistachio sprinkled on top of the dessert. Because it was so busy (there was a large kids' soccer team seated behind us), the restaurant was quite loud and service was a bit slow, but always warm and friendly. We were celebrating a special occasion, and the waiter made sure to congratulate us multiple times. Would recommend a stop here if you are craving solid Italian food.

Absolutely worth the wait!…read more We had about an hour-and-a-half wait for a table, but honestly, it worked out perfectly. We used the time to stroll around downtown, do a little shopping, and enjoy the area before our meal. By the time our table was ready, we were excited to sit down and eat. The food was delicious, and the service was just as impressive. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and well worth waiting for. Our server was attentive and friendly, and even with how busy the restaurant was, we never felt rushed. You can tell there's a reason this place has a wait. Great atmosphere, excellent service, and even better food. I'd absolutely come back next time I'll just plan on putting our name in and enjoying downtown while we wait! I completely neglected to take photos, but for once, that was actually a good thing. We were enjoying a true date night without phones or interruptions, just good food, conversation, and each other. Next time I'll try to remember the pictures! We did finish the night with the s'mores dessert, and it was fantastic. My only advice: if you're a dessert lover like we are, it's a little too small to share! Get the s'mores AND another dessert so you can share both and try something else on the menu. Such a great date-night experience from beginning to end. We'll definitely be back!

Tucked away off the main road, this place feels quiet, intimate, and incredibly charming, with dark walls, candlelight, and wine bottles lining the walls. We arrived at an off hour around 5 PM, so it was especially peaceful. The menu is simple and straightforward, with a generously curated wine list to match. We ordered the Lemon Ricotta Crab Dip with a delicious house baguette ($19) and the Pepperoni Focaccia Slab ($17), and everything was fantastic. The ambiance, the food, the wine--it all came together perfectly. The gray sky at sunset somehow made the whole experience feel even more atmospheric and intimate. The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable about both the menu and wine list, and happy to talk about the surrounding area. I will absolutely make a point to stop by again if I am ever back in Temecula.
