I went there without a booking. And got seated and asked for a haircut. The haircut I asked for was a mod cut: a classic hairstyle that any barber should know. The barber said that he didn't know these TikTok hairstyles when I described it to him. He completely messed it up. He cut the front too short. (I asked eyebrows) He shaved the sides down to a 2 when he said he was gonna go a 4. And he also was on his phone the entire time calling someone and showed really no attention to me. He said he'd make the front not look like a bowl cut but he didn't do anything like that. I told him to leave bulk on the top and sides but he made it way too short. On top of that, the left and right sides are uneven. And I don't have enough hair to style. The I proceeded to pay an outrageous 75 dollars for a haircut that I didn't want. I'm really unhappy with this experience. He also talked about how "I made it really short so it's easy to style" which seemed like he was trying to get out of the fact that he completely messed it up. Pushing me into believing the haircut I got was actually good. Overall it was a bad experience, I got the wrong haircut, and it was uneven. I paid an outrageous amount, and the barber was on his phone not paying much attention at times. I attached what I asked for below, which I had enough hair for and what I ended up receiving after styling. I don't know the barber's name but he had braids. Had a great experience here with Tyce who cut and styled my hair and gave my bf the presidental treatment. First off, I haven't gone to the salon to cut my hair in over 10 years and just do it at home because I've been so traumatized in the past with people thinning out my hair when it's already so thin to create layers. She did an amazing job and even gave me a nice oil scalp treatment because I have dry scalp. My bf got the presidental treatment which comes with a haircut, styling, face mask treatment, hand massagers, a cocktail drink, and the owner even theragun him! Made him feel like a king! I went to the Barberhood for a hair cut. It was my first visit. I had selected the Traditional haircut (full service). It's advertised at $80. I went with Joe a master so my cut was $90 and was to include the cut along with a hot towel and electric massage for as they say on their site, a relaxing finish. I did not receive the hot towel or electric massage. I left after paying $90 and giving Joe a 25% tip thinking, I guess I was mistaken maybe that wasn't included in my service. So I looked on line and sure enough should have been. At this point I'm already home. So I called the Barberhood and ask. Should I have received the hot towel and electric massage. He said ya you could come back and ask for it. Why should I have to ask for a service that was included in the cost? Basically the haircut was fine, Joe seemed like a nice enough guy.
