The vibes barista botanist is worth the hype the food, the atmosphere & the service is great. Everyone is friendly and they get drinks and food out pretty fast. Major plus is there is always open street parking close by. We ordered the cinnamon roll - it's a MUST! The açaí bowl was good. The pacific bowl-amazing!! & the turkey sandwich was EXCELLENT. Can't wait to come back.

Ambiance and coffee was not for me. There was no seating and the latte was not good for the price of $8. Music was too loud I couldn't hear my name get called.

The best coffee shop around!

We go almost everyday when we visit our daughter in PB. It's an amazing menu from all the coffee drinks you'd fancy, to muffins and avocado toast, to eggs+sausage breakfasts, yummy juices, creative smoothies, açaí bowls made to order, etc. It's a casual, laidback greenery adorned coffee house that I must say is 10/10!

I'd like to start off with the good things, this place is absolutely gorgeous. I love plants and coffee, so it was hard not to fall in love with the space. There are plants everywhere, huge open windows, and a very airy layout that made the whole café feel super cozy and relaxing for me. They also have a lot of outdoor seating, which is nice on a good weather day. I ordered a latte, which I'd give around a 4/5, and the cinnamon roll was easily the highlight for me which was super fresh and absolutely delicious, definitely a 5/5. Now for the downsides, it's definitely a little pricey, and the staff didn't come across as very friendly or welcoming. Overall though, I'd still give it around a 3.5/5. It's still a really nice spot to read, work, or just hang out if you can grab a table.

This place was excellent. Definitely busy on the weekends but it's worth the line. It's a pretty trendy place, but unlike some other "instagrammable"spots this one is actually worth going to!! Everything is organic and you can taste the freshness. The steak sandwich was fantastic with a flavorful aioli and amazing focaccia. Didn't get a photo of it, but I would also try the toasted coconut latte and the glow smoothie.

The vibe and aesthetic is unmatched. It's got plants and a beachy aura to it. It's always packed with locals and plenty of people working remotely there. It's not my favorite spot for coffee though. Honestly, the coffee is pretty bad. It's more of a place I'll come when I want to sit somewhere fun, rather than have a great drink. There are outlets which is great, but only like 4 tables inside. It fills up immediately so you have to come right when it opens to get a spot. Parking is tough too. The outdoor seating is great!

What a beautiful cafe - love the greenery! The staff were so sweet and gave us great recommendations. We ended up trying the lucky charms matcha (blueberry & lavendar) and orange matcha. Both were so tasty, but I was hoping for more matcha to get that stronger earthy flavor. FYI- this spot is a busy one!! Not sure if I could sit down and get any work done, but I'd definitely come back to hang out and try their food next time!

I absolutely love how cute this spot is. All of the coffee and matcha options are so unique and delicious. They offer goat milk here which is great! I ordered the steak sando and it was absolutely delicious. The side of sweet potato fries were amazing!! Unfortunately the matcha pancakes were not good. It genuinely took so long for them to come out, at least over 30 minutes. All of my friends had completely finished eating so it really took a long time, we even reminded a worker. They also didn't taste like matcha. Overall I definitely will be coming back disregarding the pancake mess. The coffee is really great and you can't go wrong with that. It's more on the pricey side, but very delicious!!

Late Tuesday morning Matcha on on Girls Thrifting Day! The happen to stumble across this because the thrift shop a few doors was closed. Bonus points for how dog friendly this establishment is. Plenty of indoor and out dining. Their merch game was pretty aggressive! We ordered and Ceremonial Matcha, almond milk and unsweetened and a Strawberry Matcha. Mine was good, you could definitely taste the quality of Matcha. These bevies are wee bit pricey so I only treat myself occasionally. Such a cozy cute spot. Will come back and enjoy drinks on-site next time!

Food: 8/10 Service: 9/10 Ambiance: 10/10 had such a good time, I honestly wasn't expecting much because I'm not really a plant person, but the place itself had a really cozy, vibe-- both outdoor and indoor seating. They had a lot of options for food and drink that were very healthy. The food was a little expensive for what it was, but overall it was worth it for the experience. I would most definitely come again.

Gorgeous space! Plenty of seating inside and outside. They have a wide variety to chose from and also have food options. I only got the ube latte and it was okay at best. The coffee was lukewarm and tasted watered down. The customer service was not great they seemed annoyed I was there which felt uncomfortable I had to be the one to greet and initiate was ready to order. I really wanted to love this place and maybe I'll give it a second chance, maybe try the matcha next time!

The barista botanist does a great job at mixing all the trendy Instagram vibes with a truly good latte. A lot of the times when I see funky flavors and cold foams like blood orange, ube, etc., it sounds really good in theory but the flavor doesn't match. I've never felt that at barista botanist. Every "fun" coffee I order tastes better than the last. It's strong, high quality coffee with the perfect amount of creaminess to it. It's not overly strong and it's not overly sweet- the perfect combo. Today i ordered an iced vanilla latte with vanilla cold foams- YUM. I didn't get one this time, but their cookies are PHENOMENAL. The restrooms and space is extremely clean. Note that parking is street parking, so it can be pretty difficult depending on time of the week/day! They really do taste as good as they look. This is the perfect spot to grab a coffee or bite to eat with a friend before the beach!

Oh my! What a great find. Love the indoor, outdoor seating, music, customer service and variety of macha, coffee, smoothies and food. This is a must go to and off the craziness of mission ave.

I appreciated the live music, though it did make conversation a bit difficult to hear. The drinks were sweet and strong! I recommend the Tangled Up in Blue The macaroni and cheese was the best appetizer. The wagyu tartare is actually quite spicy, and although tasty, we could not finish it because of the burn. The entrees were hot and cooked exactly as asked. You seriously get a bang for your buck with the portion size of the chicken parm! I also got some random corn surprises in my dish - I don't mind, but just something to be aware of in case you are allergic. I'm definitely coming back.

We did have a fairly large group so we occupied the entire back wall corner. It was a bit snug in terms of table space and leg space, but we made it work. The staff were doing their best to keep track of everyone's orders, but there were a few mix-ups in the end. Food came out in waves and had a good cadence to the meal. - FOOD - We had a lot to share amongst our group! Wagyu Tartare ($14.00): Really flavorful tartare! Had a nice tartness to it due to the Black Vinegar. Pork Belly Baos ($12.00 - 2pc): Honestly this was just OK to me. Ahi Tuna Crudo ($18.00): Very bright and refreshing. Chicken Satay ($12.00): A little dry on some chicken pieces. Crispy Brussels ($10.00): Not as crispy as I'd hoped but still good. B&R Mac & Cheese ($8.00): Very creamy, very cheesy. The pasta was a bit soft though. Flat Iron Steak & Fries ($25.00): Decent piece of steak, cooked medium well. I honestly enjoyed the fries a lot! However, there must have been something expired, cooked wrong, or just not up to quality as many of us got stomach issues that night and the next day. We were all spread out so not sure what it could have been given we ate a few different items. - OVERALL - It was a cool vibe and they have some good tasting items, but considering a few of us got sick, I'm a bit wary to come back.

It's got the decor, chairs, and art to match. Jessica was our server and she was amazing! She gave us lots of suggestions on what to try and what is on the menu since it was my first time here. She recommended the bloody Mary flight so did grab that to try! We also ordered the biscuits and gravy to share and orange juice. The portions are so large! So I am glad we decided to share the biscuits and gravy but let me run down each thing. Bloody Mary Flight: Honestly every single one was amazing. My favorite was definitely the pickle Mary! Everything tasted so delicious and was garnished beautifully. Well worth the 22 dollars. Biscuits and Gravy: Absolute perfection of comfort food. The biscuits were so fluffy and well seasoned. The gravy was also soooo good, just like my mom makes. The sausage in it was also cooked so well and juicy. I've never tried mashed potatoes with the biscuits and gravy but it worked very well! Orange Juice: Not a fan really, not pulpy enough and I wasn't a fan of the flavor. Overall this is definitely a must visit! I will definitely be back.

The food was amazing! In particular, I enjoyed the fried chicken and waffle tower and their roasted chicken hash. I was surprised they didn't include a side of butter along with their biscuits, but I'll probably just ask for it next time. One important thing to note is that their dishes are HUGE. All 6 of us had our own dishes, but I would highly highly recommend ordering a couple dishes and sharing it family style if you're dining with a group. One note I did have about Hash House is how overstimulating the menu is lol. The menu had a lot of clashing fonts, colors, and clip art images, it made it hard to digest the menu. I didn't even notice some menu offerings because of how busy the menu was. Also, our waitress did initially charge us for 6 coffees, even though we only had 3. It was a good thing we caught that error on the receipt before paying. Overall, the food at Hash House is definitely worth coming back for.

As if that wasn't enough, we walked in and realized it was trivia night, which immediately made the evening even better. While looking through the menu, I spotted a salmon bowl. I'm still pretty new to seafood and have recently discovered that I'm actually a big fan of raw salmon, so I figured this was the perfect opportunity to branch out. Well... surprise! For some reason I had convinced myself it was going to be a poke-style bowl with raw salmon, avocado, cucumbers, and all the usual toppings. Instead, it came out with cooked salmon. Even though it wasn't what I expected, the bowl was actually delicious. The funny part is I learned something about myself... I definitely prefer raw salmon over cooked salmon. Not a bad discovery to make over a good meal! The atmosphere was lively without being overwhelming, trivia kept the energy up all night, and the service was friendly from start to finish. Great place to grab a drink, catch up with friends, and maybe even learn something new about your own taste buds.
