It was a busy morning and we had a large group, however, we didn't have to wait too long for a table. The almond croissant was delicious, and there were plenty of options for vegetarians. One thing I wonders about was why they did not serve brunch all day. The toast with edible flowers was as delicious as beautiful. The cutest place! Not ideal for grab and go coffee lovers but it is possible. Stopped in for a cake batter iced latte which was amazing. Just felt a little awkward while standing there waiting. Breakfast with my daughter on a weekday, I couldn't believe how busy they were. That was a little unexpected, but the crew had no problem providing excellent service. My wife and I had our first visit today, lunch on a rainy Tuesday. We got the last table open at 12:15, the bistro was hopping despite the weather. One bite of our food and we could see why! The "Stinger" buttermilk fried chicken sandwich was absolutely fantastic and my wife loved the falafel sandwich too. Even the coffee tasted great. The meal was prepared with a lot of care for the ingredients which showed in every bite we took. Love this place!!! We're from Virginia and stopped here back in January on our way home. We enjoyed it so much that we stopped by again. We grab and go, so coffee, sandwiches and danish. Both times it's been early, so no crowds. The owner is great, she's so pleasant and accommodating. She made suggestions as we created our breakfast sandwiches. The WORST COBB salad ever. 45 minutes to bring our food out which did not require cooking. And, I do not believe it was made to order. You will wait but the food is worth the wait! This is still a new spot in Wallingford and the staff is handling their new popularity amazingly! Both times I attended we had about a 30 minute wait to be seated. They told us up front and we were perfectly fine to wait. Our food was delicious! I have had 2 different meals, the capreasy sandwich & their burger. They were both fantastic but the burger was my favorite so far! Their sweet potatoe fries are a 10/10 and their pasta salad that comes with most meals should win an award. It is such a cute spot and there is so much attention to detail from the backsplash to the cups! Can't wait to go back! read more

First thing we noticed as we entered the building was bright flowers and friendly staff. The vibrant atmosphere along with creative menu pairs perfectly with the theme of the bistro. There is no parking lot but it was fairly easy to find street parking. We arrived late for the breakfast menu but tried some of the items on the lunch menu along with their special Lattes. The Berrie Latte was great with a light fruity foam on the top but their Samoa iced coffee is the real treat. The coconut, caramel rim is to die for. For food we ordered the stinger (chicken sandwich) with sweet potatoes fries and the carpenter bee (A take on philli cheese steak) also with sweet potatoes fries. The stinger was amazing. Perfect tanginess along with a juicy chicken thigh. The carpenter bee was also good but a little too sweet for my taste. It has a wonderful cheese to meat ratio with a house made tomato sauce. If the sauce was a little less sweet, it would be a definite 5/5. The sweet potato fries were perfect. We bought a few croissants and they are fresh and flakey. This is truly a hidden gem in Wallingford. read more

The staff was kind and you can tell very busy! The inside is small but with a good amount of seating. The menu is smaller but I feel like there is something for everyone.
