I don't remember coming here for dinner before and cannot believe it! We have been for brunch several times, but never dinner. This was an amazing dinner experience. I must say, when I saw on the website that it would still be mobile phone ordering, I was not expecting a great experience, but they have figured it out and it was wonderful. First, the service was top notch. At first we were overwhelmed with the amount of people coming to ask if we needed anything, but they eventually found a rhythm. Our drinks were always full and we didn't have to wait long if we needed to ask for something. Our main server was Billy and he did a great job of explaining to us how the ordering would work and making suggestions on how we timed our orders. When we placed our drink order, it was lightening fast to how quickly they arrived! The manager came by to check in and every person that came to the table was friendly. The service is great and the food is phenomenal!! We were all seriously happy with everything we ate. The oysters Rockefeller were delicious! You could taste every ingredient and the spinach was so creamy, a nice complement to the oyster. We almost ordered a second round, but wanted to save room for dessert. I may go back just for those oysters as a snack. So both husbands got fish and chips. It was a HUGE serving!! They said the batter was crispy and light, with good flavor. The slaw was yummy and I may have stolen a few fries. You normally think, oh it's just a fry. These were yummy. My friend got the special cauliflower steak. It was so pretty! Vibrant colors all over the plate. After seeing how much she enjoyed it and how it looked like art, I wished I had ordered it! Alas, I ordered the lobster pasta. It was good and spicy, though I wasn't blown away by it as the others seemed with their main dishes. Dessert was enjoyed by all. Two of us got the crème brûlée. I really enjoyed it with the strawberries and my friend's husband really enjoyed it with blueberries, lol. I always love the sound of a fresh crème brûlée crack when you break the top with your spoon. The other two in our party got the Bananas Foster bread pudding. It all disappeared quickly. I know this was long, but every detail was great and I wanted to share. It was a cozy and intimate atmosphere, with great service and delicious food. We will absolutely be back! read more

This is a review for the Boathouse at Sunday Park. Decided to come with the family for brunch today, Sunday. Prices are RIDICULOUS. Ordered the "Biscuit Basket" and it came with 3 biscuits for $8! This is absurd. Food portions are way too small and our food was served lukewarm, at best. Too pricey for very little food and poor quality. Save your $ and go somewhere else where you can get more bang for your buck. read more

This is my second time at the Boathouse. The first time was for my sister rehearsal dinner and it was horrible. Everyone's burgers came out raw; mind you I'm a medium rare kinda person and will eat very pink burgers, but this was simply not cooked. The rest of the party had fish tacos that were cold and the tortillas were soggy. Service was extremely slow as well. Tonight we decided to give it another shot with a group of friends. Two positives would be the outdoor patio is beautiful and the light music. They have you order using a QR code so you do not have a designated server or point person. We ordered the fried zucchini chips which were saved by the ranch, but very very greasy. My husbands hot chicken sandwich was also overly covered in grease and the bun was burnt. The Parmesan truffle fries were okay, but again the grease took over. I ordered the simple salmon with pineapple salmon which was a saving grace. I really enjoyed it and the pineapple salsa was a nice touch. The mashed potatoes were creamy and the asparagus was cooked perfectly. Our table got drinks which were also delicious. Someone in our party ordered a virgin drink as she's pregnant and although delivered as a virgin drink w the others it tasted like liquor. When brought up to the bartender their husband was given a major attitude, but the drink was fixed. Overall, I don't think we will be coming back. We've now been disappointment twice unfortunately. After all was said and done we had a 100 dollar underwhelming meal. read more

I have lived here for 36 years and have seen many ownership changes. It's time for another one. They suck. Service and prices. They are always short of servers and the outside bar is often closed. That's what makes this place amazing. Boaters and clients go there for the outdoors and sunset. Prices are also terrible. Covid was the death of this place. What a waste in such great location!!! First off, what the hell is with this mandatory 20% tip?? No. Thank you. Never going to this place again. Any restaurant that forces patrons to tip is not a nice place. The snarky statement on the table is insulting. "We think our staff is worth more than $2.13/hr so guess what, you get to pay for it so we don't have to!" The Fish and Chips was really oily, sickening taste, and the steak burned. We saw our waiter TWICE and had to use this really dumb contactless ordering. Yet he got 20% tip. The service was terrible. I requested a different server as our server was clearly overwhelmed but she refused to turn the table over to another who offered. It took nearly 30 minutes to get our drinks and an hour to get our food. The manager came over and apologized and then walked away. I had the seafood platter and got sick immediately after. Decided to pop back out and try the experience inside of the heated igloo and I was surprisingly amazed. The heated igloo added to the experience as it allowed you to enjoy the outside atmosphere without freezing. As always the food was top notch the salmon was cooking correctly with a nice out of crust while the fish itself remained flaky and moist. The crab cake was cooked to perfection and the crab dip was amazing I can order that alone every single time I come.
